It's in the under salon so it is very quiet but you can hear it still. You have to run the generator to power it the whole time so you hear that too and it has a cooling pump so you hear the water running overboard as well
Yes! They kind of do when they install it. Andrew Jones in San Diego is our local Seakeeper installer and he is awesome. I've watched him install a couple of the units and he normally has the unit in two parts when it's going in and then combines it once the unit is in place
Great question Larry! Normally the Seakeeper is installed at the factory. This particular owner wasn't sure if he wanted one and decided to add it once the boat was in San Diego. Easy enough for us to install in San Diego and made for a cool video opportunity too! Thank you for watching
would love to know how it’s working? can he hear it at night on the anchor?

Seakeepers are awesome.
Couldn't they somewhat DIS-ASSEMBLE it though, to make it much much easier to install?

would it work on a sail boat
Does these have practical use on larger sailboats? (60 footer)
Interesting question... It wouldn't do anything while you were under sail but anchored out it would definitely help
How much does that thing weigh? Gotta be pretty heavy
400lbs
The thing is so HEAVY that it sinks the boat, but at least the boat is very very stable.
Just kidding - it actually looks pretty awesome.
I heard it cost around $9000 to install a Seakeeper - I didn't believe them that it was that high. But after seeing this, I kind of understand.
Why wasn't something like that installed where the boat was built? It sure would have been easier and probably cheaper.

Some people would gladly pay $50 grand not to be sea sick.😂
Your boat requires the seakeeper 5.why you not using the right size unit? Cheap skate.
Say cool one more time...
Title: Istalling sea keeper.
What title should have been: using a chain fall and A frame to move seakeeper.
Zero installation seen in this video
My bad, just thought it was cool
If this boats a rockin…. It won’t be
