That piece of music you have looping in the background of this and many other of your videos is the EERIEST music I've ever heard. It's like someone set out to capture, in music form, the strangeness and unsettling feeling that accompanies these missing persons cases, especially the Missing 411 cases. You do a terrific job of humanizing these folks, and making them so much more than just grainy photos and statistics. Thank you!

    Perfect voice for true crime!

  • @parkerlynne

Immediate click. Your voice is so calming, I love to listen while I craft.

Just googled the Susan Ledyard case, her husband was recently arrested for beating his new wife severely with a statue and biting the tip of her finger off. It seems he also since then trashed an airbnb, and got into a fight with another girlfriend. Seems very suspicious, as we all know a woman who is murdered is most likely killed by an intimate partner.

Several of these cases have people going places either alone, going to areas where they're not familiar with or hanging out with people they don't really know. Stay safe people, everyone is at risk to come across bad people, even men are vulnerable nowadays. Don't pick up hitchhikers or open your window to anyone who wants to speak to you, even women, as many are working with traffickers. Just call the police immediately if they "need help".

On July 4th, 1966 three Chicago women disappeared from the Indiana Dunes State Park in Porter/Chesterton Indiana. They were last seen talking to a man in a boat just offshore. Never seen again. Their belongings, left on a beach towel were never claimed.

    It's NEVER a Mannequin .!!!!

I wonder if Kai could have committed suicide? I wonder if the fires on Maui will complicate finding him now? Last place he was seen was on Front Street which is sadly now gone.

The case of Nikki & Adrienne is so incredibly sad, both mother and daughter in one night! I do have to wonder about the neighbor who didn't hear anything. Not her specifically, but about who else lived there, and what men visited her regularly. Perhaps a relative that came often enough to be recognizable but not necessarily known to Nikki? Thanks for putting this all together and bringing light to unknown cases!

This is a very good podcast. So heartbreaking, so many good people just vanishing in plain site. I wish some of these people could have gotten publicity when their trails were still fresh. I think that the newspaper reporters can be very useful in many cases. Thank you for not letting these people vanish without a least some people learning about them.

So many of these cases seem so solvable. Like all they might need is one piece to complete the puzzle. I really hope those pieces come soon and get justice for the victims and their families.

I love your channel and the narrator's voice. I am very interested in true crime, but when it comes to crimes against children, it takes all I can do to listen. It is just heartbreaking. Thank you for your hard work in bringing these tragic cases to light!
