Huge props to you guys for promoting him after leaving to do his own thing.

Noo, after all the work you guys have done to bring the painting phase to the awesomeness it is and now he's jumping ship, you thing are like Clarkson and Co, I'm most shocked at Peachy, very very confused.

Glad to see Peachy at least one more time on The painting Phase. I'm gonna miss your chemistry guys. You three were like Top Gear of miniature painting, but in a good way!

Ignore all the speculative and weirdly hostile comments because there are always gonna be people like that out there. It's a shame that Peach left but I'm sure you guys will do fine. Keep calm and carry on as they say

No Peachy, it isn’t my choice if I want my dragons to look funny or not, that’s why I’m here trying to learn. ;)

Gonna miss peachy but maybe the painting phase can embrace its true calling.... Liberating games workshop employees from the stydgian clutches of gw. You guys need a flag and a manifesto.😄

Wow, I remember going in to kill Onyxia almost 20 years ago. My guild was so terrible there were nights I had to finish tanking her as a rogue with my dodge ability active. I never got the T2 rogue helmet :(

These minis really pique my nostalgia for my old hardcore WoW days. It's pretty cool to get all these STL files for free. I dig the aesthetic they are going for, it makes them quite paintable even for those of us who aren't former GW painters.
    Thanks for the video guys!

Always glad to see the gloss come out. I think gloss gets an unfair shake in a lot of hobby circles. It's such a good way to reinforce texture variation without a ton of work.

A gloss varnish over select bits like eyes and claws is a great cheat that looks great. The first time I tried that trick was when I painted a few cute villager owls for an RPG, a gloss varnish over the black eyes with yellow rims made it look 100 times better, like I actually put a lot of effort into them with proper reflections in the eyes.

Kinda odd how the Warcraft promo spot didn't show the game for even a second! XD
Oh well, that's how modern gamers do things I suppose... just cinematics and no gameplay. How do you make a decision on a game from just a cinematic?
The model was nicely painted and the big about the glossy eyes is good advice to add life to the model.

Chris produced this video while employed by The Painting Phase and we are contractually obligated to distribute it. I hope that answers your question.

I love the idea that because Peachy has left, he's got to be scrubbed from all content.
I look forward to old videos being re-edited to replace Peachy with a second Geoff, or two extra Patricks in a trenchcoat.

Look at Pheonix Wright Ace Attorney over here getting ready to tell everyone how to do their job lol "Um ack-shu-all-y, I follow over 2,000 meme accounts, so I'm kind of an expert on British contract law and ethics."
