Hey guys, I hope you´re all staying safe and healthy! Here is a workflow on 2 cylinders and how I would approach the topology. I did not explain every tool, this was more of a method presentation. If you´re interested in the tools, there is a video series here on my channel, and website, covering the basics. On the other hand, if you are interested in more in-depth training, then check out my course on Mastering 3D Modeling. I will leave the link in the description. There is a ton of stuff inside, I keep adding new content regularly, and we have an active community to help you along the way if you need it! Stay safe, guys! Until next time, Mario
to have an 90 degree angle cut you just have to select the first point, then hold shift+ctrl under the commande . in that case a green little half square would show at both corners of ur starting point and ending point. if only one is shown means the 2 edges connected aren't parallel
you are a very talented and gifted 3D artist brother. if only you can teach us everything bout modeling in maya here on youtube im sure the world of new 3D artists would be proud and very thankful for what you do. a very experience maya 3D artist one i myself admire alot and is proud of, your tutorials and courses are always amazing, please dont stop teaching us we would miss you if you ever leave thos whole thing that your doing brother. ive learned alot from you including many of my friends/ppl i know but it seems like its just never enough, your tutorials are always great and informative so thank you so much.
You should check out his master class series on his site. He’s got way more videos on there and even uploads newer ones occasionally. It’s a one time payment as well, unlike most other classes that require you to sign up for newer sessions
@@CVerse I’ll be buying into his courses next month when I get some money. Been tackling maya via Skillshare, but I haven’t come across anything as good as this guys videos/work
Thank oyu for your videos) I'm currently studying topology intensively How often do you have to model by eye? This is fine? I try to always create 3d models from quads, how critical are the triangles? In what cases can they be used? Some 3D models have a very complex topology and when trying to reduce it, complex and intricate loops appear that go through the entire mesh - is this a mess?
Hey Mario in that time when i right this comment just i get in my mind why i didn't ask you about how you limiting your time when you doing model for example if you create a new model like weapon for example how you doing that or you not care about what ever it take just end this model on perfect look i get some confused about that please give me a hand on this or talking about that when you produce new tutorial i wait your replay . More or less i wanna thank you about all your effort you are a leader for me
Are you using Redshift now? What is your impression of this renderer? Another thing, when you need to align a line using the scale tool, press "J" and drag a little bit in the desired direction. In addition, thanks for your tips, it always helps us a lot. Hug!

The intervals of 4 was such a good tip!
An excellent take on mangaing topology. Been modelling for nearly a decade now, and you've given me some interesting thoughts on support loops!
I think your UA-cam lecture is very helpful. Thank you always.
youre a god at modeling man, currently taking your maya course and im loving it so far!
Thank you so much for all maya tutorials, looking forward for Arnold rendering tutorials :)
Love your hard surface modelling videos, kepp doing those kind of videos !

Thank you. How do you highlight the axis on the grid? That's neat. Hope you are doing well.
Wow. Awesome. Keep uploading more videos like this.

Yep, tried it a while back but only recently gave it a proper chance and gotta say I love it so far!
Hello. It is unfortunate that there is no display of keyboard shortcuts.
Why l can't use zbrash + Boolean + retop(decimated)?
Clean modeling it's so important?
*Sorry about that, because I noob in modeling.
