"Oh, you think darkness is your ally. You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!" - Bane's iconic line

Or "Victory has defeated you" perhaps. "I was wondering what would break first. Your spirit...or your body". Maybe? The statement was count to 5 and not to 5 seconds, so either way. I don't understand the fuss around timing it, cause we could all count to 5 differently and you wouldn't use seconds to count to five with a bomb in your hand
Also at 2:38 in The Dark Knight the mansion (and the Batcave consequently) were yet to be rebuilt (or finished, since Alfred mentions it was a work in progress) and Batman didn't appear since 8 years prior. So why to bother to build a Batcave at all if he didn't have intentions to be Batman again?????
It was only the Wayne manor that got destroyed. The cave was intact, in any case, why wouldn't Batman be ready in case something catastrophic would happen to Gotham. Like Scarecrow, Ra's, and Joker
Random detail stuck in my head: while I haven't been to any homes that nice, I have worked in a few multi million dollar properties that the owners wanted gravel driveways because they like the sound of the crunch under the tires. But they did have sprinklers lining the obnoxiously long driveways. Because they needed gravel but no dust. All that to say, rich people make silling choices.
Here’s a car guy sin that always got me. Bruce has been a recluse for 8 years yet he’s still able to buy the latest model of Lamborghini that only just came out.
@user-mv3xo2di7i It makes perfect sense, their goal was the same as Ra's, to destroy Gotham at any cost. As for the prisoners and people of Gotham, they were just using them to get what they want, you can draw a lot of parallels to fascism and populist movements.

22:19 Even before you said anything when I was reminded of this terrible acting death I started laughing! WTF was that really the best attempt she could do at acting dead? First off she closes her eyes, second she jerks head to the side as if going limp but her head turns back a little immediately after doing so 😂. I wouldn’t have been surprised if she opened her eyes and yelled “BOO” or something. 😂
19:29 gotta admit you guys f'd up on that one. If you go from the moment you hear the beeping, it's 7 seconds. If you go from the moment he says "throw", it's 5 to 6-ish seconds. You counted "0" as part of the timer.
Flying low level avoids most terrestrial radar systems as they rely on line of sight for detection. The graphite finger prints being untraceable means that the criminal using them can't be traced, not the finger print itself. "Friendsian slip" makes up for these two oversights! Another great video, thank you again.
For the count to 5 then throw, even if you start from the instant he says the word count it still isn't 5 seconds. Since the bomb is already beeping it makes some sense for the countdown to begin right away, but even still that was a rushed countdown. And we know from the Dark Knight that he can set those timers on the fly to any amount of time he wants.
@@darkyknight9788 For one, I feel like you misunderstand the purpose of cinema sins. In every movie you must assume everything is in real time unless otherwise shown and sin those who will not correctly account for timers they set. @@jeremylefevre9610 huh? The bomb blows up after 4.5 seconds (how EGREGIOUS) after the start of the on-screen timer, and that timer started well after "count."
19:31 So the bomb kinda does blow up after 5 seconds, but the Sin here is actually that Batman says "count to five THEN throw"... Robin throws after about 2 seconds but he DEFINiTELY would have died if he listened to Batman..
the biggest problem with this movie is that the plot moves based on stuff characters couldn't have known unless they were writing the script, but the movie tries to convince us that they planned everything even though there is some insane rng that is crucial to all the ''planning''
The theory of pumping Reese for info made that @ 13:00 true joy, instead of me believing how far-fetched (even more so than the rest of it) it was Bane knowing where all the Bat gear was! the biggest that you forgot is at the start when they somehow dont know that that guy was bane, THEY put on HIS bag on his head how did they not see him
I haven't watched *Pennyworth* , but I'm a massive *Gotham* fanboy and Alfred was also a major badass in that show. Sean Pertwee kicked so much ass for 5 seasons... I'm glad we got so many cool live action Alfreds recently, between Jeremy Irons, Andy Serkis, Douglas Hodge, and from what I hear, Jack Bannon... Justice for Alfy! Never forget/forgive Bane!
@@randallflagg3700 You have three seasons of great television waiting for you if you ever decide to see Pennyworth. I thought it was going to be garbage but has remained consistently impressive on par with or even better than Gotham in some of it's moments. Sean Pertwee killed the role in Gotham and by far the most interesting among the protagonists considering Gotham was a TV show showcasing villains but Jack Bannon damn, suave AF.
I’m still shocked how no one comments on how bane is able to achieve his muscle mass or even eat if he can’t remove his mask. That was one of my initial gripes when I first saw the movie. Nolan should’ve stuck with grounded characters because he ruins all of fantastical elements of the Batman universe
12:45 There's literally a monologue by the white-haired man in the prison about the mask pumping anaesthetic to dull his pain, enabling him to take more pain.
6:41 Bruce Wayne does not wear a mask because he sees his real face as the disguise. It IS a rather important, albeit brief, moment in the movie and is too often overlooked.

“You merely adopted the Dark, I was Born in it”. Go watch the Tom Hardy interview about his character in this film. He is very short so it was funny to see how camera angles and lifts can make actors seem way bigger on camera.
Indeed, I remember before the movie came out, everyone was complaining that Bane was a midget, and no one knew who Tom Hardy was... I was surprised they managed to make such a short dude (1.75m) look so tall, apparently he was wearing 3 inches lifts... any more and he couldn't walk around. I ended up liking this Bane a lot, I liked that they didn't try to top Heath Ledger's Joker, and went in a totally different direction with the villain of the 3rd movie.
@@TheGreatestVoice1958 - Hardy is 1.75m, which is more like 5.75 according to google. No way is Tom 1.80m (5,9). I'd say anything under 6 is short, but most 5.11 can claim 6 without being called out too hard, so... Anyway, Hardy is definitely on the shorter side at 5.75, especially for someone playing a behemoth like Bane. He did a fantastic job with his physical limitations, though, that must be said.
@@randallflagg3700 I mean, you can claim that anyone under 6 feet is short, but you would be factually incorrect. Literally any metric will tell you that average height for men is between 5’9-5’10. @@TheGreatestVoice1958 - You're right, having spent half my life in European countries (Netherlands, France, Germany) where being around 1.80 is the "slightly smaller norm" has probably skewed my perception. And the funny part is that at + 6ft, I'm the total runt of the litter in my family. My father, grand-father, my 4 uncles, my brother, my numerous cousins, are ALL way taller than me. Also, feet are kinda imprecise, aren't they? No wonder American males always round up their height positively, with meters you can be precise without looking like you're coping. Anyway, cheers
@23:34 been a while since i saw this film but i'm pretty sure Alfred explains to Bruce that he goes to the same place/same cafe on holiday each year. 8:20 Also, when batman takes the "galaxy note" from the biker, before that he punches him and his helmet breaks off: here he punches sideways, but the front visor of the helmet gets broken and the dude just falls to sleep.
If you count to 5 from the moment Batman hands it to future robin it’s exactly 5 seconds so that sin should be revoked and then added again because Batman’s instructions were count to 5 THEN throw, following batmans instructions would have resulted in the nade going boom in future robin’s hand. 😁

The statement was count to 5 and not to 5 seconds, so either way. I don't understand the fuss around timing it, cause we could all count to 5 differently and you wouldn't use seconds to count to five with a bomb in your hand
@@karaborembeyi1984 also it was film editing. When Blake throws it after the cut, its implied a few seconds passed since he took the bomb.
@@darkyknight9788 also, also... even the on screen timer lasts 110 frames at 24fps, which is less than half a second away from the full 5 seconds.
"Bane: Golfing and smores."
He clearly said "Goddamn, it's Eeyore's." Bane likes writing Winnie the Pooh slashfic in his spare time.
As long as their choices are expensive, they hire us to make it happen, and they pay their bills.
OF COURSE!!!
I dunno, man. Cars moving slowly over gravel is a pretty sweet sound! 👌
Shame we won't get to see Bane being juiced up by Venom like in the comics.
That’s too comic book-ish.
Makes him seem less intimidating tbh.
we kind of did, in a different universe.
I think that the anesthesia within the bane mask is the nolanverse depiction of the venom serum.
15:23 Because later they show them needing it to get supplies across. I guess those boats from the last movie were unavailable.
Here’s a car guy sin that always got me. Bruce has been a recluse for 8 years yet he’s still able to buy the latest model of Lamborghini that only just came out.
This guy’s laugh just cracks me, I can’t help but laugh along with him hahaha - love these videos!
The entire Nolan trilogy is a masterpiece. So glad I grew up with it
I grew up with Batman (1989) and Batman Returns but not Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.
@user-mv3xo2di7i It makes perfect sense, their goal was the same as Ra's, to destroy Gotham at any cost. Their plan to was to leave before the explosion but they were okay with being in it if it came to that. As for the prisoners and people of Gotham, they were just using them to get what they want, you can draw a lot of parallels to fascism and populist movements.
@@ot_customs_So blowing up Gotham was such an amazing and important plan that they were willing to die for it, simply to honor Ras Al Ghul? Meh.
Why do they even care about Gotham that much...
@@ot_customs_ Then why did they wait 6 MONTHS doing nothing after seizing Gotham? Writing is even more lazier then most MCU movies lol
Not this movie
The Shawshank voiceover as he crawled out of the pit was perfect 😂
I'm surprised that motorcycle "crash" didn't get sinned too. The guy should have been going fast enough that there's no way he just casually flipped over the batpod, landing just like 5 feet away. He should have been landed like 30 feet away.
16:07 "Golfing and S’mores!" Ah, yes, my favorite Bane quote from the movie!
I never connected that the antagonist police assist chief was named joker in full metal jacket. Cool
Dude, you sinned this when Batman tried to kill Robin and you didn't even understand what happened.
Batman: COUNT TO 5 THEN THROW!!!!!!
bomb explodes at 4
He told him to throw it after counting to 5.
If Robin had listened, it would have killed him.
I’m still waiting for The Last Airbender re sinned.
And I highly doubt I’m the only one
Cinemawins should do Everything Great About Avatar The Last Airbender.

Not a SINGLE sin removal for DKR? That's undeservedly harsh - especially for Tom Hardy's performance.
The wages of sin is death. And for me after that opening scene/sin it died.
donkey kong remastered?
Meh, this is by far the worst movie in the trilogy. It’s not surprising to me.
Ohhh, you think the sin is your ally. You merely adopted the sin. I was born by it, molded by it. I didn’t see a sin removed until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING
The audio outtakes are by far and away the best thing ever🤣🤣🤣
Still one of my favs, because I spent two days filming the start of the final fight scene way back in November 2011. Actually you can see me at 20:16.

You're the guy on the faaaar far right, being held back from behind by another dude? I've checked you pictures on your website, and the one who looks the closest to you in that scene would be that dude.
Or maybe the guy getting kneed in the nuts between Bane & Batman?
Anyway, that's a cool story you got there, Scott!
@@randallflagg3700 Hey, thanks much. So I'm the dude between Batman and Bane getting his ass kicked with his ass to the camera. I always end up being the one who loses, ha ha.
Thank you for filming my favorite Batman movie 🥲
Sin #88. 14:24. . . the ep1cn3ss of editing. Well done 👏
16:07 HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sin 143 - im pretty sure the Bat Pod is electric aka can run completely silently, it makes sense because the shape doesn't leave room for a big powerful ice but an electric motor could easy fit inside the void of each tire.
Great videos btw, I always enjoy these!
While logical that makes sense. We hear the batpod make literal silly amounts of noise with every tiny movement, even in moments batman presumably wants to be stealthy. Every tiny movement in that things suspension makes all the whirring noises in the world
Pete Holmes absolutely nailed so much of this film with his Badman sketches.

0:26 there is, it’s to avoid radar detection using a piece of terrain to block the radar waves
Love all the references at the end. Honestly my favorite part of these videos and was really sad when they started to disappear.
Thank you for the years of dinginginginging
22:19 Even before you said anything when I was reminded of this terrible acting death I started laughing! WTF was that really the best attempt she could do at acting dead? First off she closes her eyes, second she jerks head to the side as if going limp but her head turns back a little immediately after doing so 😂. I wouldn’t have been surprised if she opened her eyes and yelled “BOO” or something. 😂
IMHO it was when she knifed Bats and both are having a normal conversation for 'bout 10min :P
@@joneshugh 😂 TRUE!! Just forgot cause they sort of went over that scene fast in this but yeah that was another ridiculous one.
This movie was the first I’ve ever seen sinned on your channel. So cool to see a re-sin video.
Anyone notice when they remove a sin it's just the ding in reverse.
Ding
Gnid
Is this some kind of high-level sarcasm, or...? 🤨
This is obvious
You forgot to give this movie a sin for three thousand cops defeating twelve million + people with very little to no riot gear
The biggest sin in this movie is everything about Robin.
Oh and yes that miranda death scene is hilarious
Her death in Inception was better than this one 😂
19:29 gotta admit you guys f'd up on that one. If you go from the moment you hear the beeping, it's 7 seconds. If you go from the moment he says "throw", it's 5 to 6-ish seconds. You counted "0" as part of the timer.
not to mention even their timer stopped after 4.5 seconds, which is incredibly close for a movie.
This movie had 4 billion plot holes
That was just editing. It wasnt supposed to be in real time.
@@darkyknight9788 For one, I feel like you misunderstand the purpose of cinema sins. In every movie you must assume everything is in real time unless otherwise shown and sin those who will not correctly account for timers they set. Also, actually in this scene we see both sides of the hand off in the cut so it's very clear this is meant to be in real time. Sorry, i get you love the movie, but the sin stands. Lol
@@jeremylefevre9610 huh? The bomb blows up after 4.5 seconds (how EGREGIOUS) after the start of the on-screen timer, and that timer started well after "count."
It reminds me of the "count to.....ten" scene in The Fifth Element. Movie bullshit.
19:31 So the bomb kinda does blow up after 5 seconds, but the Sin here is actually that Batman says "count to five THEN throw"... Robin throws after about 2 seconds but he DEFINiTELY would have died if he listened to Batman..
The 'fighting' in the background of the last battle always looked so clumsy to me 😂
When Bane was watching the Bat fly away, they really should’ve had him ask: “where does he get those wonderful toys?”
the biggest problem with this movie is that the plot moves based on stuff characters couldn't have known unless they were writing the script, but the movie tries to convince us that they planned everything even though there is some insane rng that is crucial to all the ''planning''

Youn's all DEFINITELY need to do the R.E.D. duo!! I can already see the sin counter chiming off!!
lol the ending using other movie voices to supplant the movies was hilarious keep doing it lol
The theory of pumping Reese for info made that @ 13:00 true joy, instead of me believing how far-fetched (even more so than the rest of it) it was Bane knowing where all the Bat gear was! Unfortunately, I will always remember the scene in this film when my fellow fans in Aurora were viciously attacked. Or maybe fortunately, as I never want to forget them.
what happened?
@@aksiniyaalves7890 You mean the Aurora shootings?
17:35 Having broken my back TWICE, I can assure you that you would be dreading EVERY inch of that climb! You can damage just the bone or cartilage in your back and the spinal chord be just fine or just slightly swollen causing some temporary paralysis.
Watching it in the theater... I would have added about a hundred sins for not being able to hear Bane's dialog. (Could hear it on the DVD clearly, and it had subtitles.)
Sweet jangus do I agree so much with you
16:08 the subtitles read: " golfing and smores". even the movie doesn't know what the hell he's saying!

Cause prequels are absolute garbage sans some a few exceptions. They're not cannon.
@@hereisthefullvid8934 do you mean it is explained in the clip, lol?
For the 'Count to five and throw' scene... I would have gone with the Holy Handgrenade bit, 'Thou shalt not count to four. Five is right out!'
The Bane gibberish had me dying
I’m still shocked how no one comments on how bane is able to achieve his muscle mass or even eat if he can’t remove his mask. That was one of my initial gripes when I first saw the movie.
Nolan should’ve stuck with grounded characters because he ruins all of fantastical elements of the Batman universe
Whenever Bane goes for a walk, he asks his enemies how's their health plan.
Apparently it was great.
The collateral is... the Bane amount.
Is that a motherfucking *Hellsing Abridged* reference???
I love the TFS reference!
Can’t believe it’s been 10 years. Wow.
16:07 "Golfing and smores!" 😂
Sin #112 @ 17:44: "cameoing this idiot"
It wasn't Nolan's choice, fyi - that cameo was: "BY ORDER of the PEAKY! FOOKIN'! BLINDERS!!!"
12:45 There's literally a monologue by the white-haired man in the prison about the mask pumping anaesthetic to dull his pain, enabling him to take more pain.
Falling that far with a rope tied around his waist would do more damage than Bane’s knee.
Agreed.
6:41 Bruce Wayne does not wear a mask because he sees his real face as the disguise. It IS a rather important, albeit brief, moment in the movie and is too often overlooked.
-100 sins for Heinz Ward taking it to the house!
10 years later and I still can't understand a word Bane says
Pretty sure I built something for batman... Dude was an astronaut and had a third floor gym trough a balcony with no stair to it.... I had to get up there to put three furnace's in. The attic was hidden behind a mirror in the gym, coolest shit ever. I charged him extra for being too damn rich
This video needs to be the full length of the movie.
that bridge was for bringing resources in, smh someone forgot to rewatch the movie
Catwoman sitting on the batpod should have have got a sin off because I got put in the doghouse as well as my friend. As always thank you for the content 👍
That's perfect. " Those 8 guys suck at shooting cat girl and batman," followed by their trained killers lol xD
Tom is 5’9, that’s not short at all. It’s perfectly average. 5’4 is short.
Your feelings on the matter are not relevant to that.
Also on his IMDb page it says he’s 5’9. He looks about that tall anyway
@@TheGreatestVoice1958 - You're right, having spent half my life in European countries (Netherlands, France, Germany) where being around 1.80 is the "slightly smaller norm" has probably skewed my perception.
For instance, I'm French and I'm 183cm tall, which is, according to google, "taller than about 80.3% of men and 100% of women in the USA".
Also, you missed out that Bruce's arthritis was "cured" by him putting on a leg brace, which even allowed him to kick a wall. That's not how either of those things work (arthritis and leg braces!)
16:10 “Golfing and S’mores”= greatest sin ever.
Please do The Prestige it should get less than 10 sins 😂, maybe near the time Oppenheimer comes out.
OH, YOU THINK DARKNESS IS YOUR ALLY!
8:20
Also, when batman takes the "galaxy note" from the biker, before that he punches him and his helmet breaks off: here he punches sideways, but the front visor of the helmet gets broken and the dude just falls to sleep.
If you count to 5 from the moment Batman hands it to future robin it’s exactly 5 seconds so that sin should be revoked and then added again because Batman’s instructions were count to 5 THEN throw, following batmans instructions would have resulted in the nade going boom in future robin’s hand. 😁
