Love all of Susie Finkbeiner's books! Stories that Bind Us is probably my favorite but they are all wonderful!

I am reading Stories that Bind Us by Susie Finkbeiner right now, my first by her. I am loving her writing and will definitely pick up more of hers! I also have a Joanna Davidson Politano book in my stack to try to get to this month. "Everyone" enjoys her so much, I am excited to try her books. Lori Wick was one of the first Christian authors I read, and I read all of her books...some several times. I want to reread The Hawk and the Jewel again now. 😊

Hawk and the Jewel!!!!!😍😍😍 One of my favorite books. I haven't read Lady Jayne Disappears yet, but I read one of Joanna's books last year and fell in love.

I just finished Walking through Fire by Vaneetha Rendall Risner. She had polio as a child. This was an incredible book! It helped me in so many ways, and I haven't even come close to the suffering she has endured!

The Hawk and the Jewel is one of my favorite books ever! I could not begin to count how many times I've read it (hint: I bought it new years ago when I was a teenager and the book is pretty worn out by now, Lol.) I enjoy all of the characters in the story and I appreciate the strong faith content in Lori Wick's writing. And yes... Brandon! (swoon) 😊

For the author in a different place, Once There Was A War by John Steinbeck. He was in WW2 and yeah its nonfiction. I don't know abt the content. I'm reading it this month.

I have The Hawk and The Jewel but haven’t read it. But I think I will for February. I’m reading River to Redemption by Ann Gabhart. I recommend Joni (pronounced Johnny) by Joni Erickson Tada for the disability prompt. You may see it come through the thrift store sometime. It’s an old book about her diving accident and Christian faith from that. I have a recommendation just because you read nonfiction. Deceived No More by Doreen Virtue and her time in the new age movement and then finding Christ. I’m going to read it in February. I follow her on IG. Great video! 👏🏻

Oh yes I was considering Joni’s story … if I can find a book of hers! And yes, Doreen’s book has been on my radar for a while and definitely want to check it out!
