- Here are the 3 books I read in August, plus the books I feel I'll be in the mood for this Fall. I'm so ready for all of the Autumnal mood reads and getting out of a slump!! And of course, I'm simply excited for fall in general!! It's my favorite! ☺️🍂

Isn’t it interesting that returning to the classics can get us out of our reading slumps? I find the older I get, the more depth I need from my books. It use to not be that way. I was predominately a romance reader. And I still am, but lately I’ve been craving classics. Which is good for me because I’m fairly new to the classics and there’s much to dive into. I’m reading Jane Eyre this Fall. You have a great pile of possibilities. You got me thinking of Anne. I’m on the third book. I may add this in. Happy Fall reading, my Friend! 🍁🍂🥰

Completely unrelated to this list, but I got Story People after hearing you talk about it. Two chapters in, I almost gave up. It just wasn't working for me. Thankfully, I tried one more chapter and found myself hooked. The book was such a gem and I almost missed it! My library doesn't carry it and I had never heard of it before. So glad you talked about it. Super great book!! A new favorite for me! 💗

I haven't read Shadows Of Swanford Abbey but I have read The Secret Of Pembrooke Park by Julie Klassen and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I am looking forward to reading her Ivy Hill series. I was intrigued by the series because I used to live on a street called Ivy Hill. lol

I love anything related to the Titanic too! Have yall ever been to the Titanic museum in TN?
Yes! We actually went on our honeymoon! (We also watched the movie and it was my first time seeing it!) That’s where my interest really began! Over valentines this past year, our local theaters were playing Titanic in 3D and that’s what we did for a date! It was so fun watching it on the big screen! But makes me cry every time 🥹
@carmenjanae oh wow really?! Yall really do like Titanic lol! The Titanic museum is one of my favorite attractions of all time. That must have been so cool to see in 3D!
