I could NEVER do a favorites video on books! But I love a lot of the books that you talk about. I also always related to Jo Marsh. 😊 I own The Mark of the Lion series... So good! I VERY rarely reread anything, but plan to reread those sometime.

On your recommendation, I picked up The Story People a couple weeks ago. I'm so happy I did! I just finished it today after only 3 days of reading. What a sweet story! The storyline was not exactly what I expected and I'm happy about that. Mrs. Gardener and the Professor! 🥰 As well as Rosemary's reason for being reticent toward men hit a little too close to home. I laughed, I cried. A new favorite! ✨️

I would say favorite fiction is Pride and Prejudice, and Christy. Favorite non fiction is probably shadow of the almighty, heavenly man, don’t waste your life. Favorite series is the Anne of Green Gables series. My favorite adaptation is definitely the Anne of Green Gables series.
Oh yes! Those are all so good 😍 except I haven’t read Christy yet.

oh my gosh yes I agree with you on all fronts regarding the Anne adaptations! altho the second and third movies are soooo off from the books!
I actually haven’t seen the 3rd movie yet 😅 just the first two!
@@carmenjanae the first two are good(if you look outside of them being not like the books) but the third one is quite questionable! I kinda enjoyed watching it just to see Anne and Gilbert but the story is awful!

I’ve seen the 1982 version but I wasn’t aware there was a other! I enjoyed the movie though! ☺️
@carmenjanae I think there's one from the 30s. I watched them a long time ago like in middle school but I think I liked the 80s one better. I haven't read the book though!
