I've read some Jody Hedlund and enjoyed them, though I haven't read that one. I've been wanting to try Kristy Cambron and read more Kristi Ann Hunter! I'm planning to participate, but I'll probably just mood read for the prompts. I think they're broad enough that I can do that. 😊

You were right about The Robe. It is better when Marcus gets to Jerusalem. I enjoyed when Paulus was explaining about the Jews and their history and beliefs. I’m still dipping into it when I’m in the mood for it. Have you read Rosaria Butterfield’s book about becoming a Christian? I have not finished it. There’s that mood again but she seems to me like she is impatient with Christians. 🤔She seems like she misses a lot about her old life. 🤨 I didn’t like We Were the Lucky Ones. I tried twice to get into it. 🤷♀️Great video! 👏🏻 Your baby sounds happy! Must have great parents. 😊

I have enjoyed what I've read by Jody Hedlund and Kristy Cambron. Also, I hate trying to say authors names on Booktube!!! I have once or twice managed to remember to look it up beforehand but usually I'm winging it....! 😅
40 years ago when I started reading Christian fiction, Gilbert Morris and Dee Henderson were my go to authors. Gilbert Morris’s books are comforting, educational and inspiring. I have read The Ballerina by Kristy Cambron, and loved it. 5 stars for me. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read by her. Looking forward to your opinion.
I just haven’t found many Christian Historical Fiction authors that have the richness of Morris’s books. Just so so good. Still have many to catch up on with His!
You reminded me of the House of Winslow series! I picked up the 1st 3 books at a library sale a while back. What prompts do you think The Honorable Imposter would fill in Amanda's readathon?
Hhmm I would say Heartwarming for sure, Multiple Genres (historical fiction and romance although not as heavy on the romance side.) It would definitely feature family and friendships. possibly multiple POVs, although Gilbert, the MMC, is the predominant one. So I think it could work with most of the prompts. It’s a great one! One of my favorites of the series.☺️
