Good idea welding ID on the bottom of the disk. I have had a few walk out of my camp while out fishing or hunting. I have made many of these over the years. Working on one now will weld ID numbers on mine tomorrow.
I live in New Mexico and see these disco’s for sell all the time. I didn’t understand it until some fellas made discada today on my job site. Best damn thing ever. Now that I see this rib-eye action , I see the possibilities. I’m buying one.

Please let me know how it turns out! Also, once your steaks are complete on the disco, take a quick video of you saying, "And that's the Disco Dish!". We are gathering clips of people cooking on their disco.
If you haven't got one yet - you can get one from Amazon. Just got mine the other day. 22 inch. Haven't had a chance to use it yet though. this is the one I got but there are others available. Far too little salt. Salt helps enhance flavors by activating more taste buds upon touch. The bottom left steak in the image actually hurt my soul to see how little salt it received.
When you say you're turning down (or up) the heat, the camera needs to show the FLAME instead of what you're doing; everyone knows how to turn the knob. We need to SEE the flame height.
Get a clue, bud. Everyone is not using the same burner, with the same BTU/pressure, the same amount of air intake, with a discada of the same thickness, and the same distance between the burner and discada. You need to learn your own equipment and figure it out. You probably shouldnt even be messing around with propane if this is a difficult concept for you. You need him to show you exactly how tall the flame needs to be to sear a steak? Or how low it needs to be to cook asparagus without burnung it? Have you never cooked before?
@thediscodish3912 dont worry about that guy. Your vidoes are fine. Anyone who cooks understands that every stove, grill, burner is different and you need to figure out your own equipment and learn to cook by feel. That guy just wants his hand held through the process, which is unreasonable.
Whatapanza! Good video and the food looked good. The video production was impressive. One tip though, season your meat at least a foot higher to get a more even coat of your spices.
The wok was invented in China over 2000 years ago. More than a 100 years ago The majority of rail workers in the Southwest were Chinese and were cooking their food with woks the workers around here did not have woks and started using plow disc. Learn something today.
U are a great cook. Thank you for a wonderful video ❤❤

I have one question i have one of those burners but I don't know how to turn it on can you show me how please? DO I NEED A MATCH?
Step one: Back away from the disco
What size is that Disk?
what heat source is that?
👊😋
I have the same question!

What No chile or guacamole rice onions
Not this time...but that sounds AWESOME!
I was with all the way until you messed it up with the asparagus.
You should've fried onions and peppers in the tallow
Hurts my back just watching the forward lean ugggghhh
Where to purchase a disco
Are you from Las Cruces?
That about 350 dollars worth of steaks nowadays.
You don't season both sides?
Bruh
You barely seasoned those steaks, you need more and more even spread
I can't stand rosemary.
thats a TAWA skillet...India people has been using that skillet for centuries ...u didnt invent anything..Disco, really, dude !..
A disco is all in how it’s made. They cook the same but are not the same
I stand corrected you're right thanks
