Hi, Tim! Thank you so much for your videos and energy! Your site is EXACTLY what I needed post 11/5. I have a new disco, and thanks to you, I have lots of inspiration. I have several good burner options, but have you considered a video using a kettle BBQ or kamado as a heat source? Looking forward to more episodes!
So stoked I found your videos! Looking forward to making this!
I’m getting one of these for Christmas and I’m using it on a rocket stove. I live in humid hot Florida. Where do you suggest that I store the thing at when not in use?
Thank you! Subscribing sir
U are a great cook. Thank you for a wonderful video ❤❤
Love your videos, I think I've watched them all. Appreciate you sharing!
Yout video and cooking skills have been shared. What a cook. What a video maker! Keep up the great work.
Nothing like a good homemade breakfast burrito any time of the day. That probably what I cook the most on my disc.
We love Chef Nite! Should’ve used some Mezcal as the background music. 🙃
Not my video, but I do know that U tube makes music selection very difficult
Saludos, Tim. You represent the Real Disco Cookin! 👊😝
I appreciate that!
Looks good but where's the chili pen deh ho' 🤣
Yum, that looks soooo good!! 👍
I wish I could see the recipe for your finishing sauce... You Rock !!!
So simple and yet so healthy... I wish I had smellavision... :P
Looks delicious bro! Love watching your videos keep up the good work!
Thank you! We will try our best! Peace
Is the disco cast iron ?
Great question! I really don't know...anyone out there know what type of steel or metal a disco is made of? I will find out and let everyone know!
@@thediscodish3912No, not cast iron. Cast iron is pure iron. Plow discs are made of steel, which is iron with some carbon mixed. Cast iron is brittle. Steel is malleable. Many discos are made from old plow disks after they are replaced.
I really appreciate you making such a different dish. Not everyday do you see liver and onions anymore. I absolutely love them... along with all the nasty bits people squirm over. I'm from the "whole animal" camp. The organs are just part of the entire animal. From hart, liver, lungs, kidneys, tongue... all of it. Would have loved to see you actually eat some!
Thank you so much! we all have different wayhis to cook, as well as different things we cook! Heart tacos will be coming up!
I love liver and onions, as do my boys. I do it a bit different as far as seasoning goes.
Hey you going to s season all your meat with metal shavings from that brush homes
Tim, thank you for all the great content. What are your thoughts on the discs that have a rim/ledge all the way around?
@BradButler-ky9vu thank you, Brad. I don't mind those at all. They keep things from falling off, and you can make soups and such while keeping it from splashing too much.
I got get off my lazy ass and use my Tembotusk! I been enjoying your vids and please keep up the good work!!!
Hungarian Paprika is an awesome spice... I have used it specifically on chicken and its a real flavor boost...
Looks Good Tim. Did you list the ingredients in the Ocho seasoning and slaw sauce? Thanks.
that looks so good! I need to break out my disco more often! I will be using it next week at least!
Wow. First dish I will cook in my discada 💪
Let me know how it turns out!!!
Is salt salt?
When you say you're turning down (or up) the heat, the camera needs to show the FLAME instead of what you're doing; everyone knows how to turn the knob. We need to SEE the flame height.
Great point. Thank you for letting us know. We will show the flame while turning up, or down as much as possible.
Get a clue, bud. Everyone is not using the same burner, with the same BTU/pressure, the same amount of air intake, with a discada of the same thickness, and the same distance between the burner and discada. You need to learn your own equipment and figure it out. You probably shouldnt even be messing around with propane if this is a difficult concept for you. You need him to show you exactly how tall the flame needs to be to sear a steak? Or how low it needs to be to cook asparagus without burnung it? Have you never cooked before?
@thediscodish3912 dont worry about that guy. Your vidoes are fine. Anyone who cooks understands that every stove, grill, burner is different and you need to figure out your own equipment and learn to cook by feel. That guy just wants his hand held through the process, which is unreasonable.
Right on ❤
is that an anthony bourdain shirt?
It is! I love this shirt.
Damn and now Im starving.... I wish you had smellavision....
@@johnhenryholiday4964 it smelled and tasted so good! You can make the same dish! Let me know how it goes!
As always, great stuff Tim! Nice to meet you Kate and Drew.
@seandavidson4273 Thank you for being a loyal follower Sean!
I haven't seen jerked chicken like that. It looks good too. Making me hungry. Thank for the change up and sharing more of the community.
@jeffbyrd7976 Thank you for watching. We are trying our best! The meal was extraordinary!
Is everyone ready for this season?!?!?
Yes! I just checked the other day to see if you'd put out any new videos and here you are! 👍🤩
That view though!! 😍
And it can be yours! It is listed on Zillow!
I saw some people selling Tamales up there the last time I was in that neck of the woods

Excellent job my friend!

whatever i have on hand usually. the celery was a tasty addition!
Looking good keep up the good cooking
Nice
My only criticism is that I can't taste it. Bravo!
Looks really good 👍🏻 👊🏼 🇺🇸 🇲🇽✝️
I found this video very interesting. Last fall I tried cooking chicharrones on a disco that my wife borrowed from her parents. They took forever to cook. I think the burner is equipped with a low pressure regulator. It would be helpful if you gave us some guidelines on temperature and how long it should take to cook on a disco. I know it is not an exact science, but a guideline would help someone know what to expect then make adjustments from there. I am not a cabbage fan, but it looked interesting. 😊. Also, what part of Northern NM are you at? I am in Los Lunas.
we all have our different recipes, i try my best to let everyone know estimated times and temps, but sometimes i get off track with the smells! I am in Velarde, NM!
Condensed milk?? I think you meant evaporated milk. Condensed has a lot of sugar. Cabbage? Interesting. Sounds good!
Have you ever done biscuits and gravy on the disco?
I would like to see this too.
@TheRedDeadTaco we talked about that at our last planning session! I am going to practice, and hopefully we can get it done on the Disco!
You gonna roast some green chile next? I see that roaster!
chile time is here! we will get a video of that soon!
I better hear ranchera music in the background for that vid 😂
I have a rusty disco that I’m gonna try to clean today and get it ready for cooking ,, and tips would be helpful,,
