That was a great video ! Not that Many of Us have a lathe though . EDIT : If You ( or , Anyone for that matter ) had a Webber grill or a wood smoker of the correct size You could just place the disc on the top of the grill ( then You could take the cooked food inside , if You wanted to . Looks like it would make cleaning easier too ) .
Daai ploegskaar gaan nog baie kos gaar maak. Julle moet hom geniet, ek geniet myne verskriklik.
😂 I had limited amounts of vinegar. You can use either or. It helps to remove the last of Iron oxide from the surface. Then you rinse and add your "seasoning" oil. It also gives the pan an awesome patina.
Why not just weld the holes shut? Wouldn't that be faster and easier? Plus the back would not have the bolts sticking out to poke holes in a carrying bag 👍
00:33 With the green grass under it that wasn't that forgotten....lol
Excellent sir
Old man engineering, and young man cooking, what an excellent combination. Great work guys!
We agree! 👍👍 Thank you!
Good build

You don’t need all that fancy machining to build one.
Great work good to see a old Colchester lathe again
Thank you David! Hope to make more videos of my dad using the lathe.
Very very good and interesting video
Glad you liked it
Great job man! I really enjoyed watching your video
Love the idea of the detachable legs. However, all other plow disc cookers I've seen they welded the holes shut instead of using bolts.
Very Nice Sir... We Approve 🇿🇦

Baie dankie Koos. Dit lyk my dit begin nou 'n tema te raak. My braai rooster se handvastels is ook hoefysters. Hy werk baie lekker!
Kundige vakman. Netjiese werk.
Baie dankie Eben!
I have made several of these and all the work you put in them is cool, I'm just not going to go thru all those steps to get the same end result.
Baie nice gedoen! Geniet julle uploads baie!
Baie dankie dat jy Kyk D P C!
Wel done
Dankie Kobus!
Nice thing. Wondering why you didn't just cut patches and weld the holes closed?
Great work.
Thank you Lance!
I thought the metal would have been thicker on those discs, I am more interested in rocket stoves built with 1/4" tubing.
чертовски круто
Great project👍 why vinegar & lemon juice? Stay Safe 👍🇬🇧

Thank you Ibodnano
Skottel👍
Why not just weld the holes shut? Cool to play with the lathe but….
This guy has a lot of time in on his hands to go as far as machining bolts just to fill a hole.
