No I just opened it up and put everything back together in order to get going.
Do you or anyone else have the 2 sec chain rattle on start up? I know it's oil pressure building up to the tensioners but I'm worried it's going to wear them eventually. 2012 A6 3.0t stage 1 034m at 430hp. Anyone solve this issue with an oil stabilizer?
I have they happen every once in a while. It used to happen more often until I started using Lucas High Mileage Oil Stabilizer. There's also two upgraded oil check valves that go under the pcv that people say resolves that also. They say some of the earlier 3.0t didn't have them.
@@cmidas3396 thank you brother for the reply. I guess I'll try the Lucas first. It's definitely the check valves because I only get it after the car sits a day. I know Audi says a 2 sec rattle Is ok but I don't feel it is long term
I've seen the oil check valve mod and heard of benefit to only using liquimoly leictlauf 40w @@JDJD-mw9rr

What nozzle size are you running?
I'm trying both that camd with the kit at different times. #4 and #6 nozzles.
Did you experience the epc and flashing check engine light with 034 e40 file usually 3rd and 4th gear 6900-7200rpm? I always get it with 034 no matter what I've changed plugs, cores, lpfp and hpfp used IE piston autotec piston changed coils air filters oil everything and nothing has solved it so I'm switching to jackal
No I haven't gotten any codes or anything. Not even a code for the injectors. The factory tune will adjust to diminishing hardware performance and not throw a code until it gets too out of spec then it will throw a code/Engine check light. I would highly suggest you send 034motorsport a log before switching because the issue is most likely a hardware issue and not the tune so in that case you can put that money towards the repair.
I have never had any issues like that. I’ve been running stage 2+ E40, TB 034 tune exclusively for 25k miles.
Have you not logged the car?
@Slow-6 I've logged it before but my laptops been down so I've been sending logs in to 034motorsport. I switched from the #4 to the #6 nozzle when I started doing this also. I think it's the fuel injectors like they are saying.
@cmidas3396 I sent them logs but now I have MPI and upgraded lpfp so they won't help. This was last year late last year it's all resolved now
