    what's up man! I thought it was just me but yes these cars have low top end power. Raced an N54 in Mexico last weekend and I got him from 40-90mph but pass that it just feels like the car slows down. Only have a ETS intake and thats it. I want to get a HX next.

      Honestly my car feels good in the top end with the ported charger. I'm just at the point of running out of fuel being that the ported charger is supplying more boost than the factory fuel system can supply fuel for in colder conditions.

      @@cmidas3396 could it also be in the area I live in? I'm in Utah so the air is thinner

      @livinwithmario4599 Oh yeah, that could be a factor. That and heat management.

      If you don't have a HX it will definitely affect your runs as it starts heat soaking. A good HX should greatly improve heatsoak and improve top end performance

      @tehgzizlauw1787 Yeah I have all the cooling goodies, Merc S6 HX, CWA150 and MercRacing divorced system. I was just saying that my intake temps went down even more with the S34 Intake which I didn't expect.

    You read plugs by the porcelain not the metal, the porcelain should be clean till just below the metal if your burning correctly, if your running rich it will be dirty up to the electrode, and you tell timing by looking on the metal strap there should be a noticeable line etched across it. White is alcohol running rich, black thays wet is oil black/ dark brown that is dry is rich gasoline, brownish red is rust from moisture meaning either head gasket or leaking brick.

      Yeah it was rust. The brick was leaking right over that port.

    hey man I was wondering how much money you got into this car tuning wise, and how much hp is it pushing to the wheels

      I'm not sure on either to be honest. I plan on dynoing it at some point.

    Bro serious question … I’ve been wondering why nobody has looked into a hellcat style or shaker style hood scoop/vents that would help cool the supercharger. From what I’ve seen there’s not much being done besides upgrades Hx/pump and squeeze a little more by divorcing and carbon fiber intake .034 states that the factory cores are already maxing out the available space inside our model of supercharger so not gonna ever see upgrade for that. Even methanol cooling wouldn’t help with intake temps , only recovery period improvement . AC is shut off during WOT so even a killer chiller only helps with recovery. I honestly think you’re the exact guy to pioneer this new territory. You’ve got all the cooling mods that we could wish for. We already use Porsche and hemi throttle bodies, so why not modify our hoods to fit a factory mopar scoop. I would specifically use something from a supercharged trim challenger/charger. Don’t be afraid of the purist fanboys who will call it an abomination. The real enthusiasts will worship you bro please

      Yeah I thought about doing it but I'm wondering hiw effective it would be and pros vs cons like too much air creating a high pressure zone in the engine bay area which could raise the front of the car and negatively affect handling & braking. I'm actually looking into doing a methanol kit but more for fueling. The problem I've seen so far is that the traditional setups act as a cooling method because the sprayer is mounted behind the throttle body before the supercharger blades so the incoming methanol gets compressed & heated up and probably mostly if not all evaporates before going into the inatke ports so it may not act as fuel unless you mount sprayers after the blades. As far as hood scoops there are others that would fit also and might look decent on rhe car which is something I might look into at some point. Maybe I'll grab an extra hood from the junkyard and play around with it.

      @@cmidas3396dude you’re the man ! I propose something from a charger of some kind because they have similar front profile, hood dimensions, and do come in factory supercharged spec. The hellcat seems to make most sense for design ideas imo. Thanks for your reply legit feels good to know someone else has considered it with that much detail

    • @cmidas3396
      @cmidas3396  5 місяців тому

      @Pwnulolumad The biggest issue is the heat source is inside the charger so it's nore effective to use a water methanol kit injecting before the rotors to cool the rotors down therefore also bringing intake temps down substantially.

      Alright so there’s a really good video from the official Audi aero wind tunnel that shows how the design works. Race Louvers is a channel that has a privately owned wind tunnel and shows a high speed video test of an S4 with racing vented hood. I have found that CAP has vented hood options for various c7 models. What the chargers and etron have in common is they don’t have an open grill like the RS hexagons, they’re solid front almost like teslas for aero, and have factory designed ram air ducts / air curtains on outsides of front bumper . Chargers even have the rear bumper air holes to alleviate slow flow zones on rear axle area. And to the concern about liftoff…. Maybe it wouldn’t be ricer at that level to add more downforce. All the mopar guys add that solid ducktail spoiler because they’re for “drag” style setup. That design would apparently suck on a track with turns( seconds add up each lap for time attack races ) with turns from what I’ve read but wouldn’t be noticed during spirited driving on daily commute Edit: I’m not sure if your car is on lowering springs, or if it has the “street shield” under trays. Both of those would increase your downforce when compared to a stock setup.

    I went port injection and a 515lph lpfp and all new fuel lines 034motorsports is working on a bandaid they want you reliant on them man. It is said they don't want to mess with MPI systems because they don't make it and that shows they are putting profit above advancements, you can buy rs molde injectors already the bottle neck is the HPFP not the injectors and there is no pump available that will solve that port injection is the only option that will give you more then another 50hp 034 is not pushing the limits they wanna sell you 800$ injectors

    • @cmidas3396
      @cmidas3396  6 місяців тому +1

      So you went port injection on the C7? Someone told me that RS injectors barely add fuel. RS injectors are a direct fit?

      When you say $800 injectors I hope you don't mean PER INJECTOR 🤣034 would be out of their minds doing that

      I think OP is saying that he installed the RS7 lpfp? I’ve read conflicting comments / threads saying that it has higher flow than the A7…. But other people say that the A/S/RS have no difference in lpfp (below the rear seat )

      @@Pwnulolumad Yeah I have heard that too. A few people have upgraded their lpfp with aftermarket pumps in the stock basket. I almost did it but logs have shown that my hpfp is what needs more capacity.
