I use to be in the gym for 3-4 hours doing full body 6 days a week when I first started. This was so helpful because you’re right life does happen. I was missing time with my kids and the mom guilt really set in. Im down to about 2 hours 4-5 days a week.
1hr and 30 minutes is my time its better then having a short workout that does nothing but honestly everyone is different whatever keeps you going its should be like a activity that you enjoy going to
I have always been a person who follows programs on tv or UA-cam. How do I create a program for myself so i can focus more i feel like that's the reason why i never stick to them?
If someone has a lot of weight to lose should their focus be on calories and not macros. should you start weight lifting right away of just do cardio at the beginning til you lose a bit of weight.thks btw I love how you explain things.
Should focus more on calories and try to keep a moderate to high protein intake as to avoid losing any existing muscle, and strength training should take precedence with added walking for cardio so you don’t wreck your joints early on with runs and whatnot
You mentioned time of day not mattering too much when it comes to exercising. So is the whole idea of exercising first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, because your body will use stored fat for fuel not true?

No hate at all, love what you do but it seems you push more lifting on a plan vs what us newbies do(cardio or workouts based on YT/IG videos.
