    Eric, you sir are changing my life. Thank you! Started really putting my mind, and getting my diet and lifestyle changes going last week. I started off at I'm 30 Y.O, 270LBs 5'7 and now exactly a week later at 10/23/2024, I am 262 on a high protein 1800 Calorie diet. Your wisdom gives me alot of solace and keeps me in check.     I eat less during the day time, then darkness falls and I want to eat my pantry :(

I can,t tell you how many times i,ve gone to other people wanting to know ..how many calories,how much protein,complex carbs,fat,ect.and seemed to me no one could give me an answer!....Intermittent diet does,nt work for me because my work schedule is different everyday! The old fashion way used to work for me!

      I eat chicken breasts, salmon, and tuna. I don't know if you watched the video by Eric on how to figure out your carbs, fats and protein. Also, I drink a gallon of water a day.

    Well Eric, I just found your channel. Thank you for simplifying the diet plan. I've been overwhelmed with all the different diets, times, etc. I am just going to stick to calories and protein, and try to keep my eating times about the same. I hadn't thought about why eating times would be so important, but that makes a lot of sense! I only want to lose about 10 to 15lbs (if I have more lean muscle on me and less fat then the number doesn't matter too much), but I have some consistent work to get back there. Thanks 🙂

    I watched your calorie counting video, so I had a question for things that have servicing sizes like 4 slices of turkey lunch meat is a serving do you still want to weigh? Or another example like a bagel, if one bagel is a “serving” do you still need to weigh the bagel?

      Hormones can affect calories in vs calories out, but it all comes down to being in a calorie deficit for your body.

    Your videos are perfectly informative and engaging and I really like learning from you. I have a question I can’t find the answer to! I am trying to reach a protein intake goal of 135g using your calorie counter, and I’m a vegetarian. I wondered if it’s okay to drink two protein shakes a day? It seems impossible to meet my goal without doing so. I’m eating two eggs and two whites omelettes, greek yogurt, peanut butter, lentils, tempeh/tofu and protein flax milk literally daily and It looks like I have to eat all of these protein heavy things every day just to get to 2/3 of my goal.

      A month is WAY too short to see any difference first off. You need to be thinking long term second you cannot spot reduce fat.

    The leaner you get the harder it gets when it intermittent fasting. it still works for me personally when you compare it to eating small meals throughout the day. When I eat small meals throughout the day it opens the floodgates and I get hungrier

    I’m not sure if you’ve addressed this before, but I’ve noticed there is a large amount of people that say no adult should be eating only 1,200 Cals. Because it’s just too little. Do you agree? I’m 5’3, 163lbs and I’ve been doing 1,200-1,300 cals. But eating things I have found that I like. If someone is able to stick to it without feeling starving all the time, do you think that range is ok or too little? Thanks!!!💜

    I thought you said we needed to eat a 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight? If I weigh 225 lbs but want to weigh 150 lbs. will 1500 calories a day and 150 grams of protein work for me like this video says? Or should I be having more protein because I weigh a lot more. Thanks

      No brother u also have to count the cal in the protein which is 150x4=600 cal
      There is 4 cal in each gram of protein

    Okay so what’s the current weight for this goal weight?? Bc I watched your other video about what my calorie deficit should be and I didn’t do goal weight x 12 and current weight x 1.
    I did GWx10 & Protein CWx.8
    225x10=2250 calories and 260x.8=208g protein
    Did I do it wrong? Should I change my goal weight 200?

    I'm a little confused... when trying to figure out how many grams of protein to eat on this video you stated to do your "goal body weight" but in a previous video you stated to do your "current body weight" ? Would you mind helping me out with that? Because my Goal body weight would be 150lbs. My current body weight is 194lbs 😳

    I think your calculation of protein is off. I think it should be your goal weight x 0.85 = grams of protein
