This is what I needed. The guilt about resting is so strong.

“What are you a dog trying to earn a treat?!” 🤣🤣🤣
I laughed a little too hard at that.
Great video though. It took me a while to unlearn that taking rest days will ruin my progress.

Thank you. Question: is it important to lose water weight? Is there a way to do it naturally?

What is your stance on ruining metabolism, Should I/we be doing maintenance calorie days periodically to keep metabolism high..? If I don't will I just have to keep eating less and less and less over time?

Wowwww, STOP YELLING AT ME!!! This video is a sign that I need to take rest days a little more seriously. I'm just recovering from, what I'm personally calling it, a burnout. I was working out for about 5 months straight, barely 2 days off every week, pushing at least 250lbs squats, pulling 60lbs with my back and just going crazy for no apparent reason. I was exhausted and had to force myself to take a 2 week break from the gym because I was always tired, sore for days, and I had to fight myself to get to the gym some days.
This was a very timely video🤧 thank you

Me too, ive been pushing the limits with my energy, hitting the gym even after a 9-10 hour work day, and now im just burnt out. And, not seeing as much change on the scale as i was putting effort in losing weight. Need to tone it down with workouts, and just be more active during the day.

If my only form of exercise is 2.2-3 miles of brisk walking everyday, do I still need rest days of skipping those walks? Thanks!

Your so real love the swearing 😂 i like to do a light recovery viedo like 10 mins amd stretch on one rest day and then other rest day i light to go on a light 20in walk is that ok i dont do to much the rest of my rest days besides home with my son dishes light cleaning .i do 2 to 3 20 to 30 strength workouts a week and i do cardio /toning workouts plus walking 3 of those days as well and 2 rest days is that ok or do i need more rest days .. so basickly work out 5 days a week .. 3 days rest then 2 days rest ..are 3 days in a row to much ..i dont go hardcore all 3 days i got a get into it first day then abit longer or harder the next then strength and walk the next day then rest then a longer cardiotoning workout then next day strengrh walk then another rest day

So I went from a 4 day to 5 day a week weight training schedule Monday Wednesday Friday I do lower body and just focus on compound exercises then Tuesday and Thursday upper body also focusing on compound exercises. I removed all the junk volume exercises from my workouts and they went from being 2 hrs long to know about 1 hr. Is this workout schedule sound ok or is it too much?
Thanks Robert your videos have helped me so much!

Great video. I was doing yoga 7 days a week, and since I switched to your Metabolic strength workouts 3 days a week, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted. (no pun intended! ha) I am having problems trying to get enough protein. I eat yoghurt, cheese, meat, nuts, but know I'm still falling way short. What else can I add without adding a lot of calories??

    • @Bunnie333

Cottage cheese !! Turkey meat!! Low calorie all natural protein bars, or make an extra protein shake with some fruit or coffee for the morning always works for me. Or for a night snack(if ur having a sweet tooth) I amke a fruit smoothie. Hope this helps

Is it pointless for me to do strength training when I have bad insomnia? I see everywhere that sleep is super important when working out but I just can’t do that right now. I don’t want to workout and not see the fruits of my labour bcos of my insomnia

In your opinion if I weight train for 1 hr tues- fri, and on weekends I work cleaning 8 hrs a day in a huge facility, the whole time I'm on my feet walking around(haven't tracked my steps yet), and I do nothing on Mondays as a rest day, do you think that's an alright schedule?
Absolutely love your videos, I check your Instagram alot and have learned so much!
