I have a 2011 300C since new, currently at 169,000 miles and never had any of these problems. Over the years I have replaced a water pump, some sway bar bushings and heater door actuator…..thats it. Its one of the best cars i’ve ever owned.
I owned a 2016 300C AWD with the 3.6 from 40k miles to 100k miles. Only repair it needed in that time was a $800 drive shaft. The rubber in the carrier bearing dries out and causes a vibration. You can only purchase the driveshaft as an entire assembly. Currenty drive a 2018 300C RWD with 29k miles on it. Bought it with 20k. Just oil changes so far. I own a 2017 Chrysler 300S with 235,000 km on it, and I drive it in the scorching heat of 55 degrees Celsius in Saudi Arabia all the time and have never had a problem, I just replaced the external oil pump sensor and the A/C cooling sensor because the A/C was slow to cool down during the extremely hot summer. Honestly, it is the greatest car the US has ever made.
On a 2012 300 with 200k heavy use. I’ve replaced thermostat. Radiator, steering reservoir, and engine oil cooler, almost all weeks apart after 200k miles. But again nothing was done but regular oil changes before that. Up until now this has been out of pocket. The dealer due to recalls replaced the alternator. Also transmission software along with other updates. If you have a recall especially for the alternator go do it. Else it will catch fire. These cars are great imo but all the parts I replace were due to leaks being that the parts were plastic and over time they tend to wear more. You can catch them on time and save yourself the headache and surprise. I recommend changing the oil cooler for an all aluminum body component. Also make sure you keep up with the level of the power steering and check for leaks before any damage to the steering pump itself. If over heating and you have to refill constantly your leak is most likely the radiator or like I said the engine oil cooler. Besides that. Enjoy your mopars 😅

I solved my a/c odor problem in my 2006 Scion with undiluted white vinegar in a spray bottle. Smelly A/C are common in many cars. The trick is to find how to get the vinegar onto the evaporator.
if you run the ac without the recirc on, the water cleans it out and the odor goes away after about a week, makes the ac run harder and more water drains out. I had the delership do the cleaning and coating but that only lasted 3 months.
Hello, I have a 2013 Chrysler 300 and it has 4 points out of the five that you mention, the only one missing is the last one for the AC and the check engine came on. I have already spent more than three thousand dollars and it doesn't look good. They fix it and as soon as After 100 miles, the check engine comes on again, they have already changed injectors twice, spark plugs, intake covers up and down, catalytic sensors on all four, fuel pumps I love the car that's why I won't get rid of it 😢
I have a 2014 Chrysler 300. I keep getting a "Service Keyless System" although I replaced the key fob battery. Both of my fobs say Dodge on them. Any links or video anyone can share?
There are a ot more common, more serious problems that the 300 has, like failing front suspension, value head dropping and body panel brackets failing, and we wont even go to the throttle problems or failing turbo on the CRD. I love this car but it can be a real money pit.
Are these all on the regular 300? Does this apply to the 2nd gen SRT 300's? I'm looking at those and am really wanting one but I don't want it to fall apart haha

I want reply with your answer to the following for Chrysler 300C 5.7L V8 Hemi, 2014 model United Arab Emirates: While parking in reverse the car camera is showing wrong opposite directions in the screen. Do you know why and how to resolve this issue or should i take to the showroom itself to repair it. What do you suggest the safety cheap and best tyre for all seasons for Chrysler 300C 5.7L V8 Hemi, 2014 model to be used in United Arab Emirates. Can you send by courier also if needed. Please suggest with full details with prices. What do you suggest the safest oil (with number) and filter service change for all seasons every 10K Kilometers to be used. Since Chrysler is using MOPAR brand what is your best suggestion. What is the best brake pad and suspensions to be used. Is it necessary to use only MOPAR brand. I need your advice. Can you send by courier also if needed. Please suggest with full details with prices.
He's talking about PCM/TCM Software Updates. A lot of people are saying it either didn't help or made it worse or the issue would come back. I decided not to touch mine, sometimes it shifts rough from stop or at low speed
it's a cool car but overall the thing is a lump with poor visibility. After getting it I have learned to appreciate smaller vehicles. I think that the first generation was much more stylish. they could have at least put some trim along the side of the car or something its just sort of blah. suspension issues are common and mine needs a new catalytic converter. i'm not sure if it is worth it or if i should just get something else.
2019 Chrysler 300 Touring here! I’ve had a few big issues, had to replace fuel rails and injectors! Also had to replace the oil cooler! Other than that I love my baby, she’s a champ for sure.
Those are simple fixes. But as I trying to find out more about them I hear that the engines blow up if transmission fails it has serious electrical problems. That's what I thought you were going to address. So I'm a little disappointed in the video
i have a 300, most of my problems involve with the cooling system failing, went through 2 radiators already, and the heater core smells like its also failing, the coolant reservoir also had to be replaced, im fed up with this car.
Looking at buying a 2012 Chrysler 300 Limited AWD with luxury trim package available at a local dealer. Only 23k miles (supposedly a grandma that only went to church and grocery store) super low miles, but should I be worried about getting vehicle service contract on it due to age and failing electronics? I have money to pay regular service, but would be worried about $3-$6k for major engine or transmission issues.
I would be very concerned about future electronic issues. I bought my Chrysler 300 C which is a 2014 when it had 56,000 miles on it and it now only has 64,000 miles on it almost 5 years later and I am having electronic issues. But only after hitting a construction barrel but so far cannot be proven to the insurance company that it is connected to the collision. If I were you, I would go with a Volvo. I never had an issue like this with my Volvo that I had for 14 years that I bought used with 56,000 miles on it. Seems to be a trend with me.
We love our 2014 300c it's got the HEMI, AWD and all the bells and whistles. We bought it with just under 100,000 miles and have been driving it over 3 years 40,000miles with only general maintenance and one $400 repair. If I didnt need to replace my truck next, I'd seriously consider another Chrysler 300
I got my 300c from the dealer at 100k miles, im at 110k right now and these are all the issues ive had in the last 7 months (I drive alot) -radiator leak ($1200) under warranty - "free" ---- I feel like this one was cause I was using the paddle shifters in cold weather before the car was warm, not a car guy but didn't notice it until that -radiator fan not working, car gets up to 230F and cools back down to 200 ($120) under warranty - "free" -trunk latch constantly opening by its self ($100 (cant remember cause of man hours)) under warranty - "free" -cruise control button decides when it wants to work, found a common fix but it didnt work for me (massage the cruise on / off button, sometime it gets stuck, the video was in a first gen) ($141) -air circulator doesnt work, google said bad humidity sensor, will bring it up next time im at the dealer -one last thing is after it got warm out, my startup sounds horrible, even when it gets back down to about 50F at night the startup is just bad if I dont wait 12 hours, I assume its the temp but man it sucks. -If you don't care about speed and you just want a nice comfortable car, I wouldn't get anything else because the people on the street love it, I always catch people turning around to look at my car. Just be ready to have a few common repairs every once in a while -I love the car, I have the 2013 300c John Varvatos Limited edition. Its a v6 8 speed, didnt care about the engine when I got it but now I really want a v8, im hoping by the time I get the car to around 180k miles it paid off / enough saved up for a hemi swap, I love the car and with how I drive it wont be much longer till I hit that
I got a 2015 Chrysler 300 and I do most of the work If it’s basic. Things that I’ve done to the car omg it’s a long list . Starter, rotors, pads, engine oil cooler housing, fuel pump/filter,thermostat and now water pump Ik I’m forgetting something if anything like tires and air filter change oil omg this car takes a lot of my money.
+Christian Fuentes One of the easiest ways to determine if a vehicle is flex fuel is to look at the gas cap. On a flex fuel vehicle, it's yellow, and printed with the fuels that can be used. A label on the inside of the fuel door will also indicate the fuel type.
2014 300c 5.7 Hemi owner...my issues #3 transmission shift lag at the start of 2nd gear #5 HVAC system oder Other problems- - CATALYTIC CONVERTER A smells like sulfur or rotten eggs with hard acceleration -SUSPENSION high amount of rattling when driving on anything other than a freshly paved road
How about bad lifters? How about radiators going bad? How about rear view camera stop working? How about clicking AC regulators? How about the ABS module going bad?
Chrysler motors are not direct injection I work at a dealership and I have never seen carbon build-up as an issue only on the 3.7 leaders in the Jeep liberty.
Unfortunately, American cars are not made very well. I had a Volvo for 14 years and only replaced it because it had over 190,000 miles. I should’ve had it diagnosed more specifically. Actually, I should’ve had a new motor put into it and kept it. Unfortunately I purchased a used Chrysler 300 C which was in great condition. But now having issues with dash lights of ABS, traction stability, AWD Service and scan codes indicating left rear wheel sensor issue even though I hit a construction barrel on the front right. It makes no sense. The Dealership says that my car needs to be ripped up from the inside to diagnose the lack of continuity from the side wire harness to the ABS module. Another shop told me that this could be done from the exterior. Who knows what they’re talking about here? I am a girl on my own. And we know how that is. Could anyone tell me what they think I should do? My insurance company says they will only pay out for the electrical repair if it is proven that the collision caused the issue. I have already paid $150 in diagnostics and do not want to put money into a sinking ship if that’s what it is. Thankfully, I was able to get them down to $150 for the incomplete diagnosis because they tried to charge me $325. Too many hands in the pot so to speak. So right now the car seems to be driving OK but the lights on the dash have been on since I hit that construction barrel. I did have one evening right after I received the car back when the right turn signal was hyper clicking but that seems to have gone away for some odd reason. I am afraid that if I let them continue with this repair for which they have given me an estimate of over $900 even though they don’t know exactly what’s wrong with it. It’s obvious I need to go elsewhere but I don’t know what I’m dealing with. I’d like to take a mechanics class and maybe that would help. I did find a local two-person shop that tells me that it should not need to be ripped up. However, the dealership insists that they need to rip up the entire inside of the car and splice wires. I have read online that wires need to be soldered. Any input from anyone would be appreciated.

I owned a 2013 Motown edition 300 had absolutely no issue until they crashed into me and totaled it. Now I own a 2020 5.7 hemi 300 S with 35k miles and everything smooth so far !!
I used to have problem #2 but it been fixed.. but problem #5 is killing me, I tried many thing even at one point I replaced the evaporator but the problem came back later.....
Have you tried applying cleaner/desinfectant coating on evaporator coil from Dodge that he's talking about? Mine's killing me too..
I solved my a/c odor problem in my 2006 Scion with undiluted white vinegar in a spray bottle. Smelly A/C are common in many cars. The trick is to find how to get the vinegar onto the evaporator.
Thanks for sharing, I have that steering Column Squeak. Can I just use WD40 on it or use a lithium grease lubricant?
Grease is better… wd40 is only a very short temporary fix
I had that squeak last winter when it was bitterly cold.
if you run the ac without the recirc on, the water cleans it out and the odor goes away after about a week, makes the ac run harder and more water drains out.
They fix it and as soon as After 100 miles, the check engine comes on again, they have already changed injectors twice, spark plugs, intake covers up and down, catalytic sensors on all four, fuel pumps I love the car that's why I won't get rid of it 😢
Confidence and experience grows.

True as heck, legit I do as much maintenance as possible, save so much money too
I have a 2014 Chrysler 300. I keep getting a "Service Keyless System" although I replaced the key fob battery. Both of my fobs say Dodge on them. Any links or video anyone can share?
Did they fix the Chrysler TIPM issues?
What about the autolock when driving feature mine stop working
There are a ot more common, more serious problems that the 300 has, like failing front suspension, value head dropping and body panel brackets failing, and we wont even go to the throttle problems or failing turbo on the CRD. I love this car but it can be a real money pit.
Are these all on the regular 300? Does this apply to the 2nd gen SRT 300's? I'm looking at those and am really wanting one but I don't want it to fall apart haha
How much are all these things to fix?
@@Tanner_Teves I got a 5.7 and honestly I’ve put a good amount of money into it
@@Mr-oi6gj The 5.7 is a lot more money to maintain.
@@Mr-oi6gj Ha! You got that massive motor over the front suspension. Your one saving grace would be that you don't live in state with garbage road maintenance. I've got a 5.7 and my front suspension will get me maybe 2 years before it begins to rapidly deteriorate.
chrysler 300 2011. I have trouble turning off the vehicle (vehicles not parked) where can I find information to check sensors or modules ??? Thank you
What if there’s a “gritty” feeling when turning at low speeds or a stand still from lock to lock. There’s no play in the steering wheel.
wait so the Pentastar 3.6L is direct injected?
hey i have a question about my 2001 dodge ram 1500 and because of that there is not many videos are out there on a heater hose on a dodge truck and mine is cracked and leaking hot coolant wondering if you guys could make another quick and awesome video about the heater hose on any 2nd gen ram

What refrigerant does the 2011 chrysler 300 take?
So I have a 2013 Chrysler 300 base model I got with like 120,000 miles and now theres 131,000 I've done oil changes but not for the transmission they say not to mess with it since there's high milage there's no issue with it what do y'all recommend on changing the transmission fluid or should I just leave it like that
Scotty Kilmer would say change it out and keep your old fluid that way if it starts slippin you can put the old fluid back In.
Don't mess with it if it's never been changed. If it has been changed before, it's ok to change it again.
Aye bro how much u hit rn because I’m thinking of getting one at 100k miles u think it’s worth it?!? I heard these bad boys last 200+, If u take care of em…
Mine stinks sometimes smh how do fix that so called evaporator core??
Why my backup camera sometimesworks
Forgot about loads of suspension issues
Had to have the radio changed out. Electrical was my issue but still under warranty
I have a question about my chrysler 300 can I get some help
My dad self started the car but when we went to move it he forgot to press push again to actually move the car and he pressed the gas and it started making this ticking noise after opening the door what does that mean
Hello, im Starting to have the issue #2. Im trying to avoid any dealer work bc of how expensive they are. Is it something i could go and ask if its under warranty or you guys have a video on how to lubricate it yourself? Is really annoying. 🙃
Are the 2012 worth buying , are there any other issues to worry about.
There shouldn't be, I had a 2014 v6 chrysler 300 no issues.
But I think before 2015? It was still chrysler/dodge and after it was re name new owners with FIAT and of course 2021 they are now call stellantis.

I want reply with your answer to the following for Chrysler 300C 5.7L V8 Hemi, 2014 model United Arab Emirates:
While parking in reverse the car camera is showing wrong opposite directions in the screen.

@Speed Tube BS. I seen fords go over 200k
Specifically, where can I get a transmission chip or help with that?
He's talking about PCM/TCM Software Updates. A lot of people are saying it either didn't help or made it worse or the issue would come back. I decided not to touch mine, sometimes it shifts rough from stop or at low speed
I usually start off slow on first starts. 2014 300 rwd base. Only rough shift on first starts. Haven’t updated, but it’s on 140k.
it's a cool car but overall the thing is a lump with poor visibility.
BINGO - squeak on the steering shaft seal. THANK YOU
2019 Chrysler 300 Touring here! I’ve had a few big issues, had to replace fuel rails and injectors! Also had to replace the oil cooler!
Other than that I love my baby, she’s a champ for sure.
Don’t forget the camshaft and lifters
LIFTERS😫
I had lifter problems too
Those are simple fixes.

65 k none of these problems appear on my car, 2016 300 s, had a bad wheel bearing.
@@Rebelmusedesign This information is priceless thanks so much
My 2017 Chrysler had 59,500 and need to replace the Oil filter/coolant assembly. 🤦
I got my 300c from the dealer at 100k miles, im at 110k right now and these are all the issues ive had in the last 7 months (I drive alot)
-radiator leak ($1200) under warranty - "free" ---- I feel like this one was cause I was using the paddle shifters in cold weather before the car was warm, not a car guy but didn't notice it until that
-radiator fan not working, car gets up to 230F and cools back down to 200 ($120) under warranty - "free"
-trunk latch constantly opening by its self ($100 (cant remember cause of man hours)) under warranty - "free"
-cruise control button decides when it wants to work, found a common fix but it didnt work for me (massage the cruise on / off button, sometime it gets stuck, the video was in a first gen) ($141)
-air circulator doesnt work, google said bad humidity sensor, will bring it up next time im at the dealer
-one last thing is after it got warm out, my startup sounds horrible, even when it gets back down to about 50F at night the startup is just bad if I dont wait 12 hours, I assume its the temp but man it sucks.
-If you don't care about speed and you just want a nice comfortable car, I wouldn't get anything else because the people on the street love it, I always catch people turning around to look at my car. Just be ready to have a few common repairs every once in a while
-I love the car, I have the 2013 300c John Varvatos Limited edition.
Luckily the only one of these problems I've had in the past 5 years is the window regulator.
Yes I did actually a very good car thanks can you compare this with Cadillac CTS same year no turbo ? Please ?
Door panel peelback near the windows...
My only problems with my 2016 300s was fuel pump at 125,000 miles and thermostat housing at 100,000 miles so far
My 2005 magnum had that squeaky steering back when it was just few years old lol all those years and still not solved lol

How can I tell if my chrysler 300 is flex fuel or not flex fuel
+Christian Fuentes One of the easiest ways to determine if a vehicle is flex fuel is to look at the gas cap. On a flex fuel vehicle, it's yellow, and printed with the fuels that can be used. A label on the inside of the fuel door will also indicate the fuel type.
Throw some grain alcohol in the tank and see if the motor lasts! 🤣
Carbon build can be avoided with a nice catch can also.

How does anyone not see a big bright orange traffic barrel?
I have a 2012 Chrysler 300 s awe 5.7. I actually feel like my car is the one in the video as it both looks the same and has 3 or 4 of these issues😂
