- This video shows you how to upgrade your halogen headlights to LED on the 2011-2020 Chrysler 300 this procedure should also cover the 2011-2020 Dodge Charger as well. Plug and play install that only takes about 15 minutes to do. Headlights were purchased on Amazon below is a link to these exact headlights. The 2016-2020 use the 9005 bulbs and the 2011-2015 use the 9012 bulbs.

Just got done installing LED bulbs on my 300. I went with a different manufacturer but this video showed me how easy it would be to do. Much appreciated sir.
For the dust covers. Make sure you pay attention to the size of the little pieces that lock it in place. 3 are the same, 1 is larger.

I have to re-do mine...went out for a night drive and the lights were all messed up looking, not really lighting up the road in front of me. I guess you have to put them in a certain way. Put the stock ones back in for now and will try the white bulbs again tomorrow paying attention to how I put them in.

I have a 2019 touring did you have any problem with the bean aiming directly??? They say it's supposed to be at 3 and 9 O'clock???

A most excellent video, that project was way to easy, no beat up hands, no getting angry and no swearing. My 2016 300c is due for an up grade, this has helped me big time.
2019 Limited here, I was looking at the lightning dark as I’ve heard good reviews over other brands but I couldn’t find any videos with them in a 300. Gonna order these ones today.

Update: they look amazing and work perfect, you might need to adjust them lower because people will think you have your brights on haha. Only issue I have is they flicker when I have my volume high (but that’s from aftermarket subwoofers, not they light’s fault)

Great video! I bought some but the headlights don’t point towards the road. The drivers side is casting toward the right side and it’s dark at night.
My driver side is doing the same thing it's dark on the driver side

Yes I believe so.
Really likes the look for the headlights but would prefer the Halogen more yellow light cuts thru fog a little better. Here to tell ya looks really sharp.

They were off by a little bit
Did you have to adjust the lights in any way? I bought some different ones and the beam patterns is off. i had to use a small allen wrench to adjust the sides and its frustrating cause it's still not even lol.
They were off by just a little bit but I never adjusted them.
Yeah I ended up buying these and while I liked that the ring was fixed and not adjustable, I noticed it doesn't fit anyway except how it was found so the LED placement was not 9 and 3, but rather 10/4 or 11/5
I have a 2017 300S, I purchased a pair and I was not able to get the cover to sit on there correctly and they burned out. Im going to give these a try, I like how everything looks like a perfect match, the fogs and the strip. Im buying this one now.
Yeah that’s why I went with these because they match the fog lights plus they are the same size as the original bulbs that way you can get the cover back on and not allow moisture or dirt and debris in.
And you didn't have to get a conversion kit either, right? Good job! I love the way it looks 👍🏻
@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE Update: They are in and look freeking amazing, they fit like OEM. I was able to get the covers back on with no problems at all. Never again am I going with HID, they would always blow out one at a time then the other would blow. No more them days are gone. These match up just perfectly with the DRL's and Fogs. So far I have not experienced any flickering.

Hye brother i just got 1 thing to ask so these leds are low and high beam right? Do they come with any warranty?
Not really sure on the warranty and yes they are low and high beam.
300 uses a shutter system in the projector housing to switch to high beam, same bulbs used

I have got 2 different brands off Amazon led light both flicker then shut off completely. I have a chrysler 300c platinum, any suggestions I really want to upgrade my lights too brighter ones . ?
What year is yours? If it’s a 2015 or older you will most likely need canbus decoders like these amzn.to/3J5z8f2 and that should take care of your issue.

I used these bulbs on my 15 and I don’t like the pattern. Sealights instructions say that they need to be at 3 and 9 to work the best, did you adjust them at all and did you aim them?

I just installed mine and I had to adjust them to be at 3 and 9 or at least close to it.

Yes these will work in your 2020 Chrysler 300.

Yes it will be the 9005 bulb.

Will this fit a 2015 chrysler 300s. Ive had a few leds in the past that ive had issues with requiring a canbus coder. Will i need it with these leds?
Yes these will fit your 2015 300. You should not need a coder mine is a 2016 300 and I have had no issues just plug and play and your good to go.

I bought the exact same led lights for my 2017 Chrysler 300 but now I started to notice condensation forming inside the right headlight unit did this happened to you ???
No I haven’t had any issues. Did you make sure the cap is sealed all the way and o ring is in good shape.
Same here.. I have a 2013 Chrysler 300 and I’m noticing the right dust cover for some reason doesn’t stay sealed for long after you screw it on in the lock position.. I’m thinking about dropping the bumper to make sure the headlight assembly is screwed in tight enough to keep the right dust cover on tight so it doesn’t unscrew itself off causing condensation to get into the headlight assembly distorting the overall look of the entire headlight.. I have no issues with the left headlight assembly at all. Any further suggestions on how to keep the right dust cover seal shut?
I have a Chrysler 300 2015, I bought the 9005 led and it worked for about 5 seconds and then flickered and went off; I hope the same doesn't happen with the 9012; do you recommend any specific brand and what about Watts? what is the max that we can install?
You will probably need a canbus decoder some of the 2015 and earlier models have issues when switching to led and this usually cures the problem heres a link amzn.to/3XyUt4w

This doesn't cause errors with the canbus system?
No issues on my 2016 just plug and play I know that some people with earlier model years had to buy the canbus decoder.

Although my daugter has since sold the car she never had any issues with the lights.

No sorry haven’t had any issues with them. So not really sure.
Why didn't you test it to see if the fan works and the light so we could see the fan works and the light before a completely in stall.
The fans do work I just figured nobody wanted to see it on camera. There was a couple parts in the video that shows the new lights working.

I changed the headlight bulb because my lights are so dim . The issue I have now is that the led strip in the headlight is super dim now and I don’t know how to fix it
