This guy is lying to you. There’s a reason they have the worst reputation in the US. Buy one but expect issues early on, especially water pump failure which is the first issue to appear most of the time. Also, stay away from pre-2015 models.
With that said, I’ll be picking my 2020 300s soon after my 300c blew up.

All these yt supposed experts sound like the writers I used to work with, talk you into spending every penny you ever had in a shit box but couldn't fix a damn thing themselves less than shop time rates so they put them in the front.

I just bought a 2014 300 c with 87k on it. Has all the bells and whistles on it. I haven't got to drive it too much but so far I love the thing! It doesnt get the best gas mileage compared to my previous vehicles though (however, I am 20, and may or may not have a lead foot!). It is a very comfortable car for taller people (I am 6'1"). It has plenty of power when it needs to but it is by no means uncontrollable. The steering is smooth as all get out in the AWD version. Although the ride is mostly smooth, as the video said, it does have some issues with suspension, and is starting to show through. The Uconnect and the navigation system have yet to give me trouble (knock on wood). The only issue I have run into when it comes to electronics is the aux and USB the center console of the car. The randomly come and go in terms of working. Online forums have indicated to me that these issues are fairly common. Hopefully not too hard and/or expensive of a fix. All in all, I really enjoy the car thus far, and if the reliability ratings on this cars are true, then I would recommend buying one ! :)

The UConect issues are to my understanding a 2015+ issue. In 2015 they "upgraded" to a more app based UConnect, generally the UAQ radio. This sucker is one large expensive unit and prone to issues. 11-14 have a simpler more robust system where the screen is just a screen and the unit is separate. While they have a few less features they're far more robust and the few failures that do happen with the screen are easily fixed.

bought a 2017 300 Limited brand new. It now has 29000 miles and has been out of warranty for about a year. A/C compressor began leaking oil and had to have it replaced for $1700. The driver's side strut is already making noise so I'll have to get both front struts replaced at around $600 to $800. These two issues should never have come up at the low mileage it has. Otherwise I really like the car. V-6 Pentastar motor is awesome!!!

I have a 2016 300S and it’s never needed anything replaced. Air conditioner is a bit weak so there’s probably a leak somewhere but other than that it’s been a fantastic car and she’s put up with a lot of abuse (being driven on nothing but the rim with a blown out tire TWICE). only 71K and that’s pretty much barely broken in for a Pentastar. love the car.

260,000? Wow, that is a lot of miles! I have a 07 Charger R/T with just over 118,000 on it and this has been my daily driver for the last 12 years since buying it nearly new with 11,000 on it.
And like the 05 Chrysler 300 with the 5.7 hemi that you demo'd in your other video; yes, I can relate to the leaky valve cover gasket (though mine is on the driver's side). Overall a great car that has needed very little. In fact, the only thing that is not original to the car (besides the tires and front ball joints) is the battery that I just replaced at the 10 year mark. Even the radiator, alternator, and headlights are original.
Lastly, I have had to replace the AC blower motor twice! Yes, the original lasted about 9 years, and the replacement one from A-1 Auto lasted just under 2 years.
Didn't have any issue with the "tick" or the fuel tank recall.
Also, my power trunk release feature quit working about 2 years ago. Haven't made an effort to fix it, however, it most likely can be attributed to a broken wire where the harness comes out of the trunk lid. There is a video somewhere on UA-cam showing how to fix it. Maybe I'll give it a go this summer.

I can add a very common issue. This car doesn't have it but the 11-14 cars with leather dash all fail. The leather pulls apart at the seem close to the windshield. Not a huge issue, but ugly, kinda pricey to fix and Chrysler hasn't done anything about it. The Jeeps Cherokees of the same years do it as well, but Jeep extended the warranty to cover it.
I haven't fixed mine yet, I'm told best to find wait till something happens to the windshield then find a glass and upholstery place to remove the windshield and fix the dash. If you have one with a leather dash and it hasn't pulled up yet get or thank a windshield sunshade. FWIW weathertech makes custom fit sunshades that work quite well.

I owned a 2012 chrysler 300 limited for 26 months, traded it in 1 month ago. I want to chime in to add some problems i saw on my car. Mileage is a killer with these cars, especially for fleet vehicles. I had to replace the transmission, engine heads (pentastar tick) , ball joints, tie rods, control arms, brakes, tail lights, alternator, brakes, tires, air bag sensors under seat, cruise control button, headlight switch, passenger side mirror, and the exhaust, most repairs being under an extended warranty I purchased my car at 108105 miles and sold it with 126058 miles after 26 months. When i sold my car, the transmission was failing again, the blend door actuators both were in need of replacing, the airbag light was on, and the bluetooth had stopped working completely. My only advice to perspective buyers of the chrysler 300 is get one with a warranty, you will need it.

Smooth ride, comfortable, leather stitched interior, rear fold down seat, good gas mileage, plent of power, goes great at high speeds, remote start, with auto shut off after 10 minutes if you don’t drive away, blind spot monitoring, can’t lock the keys in the car by mistake, dial controls instead of all touch screen, heated seats, you can’t go wrong if you buy this car, even if something goes wrong it’s still a great ride.
