This looks like such an easy recipe to make. Going to try to make it with the red lentils I just got, great way to get plant-based protein 😊 Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for this recipe. I’ve been cutting back on red meat because of high cholesterol. I was craving spaghetti and wondering what I could use in place of beef. This recipe is so flavorful and delicious. I will definitely make this recipe again!!!!!!
I love this recipe so much I’m making it for a second time! I made it for the first time last month and used some red lentil rotini pasta, super packed with plant based nutrition! Also I love it because it’s one year old friendly, my baby loved it for her first pasta dish ❤
I made this tonight just guessing the amounts of things and am watching this while it's simmering 😅 I almost made it exactly the same except for the wine & i added a dessert spoon of raw sugar. Good guesses. Tastes amazing too! ♡
That doesn't sound right, are you sure the liquid was simmering enough? Are they orange or red lentils? It's possible they were already old when you bought them which makes them cook more slowly, but still my red lentils usually take no more than 25 minutes max. I would bump up the heat if they take that long.
Sorry for late reply, Angela, but the sauce itself is perfect for diabetics! Just make sure to use whole wheat pasta or any high fiber pasta to protect your blood sugar. Bon appetit! 🥰

Am I missing something? My lentils are still rock hard after 50 minutes of cooking
