I’m so glad I bought my 2016 used. Outside of the gear indicator, there is nothing different between the very first model (2015) and the 2023. Come on Kawasaki. At least throw an LED light on the bike.
My man you have no clue what you're talking about. I just ordered a 2023 abs vulcan s all black.... I am north America Choices were all black, or black and green with out abs. Then those two choices as well as the special addition carbon one you showed. You can 100% get all black with abs......
@@slowridertv that was ONE of the options. I had 3 options on abs 2 options on non abs. The only extra abs option was the one you showed. But all the standard non abs came in abs as a upgrade. Then of course I had the rear peg and seat option as well. And yes I am Canadian that is North America my friend
I watch a "build" video of the 2021 Vulcan S in white with Royal blue striping on the wheels! I spotted it on TOTW channel-13:41 minutes long. That bike looks fantastic! Now, with all the black coloring, it's fallen off my list of "bikes to be considered"! Doug🏍️🥺🙄😵💔
ua-cam.com/video/VU-L5zC_ves/v-deo.html The blue on those wheels really pops with the white. Don't give up hope, I'm sure Kawi will put out something colorful again.
I had mine Vulcan s for about 11 months 2022 model put 5200 miles on it and loved it. Actually miss it, but that bike was incredible. I did several 4 + hour trips effortlessly on it. Cruised on the highway no problem, just was time to upgrade. Got a 1600 nomad - still a Vulcan and I love it as well. I’ll likely stay with Vulcans forever
I paid $7,499 In 2019 for mine brand new, with ABS. I see no price increase over 4 model years. That’s incredible. Actually hurts resale value not that I’ll sell mind. It’s more satisfying to add bikes not sell them. I swear I had at least 5 color choices in 2019 on showroom floor. I purchased mine in Storm Cloud Blue. In my opinion, a very retro color. Unusual. But this model sure looks great in all black I’ve realized.
Royal Enfield's new Super Meteor 650 could be a real contender in this small to midweight cruiser category. www.royalenfield.com/in/en/motorcycles/super-meteor-650/
KVS compared to the Rebel 1100. Rebel is approx $2150 more brand new but you get bigger displacement and 25 more HP, rider modes, cruise control, ABS standard, a lighter motorcycle. It’s a no brainer. You get so much more by spending an extra $2150.
@@Alexanderyhwong a big problem for me is the rebel is just too cramped. Even as small as the vulcan is, I've made it very comfortable. Otherwise if I were smaller then the rebel would be my choice.
2 years! That's crazy. At a dealer near me last year they talked about "supply chain problems" but you would think something would have improved by now.
@@slowridertv hear the same BS story! Non abs only! Up here in New York Long Island. Wanted to get the bike, put money and waited for nothing. The same thing with other dealers here, say the same thing, unable to have the parts made for “ABS” models.

Colours range from tedious to very tedious. Why can't manufactures push the boat out On colours?
Black is new? No choice in asia. Led headlight? Air oresure dusplay?
I want a Vulcan s tour 850cc and shaft or belt drive
like a Vulcan 900 classic lt
@@slowridertv no a Vulcan s a big difference there’s been talk about a Vulcan s 1000 cc so maybe they will.
Same in asia. Only color changes eith mo led or tft screen

@@potent_osrs4680 good to know. The kawi website does not make that clear.

Interesting and ideal for parts the longer just colours change. I've just bought a 2017 model in the UK with ABS. Really love the bike.
I like the looks of this bike with the exception of the back fender. The fender looks like it belongs to a bigger bike.

I had the storm cloud blue also. Love that color.
Prices for ABS models have been increasing I think. $7,899 for 2023.
Hey Slow, I've got no problem looking to Honda or, some other brand if, Kawasaki can't get their sloppy choices corrected! Doug

You are wasting your time, could not get a abs model for 2022.
Yes, seems like most of the Vulcan S coming to dealers are going straight to people on waiting lists.
