4:09 This was the first time I heard anyone say that the Vulcan S is slow. It has the engine of a Ninja so don't ride it like a V-Twin if you don't want to be left behind. Use the upper band of the rev range and you will easily catch up with that group. Great video and keep it up. :)

      I agree. I just got a 2020 and I'm a new Rider and she's freaking fast enough

After taking out all the restrictions and adding a delkivick exhaust I love my Vulcan S even more

Which restrictions? From my understanding the US market bike doesn't have any?

Wish these vulcan s bikes had the tft display of the ninja 650 and the bluetooth and kawasaki app compatibility. I want this to be my first bike, but I kinda wish it had the techy features of the other bikes, especially the screen and app support. Makes things a little easier for us beginners that also enjoy tech.

I have a 2024 Vulcan S & I like it. No it’s not a premium bike. No it’s not a Harley or an Indian. I’m 6’1” 325lbs and it takes my fat butt down the road just fine. I’ve done 90 down the freeway with no problem. The seat mid reach sucks. Extended reach is on the way. Is this bike any good for long trips? No I would say not. Getting around town and the occasional quick trip down the freeway. It is an excellent bike.

Maybe the engagement is just that particular bike, and not all vulcan bikes. I test rode one, and I plan on getting one soon. Coming from sport bikes to a cruiser, I think this is ideal

Of the three bikes you mentioned, the Vulcan S, Harley Davidson NIghtser and the Indain Scout, I think the Vulcan S is the BEST looking. I wouldn't have the Harley on a bet. The Nightster feels like it has NO suspension front or rear, the seat feels like a 2X8 piece of hardwood and it is ugly. The Indian is also ugly. The Indain Chief has a beautiful engine, but the Scout's engine looks too industrial. And I really like the gauges on the Vulcan S.
I wouldn't buy the Harley if it were half price. I'd buy the Kawasaki Vulcan S and get twice the bike for half the money. I've owned motorcycles since 1964 includung Japanese models and Harleys. My last one cost $37,000 and broke down four times within the first year. I then sold it for $28,000. For the money I lost on one stinking Harley I could have bought a Vulcan S and had maoney left over. Another thing I really like about the Vulcan S is that it doesn't chug chug chug like a Harley or a Briggs and Stratton. I like the smooth engine and if you rev it up closer to the rev line instead of short shifting it you would find out they have plenty of power and will probably out run most Harleys on the road. Harleys are not fast, just noisey..
You say if your wife bought a Vulcan S you would be alrght with that, but you wouldn't buy one. That's just because you still have that Harley Davison ego. For me I will NEVER buy another Harley.

I guess you wouldn't suggest me doing a giveaway series on a Harley.

@@minijpmotorcycles That would be the ONLY way I'd own another Harley, if I were to win one. And I'd put it up for sale the very next day. I'm done with dealing with JUNK like Harley Davidsons.

I don't think he's giving it a very good review. I have watched over two dozen videos dating back to 6 Years even. Everybody loves it everybody's surprised by it. You cannot compare it to anything else. She stands alone in her class sport Cruiser

I think it looks cool! I wish it came with LED lights. At its weight, wouldn't it be better served with 4 POT brakes?

I have never heard anyone say that the Vulcan S is slow. For a 650 it is fast. Of course, comparing a Vulcan S 650 to the Nightster is comparing apples to oranges since the Nightster is a 975 cc. Also saying the Vulcan S is ugly is silly. Have you ever looked at the left side of the Nightster? What an absolute mess! It looks like a dog ate a bunch of metal and hoses and then threw up.

I don't understand it when reviewers complain about play in the throttle. Don't they realize that it's just an adjustment? Guess what? You can adjust the tension in the chain too! There is a couple of nuts that you turn with a wrench to adjust the play however you wish. I guess some people have never used a wrench on a bike and know nothing about mechanics. That's okay though, there is no law which says you have to be a mechanic. Some people just ride them and take them to the dealer even to get the chain adjusted.

The Harley you compared to this bike is so ugly compared to the avulcan. Also, 8:58 this one is built with so much better quality.
Harley is loosing so many customers because they cannot build anything modern with quality that could compete with Japanese bikes.

We get it... you're a Harley simp. (And for the record I have a Harley two Yamahas one Suzuki and one Honda) The the Kawasaki 650 motor is tried and tested, it's a ninja motor for you say that it's slow, obviously you don't really know what you're talking about, inline motors are designed for horsepower not torque as opposed to a V-Twin low RPM torque,( three of my bikes RV twins) this is the problem with Harley simps doing reviews, not everything supposed to ride like a Harley and first of all that's not a a bike for your old lady, you can always tell a Harley smip because they want to classify a bike as for certain people. Please do the motorcycle community a favor, and stop doing reviews, anybody that has been riding motorcycles for a long time knows that this model bike is not for beginners as you keep alluding to several times, in fact there are much better motorcycles for beginners, smaller displacement, better handling bikes that are specifically designed for new riders.

KAWASAKI better consider to re design the REAR FENDER and the Big Bulky SEAT cos those looked STUPlD.
Even Chinese cruiser (like : BENDA) has A BETTER DESIGNED REAR FENDER than Kawasaki.
    How stupid is that..
