Warm here in the UK for this time of year 12°c today and a barmy 15°c tomorrow. Someone i knew growing up was a large scale chicken farmer. He'd show us the sheds with literally thousands of young chicks in them, it was like a massive moving yellow carpet. Great to see this guy's farm, thanks for taking us with you.

I am missing the warmth the of Thailand at the moment, 11 degrees here in the South Island of NZ is a bit too nippy for me, and this is in summer! Three weeks and I’ll be back to the warmth 👍. I use to have chickens and they are such a great pet, thanks for this lovely video and merry Christmas to you all.
I'm from the South island but live in Udon Thani now. It is reminiscent of a dry spring day (if that is even possible). 11 - 24 temp range... bloody beautiful

The last 2 nights here in Cha Am have been pretty cold i even have to wear my tracksuit pants to bed and a blanket,unusual for me.

I bought my Plymouth rocks Rhode Island , leg horn and sussex chickens through a Thai group called hatching eggs started with approx 20 hatched eggs , 3 years later more than 80 chickens laying an average of 40 eggs a day and lots of mixed race now doing all very well.
The mutated looking one is a Serama....super cool little mini chickens.

You can sex day old chickens. As a child I bought baby supposidly unsexed chickens in the market they all grew up as roosters. In retirement I raised two batches of day old chickens all guaranteed female they grew up female. I bought these from Wagners chicken farm Coldsream. Sexing chickens has been around for decades. I love what you are doing in Thailand and I always wanted part of my retirement to be in rural Thailand. All the best for Chrismas and a prosperous healthy New Year.
