@RegurgiNATE It's crazy, cuz rappers have had mad respect for Zack, even if rap fans didn't back in the day. I listened to a bit of everything in the 90s, so I'm glad I didn't fall into that trap of "This is trash cuz I like that."

It's rock not metal. They made a political statement like nobody else ever has. They've been making these songs since the early '90s nothing has changed since then probably will. I came from this generation that listened to this music and didn't do anything I hope yours will! Great reaction!

I've never really considered Rage as metal, it just sounded like hard rock/rap to me. I've only just recently found out they were labeled as metal. What I like about them is that they never felt the need to water anything down or hold anybody's hand and make what they were saying more palatable just to avoid making people uncomfortable. I believe this was also a shot at politicians preaching family values while also destroying them by starting wars for greed.
I love how relevant they've become again lately after 30 years or so. just goes to show that history is doomed to repeat itself unless we make changes. Great reaction brother! Keep it up and stay strong and safe!
The thing about Rock is that usually Rock isn't as direct as Rage Against the Machine is. There are several Rock and Metal bands that cover the same issues in their songs, but the way they present it is not the same. Rage is (sadly) sooo relevant today. All songs have messages. Listen to more-- even if not as a reaction video. Lyrics are a must. Even if you don't love them you will definitely appreciate them.
