3:50 I'll remember this yo React to Em & Royce - A Kiss, if you wanna be surprised again. At this point imma say anything to get you to react to this track lmao. Totally different vibe of course, but one of my favorite BME tracks. And great reaction as usual
Just another perfect reason as to why the game of “hip hop” has so much respect for the man. Without Eminem, I don’t think “The Game” would have ever known what their limit of free speech and their pen could be capable of.
Now imagine being like 12 when this album dropped, having to hide out with your friends to play it so parent didn’t hear, and losing your mind at how wild he was shock value content wise, on top of the rapping skill obviously. This is why Em blew like he did man, us pre teen white boys lost our shit at this, parents hating it made us like it that much more.
Needing to sit and process Kim and 97 Bonnie and Clyde, is something we've All Done, lol. This is how I breakdown both songs. I love psychology so this might be a bit deep, lol. Marshall loves Nothing more than Hailie (it's all throughout his music) and that's the driving force for both songs. In "Kim" Marshall was fine breaking up and being thrown out, but LOST IT when she moved another man and his son, into the home Marshall provided for HIS family. He sees this as Kim creating a new family for Hailie, therefore replacing him....and Marshall has a Psychotic Break. Everything forward is like animal insitict...he's taking out anything he sees as a threat to Them. That's why he's able to slit a 4 yr old kids throat seemingly unbothered (he was part of the delusional threat). And why he's talking about not wanting to live without Kim, yet when Kim offers to stay and they can be a family together raising their daughter (what he actually wanted most) he can't even hear her...he's just too far gone. 97 Bonnie and Clyde - Then Immediately after killing Kim Marshall is calm, and even perhaps euphoric. He's gushing with love for his daughter, cooing baby talk, and tending to her Every need like a Great dad. Hailie is His! Even though a small part of him still knows what he did might cost him. It's an amazing example of how well Em understands human psychology, storytelling, and relaying emotion. Btw Kim wasn't ever with a man that had a kid, she just frequently prevented Marshall from seeing Hailie, and played a lot of games that hurt him.
This was the 1st song I ever heard by Em & it was my sons father playing it in the car after a fight....I was shocked but amazed at it. Still think my ex was sending me a clear message
I adore this song, since first listen. Fun fact: That is really Hailie's voice in the song. He lied to Kim and told her he's taking Hailie out for a burger and took her to the studio to record this. Apparently when Kim found out she went crazy. But it all adds to his creative vision for me. Your reaction is so pure.
My favorite part of this song is when Eminem says, "You wanna help Dada tie a rope around this rock? We'll tie it to her footsie, then we'll roll her off the dock. Ready now? Here we go! On the count of FREE (3, but he's talking in baby talk)... 1 - 2 - 3!! Weeee! There goes Mama splashin' in the water. No more fightin' with Dad, no more restraining order...." Lmaoooo!! 🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is real! Bought this album the day it dropped. Set around with friends all day listening and having our minds blown! Lots of people were definitely shocked. The late 90's were a different time.
"On the count of three one two three wee. There goes momma splashing in the water no more fighting with dad no more restraining order. No more step dada no more new brother blow her kisses bye bye tell you love her." Craziness
Imma have 2 watch ur reaction several more times cuz u had me cracking up, lol. Have u ever heard any1 rap in baby talk like that? Leave it 2 Em 2 pull that 1 off, FR FR. And 2 my knowledge (not completely positive), Em actually snuck Hailie 2 the studio and that is actually her voice when u hear the baby?? Crazy but brilliant, I can't do anything but appreciate this track and Kim. They rnt on my Playlist but I will always listen if they come on. Can't wait 4 Bad Husband now, that 1 is on my Playlist. Super excited 4 next Sunday 💯. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Reaction, TY 🙏 and stay safe!
I fucking love watching ppls reactions they are so caught off guard to This song and Kim but I also like seeing them also do the warning just to name a few 😂
This is the best reaction channel. What sets you apart are that you talk openly about how a song makes you feel and how it affected you. Also, not afraid to call songs trash when they are. Respect.
Best reaction to this yet. You felt every emotion we ALL felt. Something about the angelic sounds & crickets on the beat give me goosebumps. The soft tone in his voice like he's emotionally numb & his daughter add to the realism. He makes you feel like your a fly on the wall. This is a Masterpiece. 1/1 🎶
"I cant believe thiese are real songs. ... I cant believe people can go to the internet and really listen to them ... its almost too good to be true" ... Lmfao ... you make me crack the fuck up. I love Em's songs like this. Who else speaks such raw feelings and thoughts that most people dont expose but we can connect to, ykyk
Got to say yes it's crazy but it's all entertainment Eminem got to be one of the best storytellers ever goat on the highest level at 48 still killing it great reaction homie peace PS Browns got their ass kicked today that sucks
Concept wise, this might be his best song. It's not lyrical, but the concept is crazy. Bonnie & Clyde were partners in crime. In this song, Em gets his baby daughter to help commit the crimes.. But yet, the whole time is is acting like a good & caring dad while simultaneously doing all this bad ish.... It's simple writing, but the concept is pretty nuts & has multiple layers👍
Great review and glad you followed up with it so quickly. As far as your rambling, it's never been a problem because it's fun to watch your sincere process. But you actually haven't rambled on these two vids. Your ability to quickly identify multiple emotions is impressive, and is a skill more people need. Glad you identify how amazing this perspective is. And yes, discomfort is always there no matter how many listens. But throughout the ages, artists have delved into the deep dark potentialities of human nature, so he's in good company. Brilliant track.
Loved this reaction...you had me cracking up🤣🤣 The song is a little disturbing, but it's Eminem so nothing he does surprises me anymore. I've kinda come to expect it!
Look up Eminem's tattoos, he has a tattoo of Hailie's face with Bonnie & Clyde written under it, and their getaway car... the emotion is definitely real.
Whats even crazier is I was in 6th grade when it came out. The album was so popular that people clowned you if you didn't have this album in your backpack. lol So not only is this song real for anyone to listen to, but people like me were rapping along with it at age 12-13. lol Eminem, South Park, and The Boondocks pretty much dictated my sense of humor at an early age. It's why its impossible to offend me. I was watching/listening to shit a child probably shouldn't, well before there was internet. lol
The only thing I felt bad about was knowing Hailey would get older, hear this and then look at her dad like, "Dad! Why did you put me in this situation about my own mom!?"😅 Bringing children into spousal fights is pretty dirty, to be honest. As for the song alone...it's genius!

Even as a kid when I 1st heard this I understood it's just a story. Shocked the crap out of me and still does to this day Because it's that good, But I think this is a great example of someone Saying what they Felt because of getting cheated on instead of acting on it. My joking funny theory is that if Eminem never made it as a rapper he'd be the most prolific serial killer lol Just as good at that as he is at rapping so I don't think he would have ever been caught. So I'm glad hes a rapper.
