Omg! that comment you said about when you used to look at the hair you wanted, how you didn't notice the frizz back then, you just loved the hair and it's only now that you look back at it you can see the frizz - has probably been the most freeing thing I have heard on my wavy journey. It instantly made so much sense to me. Like a light bulb has gone on and made me realise my frizz probably isn't noticed by anyone else the way I notice it. No one mentions it after all. It's all built up in my mind way worse than it actually looks. Thank you so much Tori that was brilliantly executed ❤
Ah Nicola your comment has absolutely made my day. All I really want is to help people love their wavy hair texture like I finally do so it’s so so lovely to read your comment - thank you SO much for taking the time to write it. Have a super lovely day x
I had my five year curlyversary in may (🥳), and five years ago I couldn’t have imagined how much I would come to love my hair. .. I wish I had known what I know now when I was watching SATC as a teenager. Little did I know that I was just a good hair routine (ok… and quite a bit of patience 😅) away from the Carrie hair I dreamed of 😲😅
Happy Curlversary ✨➰✨ Did u love satc too? I know to think of all the years I could have loved instead of loathed my hair…but better now than never I guess 😊😊
Can't believe it's been a year! I'm so happy for you! Your progress has been so inspiring and I really appreciate all your tips and reccomendations over your videos that've been very enlightening and I'm glad to say I've been seeing some drastic results as of late 🙏
That's brilliant news pleased too hear you're getting such good results...what are you putting it down to? Thanks so much for your lovely comment and appreciation, means a lot 🥰x
@@Tori_Hunter I'd say hair health > unrealistics pattern expectations, plus figuring out the right styling and diffusing techniques! I'm still navigating around my hair needs product wise, and it's so difficult because I have highlights, so my lengths and ends lose moisture so quick but my roots are too silky and I can easily overmoisturize. But it's a process and I'm learning to appreciate the small wins 🩷
Yes that’s sounds like a tricky balance and I couldn’t agree more about the pattern expectations! I definitely was trying to hard at the start to create a more curly look and then got frustrated with the lengthy process only to find it didn’t last more than a day!
Congratulations Tori!!!!! Jolly well done for making this great first anniversary video and for embracing (and taking such good care of) your hair!! 🎉I really like your philosophy and your attitude with regards wavy hair. I'm on my 10th year of learning (in fits and starts) how to take better care of my naturally wavy hair and, along with learning to embrace the frizz, I've had to realise that my natural wave pattern will not look as perfect as waves created with heated styling tools and that's absolutely fine😊 I am also not a refresh woman - it gets let out of the overnight pineapple, left alone for 20 minutes, and I might mist it very lightly with water but otherwise I can’t be bothered faffing around with wetting, applying products and diffusing again so soon after washing. I found this video very helpful so have sent it (and a few others from your channel) to some friends. All the best for your next year of wavy hair and YouTubing - I'm sure you'll go from strength to strength👍
Thank you so much for all your lovely words of encouragement about both this video and my channel, really kind and very much appreciated. Thank you 💗 We sound as though we really do share a wavy hair philosophy take care of it, embrace it and can't be bothered with too much faff 😁 Thank you too for sharing my content...you're a star, have a great weekend x
Hi Tori new subscriber here! Loved your video! I just want to ask about your hairstyle, do you have longer layers? I also have very fine wavy hair that always looks flat when its one length, so I think layers would work.. your opinion on layers?😊🌻
Hi 👋 welcome ❤️ thanks so much for your lovely comment. At the moment I am still opting for a blunt cut however I’ve been chatting to my hairdresser about introducing longer layers. Once I decide to have them done I’ll do a video about it - I’ve got some content ideas about creating the illusion of thicker hair; mine is fine but with certain techniques and products I can make it look and feel a lot fuller than it actually is. Hope that helps a bit x
They are very similar to be honest but IMO the wet brush is slightly better - it detangles without ever snagging or pulling on my hair. I have both and only ever use my brush to detangle in the shower, apply conditioner, styling product etc… I do still like my tangle teezer for when I’m going to air dry or applying a one and done styler

I had my 1st curlversary this March, after 10+ years of chemical straightening.
I have been really enjoying it!
Oh wow that’s amazing, happy curlaversary ❤️
What made you decide go for it and stop chemically straightening your hair?
@@Tori_Hunter a new coworker with perfect hair everyday! We got talking on how she deals with her natural pattern and I decided to give it a go 😊
@MyLadyGodiva how handy to have someone to talk it all through with ❤️
happy wavy/anniversary 🥳

What is the difference between the Tangle Teezer and Wet Brush?
