I live in a city where the humidity is very high, and my weavy hair becomes frizzy and dry quickly, and I want your suggestions on the best products please
Hey, humidity is def not a friend to wavy hair - mine does exactly the same in that type of climate. I'd recommend a leave in conditioner to help with dryness, layer a strong hold gel over this and lock it all in by not only scrunching out the crunch with an oil but then also smoothing a little extra over your hair - particularly ends and areas that tend to frizz. I love a lightweight leave-in such as NYM, Ceremonia UV Detangler and Olaplex No5 (If you want a cream rather than spray) and a gel such as giovanni strong hold, curlsmith souffle or UG Jelly. My favourite oil has to be Olaplex No7 as it's super light but for something thicker (and cheaper) L'oreal extraordinary oil is brilliant! Good luck, let me know how you get on 👍
I had a similar experience the first time I used it but I think I’ve found a way to make it work - maybe I’ll do a review or ranking of bond repairs I’ve used ☺️
oh my gosh same! A well known hair influencer uses it and recommend it but i find it makes my hair dry and also slightly brittle? Totally the opposite of what you are trying to do with a bond repair!
This is just up my street Tori I'm with you on this journey as soon as I finished watching this video i measured my hair i don't have a middle parting but I made one and when I measured it was 16 inches that's a coincidence 😂.Im not going to buy anymore hair products ive got to many I'm just going to use the ones I have i just brought the mielle rosemary and mint light scalp oil and also the Aldi Lacura hydrate and moisture scalp serum so im going to do the hair massage. Because im a old lady😂 my hair does not grow very quickly .I've just started this week vitabright Biotin hair growth vitamins so im going to see if they make any difference in hair growth it does take a few months to get into the system though. I bet your going to try the redken .I've only just brought another olaplex 3 so will stick to that as I love it im also trying out the L'Oreal Elvive bond set as its been highly recommended by others on UA-cam and it's a lot cheaper. Looking forward to part 2 ?
Oh I’m so pleased and excited you’re going to join me with this experiment. Sounds like you already have everything you need and how amazing that our hair is the same length 😄💁♀️ I think a lot of these things I do or have but it’s about consistency of use for me! I guess part 2 will be early 2025 x
My hair was sleek for years, I was so sad to loose my curly wavy hair... After covid I had hairloss. Then I started to take supplements. Now 2 years later, my hair is wavy again. And curly at the ends (I have tailbone lenght) and it is 3 times the amount of it was years ago. During these 2 years I tried every topical treatment and other hair growth remedies, none of them made my hair grow faster. This is not possible. But my hair is so dense now, after all of these years it was thin and flat. Vitamin or mineral deficiency can affect not only your hair amount, also the hair type can change. Magnesium is very important, almost every person has too less in the body because stress reduces it. Selenium, iodine, vitamin d3
I must admit this is exactly what I expect from the results - perhaps an improvement in quality and density but not in how fast my hair will actually grow…but I’ll keep an open mind ☺️ Amazing that your hair went from wavy to sleek and back again but good to know that your happy with it now /m❤️
Its me again ive just purchased the redken Acidic bonding concentrated leave in treatment as its on offer i use in mostly on my ends were the old bleach damage is and my hair feels so soft first time i used it was on dry hair and it felt lovely and hydrated and soft. Today i used it on soaking wet hair im really impressed and there's me saying im not going to buy anymore hair products 😂
Oh this is is very interesting as another person said they were really unimpressed… I’m definitely going to give it a go, sometime you just have to find out for yourself…that’s my justification for another hair product purchase and I’m sticking to it 😉😊
Oh really that’s interesting, I def don’t need any help making my hair feel dry it does that easily all by itself 🤦🏼♀️ Did you have damage & if yes did it help repair it? Thank you
@@Tori_Hunter I am natural blonde with lots of highlights so yes to damage! I did not feel like it repaired my hair. When I use olaplaex 3 I it repairs/helps my hair.
Hmm this is very intriguing, because I too have highlights so I wonder if I'd get the same result. I'm still super tempted to try it but there is also Epres that I could give a go but it's pretty expensive! Have you tried that one too?
Maybe I should try the Epres once I'm done with the Living Proof...my issue is I really don't like using it because of how it first makes my hair feel 🙈

please do a video on living proof- i’m also using it on my wavy hair but not loving the texture once it’s dried

I have similar hair as yours and I do not like that redkin acidic bond repair. I’m using it up but it makes my highlighted blonde hair feel so so dry.

@@Tori_Hunter I do like the Epres. I haven't been using it consistently but I felt like it helped to soften my hair, help with frizz.
