I personally know of an instance where a Wauk. detective threw false charges onto a person having a medical emergency. He knew no law was broken, but maliciously pushed charges that were untrue. He lied (under oath) in a probable cause hearing which pushed this innocent person into the court system. This supposed detective went out his way to victimize a member of the public who hadn't committed any crime. That person was railroaded in court. By the end, they were extorted for about $4,500.
