Nice callback to the old grimoire cards. Taken enemies would be offered a knife in the shape of a concept they desire. An offer to overcome their insecurities. Considering his refusal to stay down, Kelgorath may not have many insecurities. But he does have desires, hence his defection to the Wrathborn and his constant morphs.

Honestly, I assumed that Loretab was talking about the Knight we fight in the Coil rather than Kelgorath. As for the narrator, the loretab is formatted like the Taken Grimoire Cards where the narrator is implied to be the Darkness as someone is transformed into a Taken.

I once commented under a byf video about how kelgorath isnt stupid and his death is part of xivus plan (since its odd for bungie to constantly revive a character) but nobody saw the comment, it made me feel like a mad prophet now that he has deep lore

I wonder if nezerac could be this voice as he’s technically still alive on some consciousness plain and probably wants revenge. The odd part of this is if nezerac can have any leeway with taken powers in this plain or maybe he guides kelgorath to his torment hammer and that gives power.
The winnower is a cool theory but I do hope we see nezerac in a new body at some point cause he could be a more upfront villian like he’s done with the witness and trying to gain power and his own army
Imma be honest, I am still fucking impressed that Savathuns 2 lies 2 truths game is still fucking relevant. Even in death she bested us before becoming a guardian
I think this year shows us just how scary Savathun is as an adversary. Making me second guess things she did back in season of the lost even. So many things turned out so well, it seems as if she must've planned it. And even if she hadn't, it means we're dealing with someone, that has contingencies upon contingencies.

I knew it I knew it back in season of the deep since kelgorath kept coming back and kept getting stronger and after finding out Oryx's worm was missing that just cemented it for me

I can imagine Xivu still has dominion over the Taken thanks to Kelgorath but taking this new tab into account, it could be that Kelgorath is starting to lose himself to the Taken curse and the one who whispers in his ear will lead Kelgorath to do something nightmarish in his delusion to see Xivu ascend to her throne once more. I guess we could have something like Kelgorath, Taken Wrath of Xivu
The final mission of Season of the Lost is my absolute favorite. It was, to my knowledge, the first 6 man match made activity with a boss fight that had a wipe mechanic. We need more like this.

Taniks saw that we found the corpse of Oryx on Titan and decided to wear his skin for a Halloween prank. And it’ll be the next time we fight him.

For those who don’t know by now the winnower ( the statue in the pyramid ) is going to be the continuation of the destiny saga after the episodes are done. We’re are just wrapping up the vex, xivu and scorn storylines with the episodes. We still yet to meet the creatures drifters team ran into, we have still yet to run into the Aphelion and we still have to wrap up The 9.
The female statue in the Pyramids and clarity control is the Gardener, she is seen in a dream by St.14 as a motherly figure, while she references his violent nature coming from his father (Winnower). Also the Witness’s race worshiped the Gardener and would have made statues of her, now as a reminder of their target.
Taniks and Kelgorath are fused in the ritual similar used to create The Witness to become the new big bad of Destiny.
I think the next “saga” has to be about the nine. So many questions. Zero answers

It's not about Kelgorath though, it's about the Taken Knight in the Coil. Pretty sure that lore tab is simply meant to illustrate Xivu Arath's lingering influence over the Taken.

I never thought the Winnower was gone. I was always surprised when lore channels would dismiss the Winnower as defunct or retconned. After all Bungie never dismissed the Gardener therefore the Winnower is still there as the 2 were introduced in the same lore book.
Do people still think The Witness isn't the Winnower? The Species that became the The Witness did that precisely because they believed they needed a Winnower to prune the unfettered chaos of the Gardener (Traveler) So they Became one aka The Witness. What's the confusion?

I would love to find out that the witness and the winnower arent the same, and that the winnower isnt just the veil. I was extremely dissapointed in the direction the game took with the witness bieng the winnower.
At this point i think Kelgorath and Taniks are final shape, i don't care what the witness wants, i just wanna stop whatever is reviving these two

This is one issue i have with the lore of Destiny. Death means nothing. What's the stakes when no matter what was killed it can always be revived by some random space magic rules?

We need to raise or restore Oryx, and confront him with the truth, for ONLY Oryx can bring Xivu Arath to heel. Kelgorath as a new Taken King? A pale shadow indeed of Oryx!! But the difference being that Oryx kept his mind, and his personality while Kelgorath has neither, seeing as he is HIMSELF a taken thing. Oryx 'lives' still, or so we understand, only empty of a motive force, a will to give him motion, strength and purpose.

My guess is he'll be sent into the deep Vex network (Asphodel Meadows) to seek a deleted Oracle, Tiresias, for a prophesy. His story will reflect a mix of Odysseous', Tiresias', and a highlights of Homer's Odyssey just so we can have a Hive Vex connection and a new glaive called Winnower's Oar.
Great video,but nope.. Xivu gave up after her defeat.There is no reason for a knight in the lore.The nine.. yes.. their part made the movement in amkhara, Iron Lords ,the darkness,ect saga.
"They" need to be accountable for knowing what has been happening all this time. Somehow,i think , the real reasons behind their actions,will be released later on in the lore. We are just scratching the surface..

Yes in ghost of the deep armor it’s said that oryx body never died but we put his heart in touch of malice which he planned at like 20 percent power oryx was insanely powerful that’s why the ritual didn’t work oryx wasn’t dead lol

I don't think you can say they aren't lazy voters that don't take games play into account and vote on name alone and the players voted on these rules themselves. Let the season finish out before you come to a conclusion
This dude is literally trying for a Guinness world record for the most reskin/reuse enemy in a video game
ANd he's doign it right. I realy hate it when Bungie gets lazy and just reuses a model for an existing notable enemy like the Scorn Barons, I've seen Rekis Vahn used for the Locus Of COmunion, and the Mad Bomber dude reused for a bos in Riven's lair, he shoudl have been a unique desighn.
