We won in a strand competition and when they played this song, I proudly shouted how I am a Queen fan and listener forever in the midst of a crowd in school.
That's how I take QUEEN’s pride until now.
I almost cry every time he hit that note on "keep on fighting", its the first time i see he do that for that song, it was truly the show of his life, it hits different when you know he's sick, and even was told not to do the show
Best frontman, best performer, best musician. Truly amazing. Only emperors and kings have kept a crowd like that in constant awe. “I’ve taken my bows, and my curtain calls. You’ve brought me fame and fortune and everything that goes with it, I thank you all.”
Yup totally brilliant! Blown away!
Yes! Queen was first and foremost during my high-school years. I married a man that is stuck in the 50 to late 60's music and acts like he has no clue who Queen is. Ugh, thank goodness I now have headphones and my own tablet so I can blast Queen to my hearts content! Hate to admit though but I don't want to go to the new Queen concerts because Adam Lambert just doesn't cut it for me. Yes I rooted for Adam on American idol but just can't accept him with Roger and Brian, and they are sorely missing John Decon! ❤ to All Queen fans.

Lucky to have been part of this iconic time. Ever grateful.
What a band , what a singer ! Decades later the world still recognizes that this was a band that was out of this planet and ahead of times !
The way this guy could command thousands, with just his voice. What an incredible personality.
And they werent even queen fans
@@JonathanGarcia-pq5hg your sort of right. It was a concert that had numerous bands, and singers playing. David Bowie, Elton John, Queen, etc. And at the same time they had bands playing in front of a massive audience at John F. Kennedy stadium all the way in America in Philadelphia. I'm not sure who all played THERE, but I know Black Sabbath with Ozzy Osbourne was one of them. So no, the fans were not ALL Queen fans, but there were some Queen fans attending.
I’ma be honest, I’m not a rock fan not even a Queens fan i know only couple of songs, but dammit this is the pinnacle of live performance

The single best rock and roll performance in the history of music. I was lucky to see it live. There will never be another talent like this ever. Freddy performed like it was his last day on Earth. Notice how he says, "and I thank you all" in the lyrics. He knew he was sick and dying at the time of this concert and gave 100%. He was simply the most fantastic live entertainer of his generation.

My God Look at the Energy and power Showing in the stage and the Whole Crowd singing along with Freddie...Can't Believe that happened in 1985 Live Aid
Don't use God's name in vain
Repent and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, for we are sinful people. We've lied, stolen, used God's name in vain, and looked at people with lust. Even though Jesus said that it is adultery. Which is how God is going to see and judge us. But God sent his son Jesus down on this earth to pay our fine. And God's wrath for us was used on Jesus, but because Jesus never sinned, he rose again. Now Repent and trust in the Lord, for he is coming one day. This is not religious, religion tells you works get you to heaven. For it it by grace and not of your works that you are saved! Trust in Jesus!!!! 😳

Such a grateful person. R.I.P. legend
His little nod and bow to the crowd, when he sang those words, just complete it.
Then notice when he sings "it's been no bed of roses" and his hand gesture like he's actually speaking to you. The guy is truly incredible. The vocals and the face when he's singing "it was a challenge......etc, building up to the 2nd chorus... Blew me away! And to think he was actually ill that time where the doctor told him he needed to rest, but didn't. (hence why his vocals fell off slightly a couple of times towards the end - and the amount of sweat!!
That's what music is about...no flashy costumes, no fancy choreography "just " presence, personality and an unbelievable voice
Freddie had some wonderful flashy costumes - -he just choose not to wear one at this arena- and other times he would take the custom costumes off because he would get too hot. Yellow was his favorite color
What are you talking about? Freddie was known for his outrageous flashy costumes and his strutting around on stage, which I consider fancy choerography in its own right

Freddie must be feeling such a high, that no drugs will ever compare with it.LEGEND!
Freddie just loved interacting with his public.
He was very much a people's person and loved life so much.
Even people who weren't necessarily Queen fans just loved the show Freddie and the rest of the guys put on. This was never more evident than when the fans were clapping along to Radio Gaga.
