I run Vortex .095 and I edge with it. I’ve had very little problems with it welding inside the trimmer head.
For my battery trimmer i have .080 Shakespeare triangular twisted stuff. It frays alot , but it does cut grass nice and uses less power. I do flip edge with it, but the line wears fast. Echo 2320t, currently Husqvarna titanium x pro .095, i don't edge with it often. This line lasts. The black diamond that came with this one cut nice but would dull and become round at the tips fast. I also use .105 square gator line in this for heavy weeds. This line has been breaking alot for me from the last roll I bought, doesn't last like the same stuff that i bought years ago. I do soak my line.
I use 105 square, never round!
Which brand do you use sir?
I have had the same issues with the speed feed 500 welding issues. Finally got speedfeed 500 to work perfectly by applying lubricant inside head thru eyelets no more string line welding
@@eliseomartinez3756 what lubricant did you use? I actually had contemplated doing that.
TRI FLOW
echo black diamond 105 is what i use. i also switched back to stihl trimmerheads with the metal button. the speed feed heads wore out to fast. i use the blade edger for edging.
@@BobFord-i3n if you’ll put the bolt on the outside of the cap, it will never wear.
I use black diamond.095 and .105 with no weld issues. I’ve used cheaper line such as Shakespeare .095 and it would melt. That’s usually running my Echo 3020T for 2-3 hours straight only stopping to fuel up or restring. I have no found a line other than the Stihl .080 that I can flip edge with that I can make last a decent amount distance.
I got some .95 line from Lowe’s the other day. I can’t remember the brand, but it’s not round. Seems like the round lines are smoother running and cut better. Maybe, maybe not but I can definitely feel the difference on my weedeater
I love that Shakespeare ugly twist lowes sell. But they won't sell it in big rolls, so I don't buy it
@@tubby6339 I never really made a big deal out of the line I used but this one definitely feels different and I don’t particularly like it. I used to just use the regular old Stihl orange round.
Echo black magic.095 I use it for everything. Works good for me
I leave my weedeater line in a bucket of water, keeps the line from drying out.
Black diamond I'm also using what Exterminator tried it's red 095 but it looks exactly like rotary twist and low noise??? 😊
Low Noise trimmer line is made by desert extrusion which is the same line as rotary vortex lines 095 and 130
Echo Black Diamond and Crossfire, usually .095. I edge with them but use a blade edger if there are long runs. I want to try .130.
I have a question - has anybody had a problem with the Echo plastic spools breaking if you have them on a trimmer line holder? I've had 3 in a row break and the line falls out, after years of never having the problem
Are You still testing every car shampoo ever made in history?
@@travisclarkin4277 no I stopped because I had very little viewership videos on those videos.
