Great video about that supplement. Keep going.
Thanks for your encouragement 😃
Haven’t had one ibuprofen in 4 mths. I have peripheral neuropathy & severe nerve spasms in my feet. My feet Are numb due to damaged nerves. Had spinal operation May 2023. Operation successful but Nerve spasms still severe. This is an incredible pain supplement. I still get nerve spasms but severity has decreased to 7/10. Reoccurrence has also decreased & I manage with just 2 Panadol. I wish everyone with chronic pain was informed about PEA & it’s amazing benefits so they can all get relief too. Best of all, it’s natural, our bodies manufacture it when we are well & there are no side effects. I purchase from Relieve Therapists, Victoria, Australia
It’s great to hear these sort of positive results! May I ask what dosage you are taking and how long it took to work?
@@EviePharmacist This is my 4th attempt to answer your questions! I will try again! The nerve spasms attack only my feet, different areas under &above the foot. The severity of the spasms lessened to 8/10 by end of 2nd week. End of 3rd week, I was amazed. Severity was 7/10 and the duration had lessened from 9-12 hrs to 6/7hrs. I was amazed. I now manage only with 2 Panadol (paracetamol) as soon as the spasms start. I no longer gasp and brace myself for the 10-15 seconds frequency. I also notice now some spasms are only 5/10 severity & last for 3/4 hrs. This absolutely works and everyone should be given the opportunity to use them for pain relief.
I was taking 2x500mg ibuprofen, sometimes even twice a day, and was concerned about damaging my kidneys/liver, so researched natural pain relief and found information on PEA palmitoyethanolamide. Purchased from Relieve Therapeutics Nutrition, Switzerland with branches throughout the world, because they have 600mg capsules, which include Quercetin and Luteolin. I take 2 micronised capsules when arising, on an empty stomach. This PEA also includes Quercetin & Luteolin.
The Rehabillitation hospital after my spinal operation started me with 10mg amitriptyline which did not help, but I still take them and hoping to stop these as well. Grateful thanks for your advice. I have been taking them since February 2024, 4mths now and hoping the spasms reduce even further,
@patriciabeatty2561 Thanks for sharing your story. I hope it can help others in pain as well. It’s really promising to hear that you managed to stop taking anti-inflammatories! 😃
This is such a great supplement that everyone should know about! Hope you enjoy the video 🙂
Great video. I was so happy to find it & to share my positive experience. My only query, how long can I continue taking PEA? When will it become too much in my body?
Thanks ☺️. In regard to how long you can continue to take it, most clinical studies have only been done for around 3 months. However there is anecdotal evidence of people taking it for a few years with no harmful effects. It isn’t addictive, people don’t seem to build a tolerance to it and it doesn’t appear to lose effectiveness over time. It’s always good to reassess your dosage once you get good pain control and consider reducing the dose to the lowest effective dose 🙂
Never heard about this before - thanks for the information Evie ❤
Considering the amount of positive studies I’m surprised more people haven’t heard of it!
Thank you for the info, Lovely lady 🙂
Thanks for watching 🙂
Well Said!!
Thanks ☺️
Great info. Could listen to you speak all day with nothing but a smile on my face. They view is nice too.
Thanks for the kind words ☺️
Just picked up a tub on Amazon! Thanks!!!
Lemme know how it goes! 🙂
@@EviePharmacistI will! Do you know about how long it’ll take to start working its magic?
It may depend on the type of pain. For headaches it can work as quick as ibuprofen within 1.5 hours. For more chronic pain you might see results within a week but it can take 1-2 months to see the benefits. Good to try it for at least 2-3 months 🙂
@@EviePharmacist Alright thanks! I appreciate the info! I got one more quick question. Is there any negative side affects when being taking alongside CBD?
@LongBeard67 Love the questions! There’s no human studies looking at PEA with CBD so we don’t know for sure however based on the way it works in the body there is unlikely to be negative side effects. Lab studies have actually shown a synergistic effect between hemp oil and PEA so whilst it’s not exactly the same, there’s a good chance that cbd may help PEA to work better.
This is an AI speaker. Very real.
I’m AI?? Lol
@@EviePharmacisthahahaha, she is not an AI, but is a good pharmacist.
Is this found in butter from cows that have been grass fed?
I don’t believe PEA is found in butter however PEA is synthesized from palmitic acid which is found in butter (less so in grass fed butter). There’s no good evidence that increasing palmitic acid in your diet will increase PEA so I wouldn’t bank on it 🙂
@@EviePharmacist Thanks 🙏
Is there a cream version
Yes you can get it in a cream! It may be hard to find as a product off the shelf but many compounding pharmacies will be able to make it up for you, although there aren’t many studies on PEA in a cream form. 🙂
Does it work in fibromyalgia?
Yes it can work for fibromyalgia, particularly as an add on to your current medication regime. It may however take a few months before it works 🙂
@@EviePharmacist Thankyou 🙂
@Beinformed7 you’re welcome ☺️
