Alpha Legionnaire: I am Alpharius ! Death Company Marine: Yeah so ? I'm Sanguineous ! Meanwhile the real Alpharius: I know who I am ! I'm a dude playing a dude pretending to be another dude!!
I’ve been saying for years Alpharius isn’t dead. The reason I’ve been saying it is, I can’t recall either book but there was a scene where Alpharius was testing Dorne with some of his legionnaires all pretending to be Alpharius. Dorne could always pick them out. Then when they fight later Alpharius uses the same trick, knowing it doesn’t work? No, I don’t believe so. I believe Dorne just killed a random Alpha legionnaire and Alpharius escaped seeing as Dorne couldn’t be convinced. It also allowed him freedom of movement when the galaxy thought he was dead.
Problem is that Omegon felt Alpharius die, with certainty. Though I must say that last time I read the book it was slightly unclear how the psychic reconstruction of Alpharius and Silonius worked. If they swapped bodies or if they only believed they did.
@@carrotslayer4806 In a weird way I think that more so proves my belief rather than debunks it. I think whatever he would have to do to convince Dorn he died would be capable of convincing Omegon. Apparently primarchs don’t just die in a normal way so he would have to somehow fake the psychic effects of a primarchs death, the explosion and whatever 6th sense Omegon has as his twin, as well as whatever Dorn has that makes him be able to pick him out. It’s been a long time since I read the books but I can’t remember if “alpharius” even exploded or not. However if even his twin thinks him gone, his legion and the galaxy thinks him gone, then he is completely free to interact with the Imperium and traitor legions as he sees fit. I get the sense it would take a directed and expensive effort of finding the real alpharius to even have a chance to succeed. It would be nearly impossible if you don’t even know to look for him to begin with. Idk, I’m not too personally invested. You are probably right. It’s just what I’ve believed since I first read the stories.
@@FormerGovernmentHuman As we learn in End in the Death, Dorn has an anti-psyker barrier that would likely prevent the explosion of light that results in a primach's death. After all, Alpharius is the only one he's killed so we can't prove it. Combined with Omegon verifying Alpharius is dead, I fully believe Alpharius is dead. It's simply Omegon assuming the role, and acting accordingly.
Your theory would explain Dorns behaviour during the seige of terra. You can tell he knows he didn't kill Alpharius so he keeps his mouth shut while they are talking about him being alive.
Remember when about a month ago on the first Alpha Legion video on the channel here i said "Alpharius is alive because when he "died" on Pluto the psychic spark that happens when a primarch dies was actually fake sort of like when the spy from Team Fortress 2 uses the dead ringer" and you replied "Clutch those pearls tight. Not even Dorn believed the silliness you are flippantly dismissing". The Tin Foil hat is permanently glued on my head now.
The emperor's corpse is actually Alpharius and Omegon stacked on top of each other for 10000 years and the emperor is still alive that will explain why the corpse doesnt have a right hand (alpharius and omegon is not big enough to disguise as the whole emperor)
I was always skeptical/hopeful that the legionnaire in the bequin was actually Alpharius. It would be very on point to be revealed yet simultaneously with unconfirmed. The passage you picked is interesting because it notes his size as smaller, which b threw me off due the legion being physically larger
The King in Yellow is obviously Alpharius. Abnett has been setting it up for years with Deathrow(The EC marine in the Bequin novel recognising him was obvious). And he has been dipping in and out of the warp to experiment with his custodes amd draw Eisenhorn and Ravenor to his new base. Obviously the Custodes would work with him, they know hes loyal, they would even say that they are working for Valdor(who as we all know is out hunting down his lost dog Russ). Hell, Valdor would even work with or for Alpharius, since hes known him and taught him the longest of any primarch. Im tempted to say that the custodes/null base that Bequin found at the end of the last book in on the other side of the portal to earth in the webway, or in the Impossible City and the plan all along was to ensure the daemons couldnt breach it before they ressurect big E... This is of course a lie. Because I am Alpharius.
No. It's not. Not in Pariah and not in Harrowmaster. They're both him (which admittedly could be Omegon but not a legionnaire). What kind of astartes can, when unarmored, slay an entire gang of augmetically enhanced humans...cutting one guy in half vertically without the blade even slowing on his pelvic bone, and then chopping that man in half horizontally before his parts began to fall, quartering him? Deathrow displays skills on a Primarch level. People say Teke "almost took him" all the time...and I then realize they didn't read it. Teke got impaled, by an unarmored man, who ran a regular sword through the front of his power armor and out his back through the power plant. Deathrow ruined Teke, and took a very superficial blow to the face which broke a regular, not even ceramite, helmet. What kind of single, and unarmored, astartes could do that? Alpharius/Omegon is here, and has been for a while. As for the Faceless...that's obvious that it's him.
Alpha Legion became my favorite legion thanks to this channel and Alpharius/Omegon is my top five favorite Primarchs. Though I believe whoever is holding that weapon, either a model of an Alpha legion astarte wearing Alpharius helmet or no helmet but looks or is a different person at face value(possibly wearing a fake mask), in the end, it will always be Alpharius.
@@InquisitorRomanov It would be nice if that were true. Just seems odd they’d give a recently named character the Pale Spear. Not trying to be a contrarian. I’m very much an Alpha Legion fan, and would be happy to see them take centerfold in anything.
This doesn’t make sense, I don’t think it’s alpharius. It’s likely a model for the AL’s current harrowmaster from the recent book. It’s story is current day in the setting so he’s the one who has the spear.
the pale spear doesn't necessarily mean it's alpharius (well, omegon) because, as you stated early on, it's currently weilded by akurra. with respect everything you've said here is conjecture, i seriously doubt they'd tease a traitor primarch for a different legion when the emperor's children are next in line for a refresh so it's almost certainly akurra
The teases on rumor engine have been from 1-2 years before the release sometimes and EC is imminent. So no overlap. Read Pariah. No conjecture there. I don’t know how big of a neon sign they need to hold up to get people to actually read it but it’s spelled out absolutely explicitly. Ask Dan Abnett if it’s conjecture, but there is nothing remotely unclear about it to me.
Don’t really want Alph to come back as is, but if he inhabits the spear tip and can control other Alpha Legion SM that hold it would be a unique take. If he could take posses their bodies and can reconstitute himself (at least temporarily) kinda like Trazyn that would be cool but to fully come back would make his death have less meaning.
I hope that if they bring back Alpharius, they never acknowledge it in the story, and never name his model. Release an "Alpha Legion Warmaster" kit that can be b 4:34 built in a couple ways.
**PSA: heavy head cannon and nicknames used** I've had my fingers crossed for years, I REALLY want an "alpharius played EVERY SINGLE ENTITY in the galaxy" moment. Like, then he stabs golden daddy, Gdad does he perpetual thing, and then gulliman, the lion the Khan and super Saiyan level crow load up and just hehe the shit out of the rest of the galaxy. Obviously some heavy fantasy there but that's how I'd like to see the end begin.
If you cut off a hydra's head what happens? Two more grow back in it's place. So I say, if you kill Alpharius, you get two. So if him and Omegon (the first number 2) died, then there should actually be 4...according to every trait a hydra had in mythology. And the Cabal makes a statement to this point in Legion as well.
Kinda like an alternate implementation of a perpetual? He's got a legion of bodies, and can just float between them as necessary? That'd be pretty cool
@@InquisitorRomanovI do think alpharius is alive but not the individual in the bequin novel as death row cannot be Alpharius but he can be others like Cyther who’s always evading the imperium yet doing things to help them by leading the imperium to chaos strongholds and Other important events while on the run
I've always loved the idea that alpaharius Is posing as just some random Space Marine either in the alpha legion or somewhere else would would make it even more fitting/ ironic is that he would be the only alpha legion member who doesn't go by the name Alpaharius
Called it, as in GW wants to make more money, so they'll just retcon the story over and over to bring back as much primarchs as they can. My bet is that 2 and 11 will be back thanks to having been sent to the future to save humanity and the whole memory erasure is just a way to hide the truth.
My headcanon from a while back from tts was that the menial the emperor brought into the throne room was alpharius. Knowing he is in the queue to return makes me smile
Welp, I was gonna stop at 4 armies but I really love Alpha Legion, so maybe I'll do another. Right now I'm still working on my first 2 though, so maybe next I'll work on Grey Knights and Alpha Legion
I've read everything 1000 times over, I am hardcore AL. I have one of the biggest Truescale magnatised alpha legion army for heresy in the world. I'm also a drukhari player for 15 years and I know there spears.
I'm Not saying Omegon or Alpharius doesn't appear in Pandamonuum along with Pech but the spear gw has shown isn't that I think they are playing mind games with AL fans It's possible though it's the spear and gw model makers are making it look different and being inconsistent with imagery and lore GW is really inconsistent with so much especially art and lore Only person I have faith in is abnett Just awaiting pandamonuum
As much as I have fantasized about Alpharius returning to the current setting, I think it's best he never returns. It would just shatter so much of the facade and mystery that makes him cool. I also think that the Alpha Legion should have its own completely seperate codex and they should be a faction that stands alone with their own goals.
If they were really going to bring him back would his spear really be such a plain design im sure GW would definately put some flare into its design Especially after seeing what they've done with Mortarion and Angron's weapons
The design has been set as it is for many years already. There is a 30K model already, and plenty of art. It is ancient xenos tech, said to be older even than the Eldar race. I actually love that it is pretty plain.
@@InquisitorRomanov I get that but i would have thought that being a primarch weapon they would have made it a little more ornate but i guess they could be hiding a hydra stylized shaft who know's all i know is that its a very exciting reveal either way.
What we didn't know what that Alpharius and Omegon's unlocked Warp Power is to mind swap into other bodies. And we will see an Alpha Legion primarch take the perfect clone of Fulgrim for a ride ;)
Honestly, I feel like since every loyalist legion has at least 1 miniature , same should apply for chaos undivided. Of course a named character is good, but I think an addition unit would be good: Alpha Legion - a sniper character, lone operative, can instantly climb buildings if wanted, get benefit of cover if simply near , but not behind a building, probably would give similar gun looks and profile as the one of Exodus, the melee is a close combat though. Iron Warriors - they produce lots of guns and have many obliterators. My idea is “Exalted Obliterator”, big like dreadnought, bigger than Hellbrute, can use only one, has all gun profiles of Hellbrute, but the melee is a stomp, has greater wound and armor than Hellbrute, of course Warp Smith can heal him so this makes him even stronger, a lot of gun profiles have added heavy keyword too. Word Bearers - just give them Greater Possessed, make it a fast moving, high leadership unit of 1-2 dudes. Melee only, but they have fight first and their attacks are improved version of regular possessed unit. Also give them better moving distance or give them assault keyword, or give them both.Low armor/toughness stats, but kills allow them to roll D3 to regain wounds just like how many demons do.
Been a while since I've kept up with the books/lore but the Alpha boi's have always been among my favorites just because you can't trust anything you think you know about them. I'd love to have it confirmed one way or the other whether Alpharius was still around and kicking, guess I'll have to keep an eye out!
this could become nasty if he unites alpha legion again. though i had hoped th ebig reveal wouldve been the return of perturabo uniting entire iron warriors
I honestly feel that’s coming too. GW said 2025 will be the year of chaos. I bet we’ll see Forgebreaker in the rumor engine soon enough. I feel there’s no reason not to give us all the chaos legions coming in full force.
@@InquisitorRomanov something i would love to see is the rise of new chaos force like perturabo returns works with that new demon lord to gain more machines then even allies with red corsairs finding huron a competent leader that wouldnt have wasted his iron warriors like the emperor. since we all know red corsairs are becoming a problem for black legion
So I, Alpharius, did some comparisons with a few illustrations from the Alpha Legion books I own which sports the Pale Spear on the cover: Renegades Harrowmaster, Alpharius Head of the Hydra and Praetorian of Dorn. I also took a look on the Alpharius 30k mini. The Pale Spear looks different in all images. The rumor image is no exception. It actually looks the most different aside from the cover of Praetorian of Dorn, which sports two identical blades on the ends, both in the style of the end usually portrayed as the "bottom" one (a single wide blade, not twin points). The rumor image is the only version of the Pale Spear twin point blade where the upper protruding points are only swept forward. Every other depiction have points swept forward and backwards beside each other.
But this would be perfect if the reveal is an Alpha Legion kill team. A small group lead by a legionnaire claiming to be Alpharius, armed with a spear that looks *almost* the same as the Pale Spear, just to seal the deal.
I could see building a warband out of Alpharius Models just as a nod to the legions tendency to have all members present answer that their name is Alpharius even when multiple legionnaires were present.
@@InquisitorRomanov But if the Real Alpharius has a different name, then wouldn't it be easy to be identified by the other players? I on the other hand would put an Identification Number under all their bases Then at the beginning of each game i would extract a number from a bowl and have the Alpharius with that Number be the True Alpharius And in true Alpharius' Fashion then i would check the Numbers under the Alpharius only after they are eliminated and removed from the game 😂
when i heard ancient astartes waith faded armour and a doggo i was like "holy shit its narvo quin" i love that guy. literally explored all the realms of slaanesh and didnt get corrupted.
I see why you'd think that. But it's fully Alpharius. I mean, the dog is a clue. It's a total badass...and yet it follows the true Alpha. Plus he cut a man into four pieces while still standing on his feet, in half down the middle, then horizontally before the pieces fell away. The way he put the smackdown on a whole gang of augmented humans was beyond even a space marine. People claim Teke nearly killed him, but those people obviously haven't read it. But if it isn't Alpharius, I love your take on who it is. But it's totally Alpharius...who, of course would totally come back and nobody even believed it, which is total Alpha Legion. It's him leading The Faceless too, I believe.

What about the explosion of light and the wind coming from alpharious as he dies?
Your theory would explain Dorns behaviour during the seige of terra. You can tell he knows he didn't kill Alpharius so he keeps his mouth shut while they are talking about him being alive.
This has some Star Wars episode 9 vibes

That's hilarious!
I was always skeptical/hopeful that the legionnaire in the bequin was actually Alpharius. It would be very on point to be revealed yet simultaneously with unconfirmed. The passage you picked is interesting because it notes his size as smaller, which b threw me off due the legion being physically larger
At this point, who isnt Alpharius?
If they claim not to be then you can't trust them...and they're probably Alpharius.

That's Omegon, using his very dead brother's name.
or a random Legionary using his name, which Aplarius encouraged.
No.

This doesn’t make sense, I don’t think it’s alpharius. It’s likely a model for the AL’s current harrowmaster from the recent book. It’s story is current day in the setting so he’s the one who has the spear.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, that’s exactly one of the plot points of the video. Thanks for watching 🤣🤣🤣
the pale spear doesn't necessarily mean it's alpharius (well, omegon) because, as you stated early on, it's currently weilded by akurra. with respect everything you've said here is conjecture, i seriously doubt they'd tease a traitor primarch for a different legion when the emperor's children are next in line for a refresh so it's almost certainly akurra

Do you have the link to this rumor engine article? I can't find it and I would like to share it to my friends ^^
It's right on the Warhammer Community home page...it's only a few days old. VERY easy find.
What death? Omegon’s? Dorn killed nobody. Hydra Dominatus!
I hope that if they bring back Alpharius, they never acknowledge it in the story, and never name his model. Release an "Alpha Legion Warmaster" kit that can be b 4:34 built in a couple ways.
He’s already back. Deathrow is Alpharius
**PSA: heavy head cannon and nicknames used**
I've had my fingers crossed for years, I REALLY want an "alpharius played EVERY SINGLE ENTITY in the galaxy" moment.
I actually really like this
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
So my mind lore on Alpharius.. His unique power is that he can possess any Alpha Legionnaire with his gene seed. Every Legionnaire is Alpharius.
Dude I love your work, especially regarding the Alpha Legion, my two close to the heart chapters, Dark Angels and Alpha Legion.
My favorite legions by far
Alpharius has been hiding in plane site. He is the bald dude working at 7/11. The same guy who works at 8 different locations.
How can we explain this? I guess that some Alpha Legionaire got norted by Alpharius. A decoy was killed.
I've always loved the idea that alpaharius Is posing as just some random Space Marine either in the alpha legion or somewhere else would would make it even more fitting/ ironic is that he would be the only alpha legion member who doesn't go by the name Alpaharius
Yeah, he goes by Deathrow
Called it, as in GW wants to make more money, so they'll just retcon the story over and over to bring back as much primarchs as they can. My bet is that 2 and 11 will be back thanks to having been sent to the future to save humanity and the whole memory erasure is just a way to hide the truth.
Pretty sure this isnt alpharius, money screams this will be Soloman a unique hq for alpha legion.
Who cares who the plastic is for? Alpharius is totally Deathrow, and working in the background the whole time.

Welp, I was gonna stop at 4 armies but I really love Alpha Legion, so maybe I'll do another. Right now I'm still working on my first 2 though, so maybe next I'll work on Grey Knights and Alpha Legion
You have to do Alpha Legion. I mean, any excuse to paint teal.
It's probably a drukhari beast master spear. Maybe they made Solomons character in 40k? It's not Alpharius in 40k
Have you read Pariah?
I've read everything 1000 times over, I am hardcore AL. I have one of the biggest Truescale magnatised alpha legion army for heresy in the world. I'm also a drukhari player for 15 years and I know there spears.
I think vulkan is the yellow king or the domain architect
I'm Not saying Omegon or Alpharius doesn't appear in Pandamonuum along with Pech but the spear gw has shown isn't that
I think they are playing mind games with AL fans
It's possible though it's the spear and gw model makers are making it look different and being inconsistent with imagery and lore
GW is really inconsistent with so much especially art and lore
Only person I have faith in is abnett
Just awaiting pandamonuum
As much as I have fantasized about Alpharius returning to the current setting, I think it's best he never returns. It would just shatter so much of the facade and mystery that makes him cool. I also think that the Alpha Legion should have its own completely seperate codex and they should be a faction that stands alone with their own goals.
I saw a good presentation that Alpharius who is with Eisenhorn is Ingo Pech, finally unfrozen after John Gramaticus put him in such a state on Terra.
Interesting indeed. Eisenhorn and Alpharius are just perfect together.
But…admittedly so is Alpharius and the King in Yellow.

Honestly, I feel like since every loyalist legion has at least 1 miniature , same should apply for chaos undivided. Of course a named character is good, but I think an addition unit would be good:
Alpha Legion - a sniper character, lone operative, can instantly climb buildings if wanted, get benefit of cover if simply near , but not behind a building, probably would give similar gun looks and profile as the one of Exodus, the melee is a close combat though.
Yeah, they're by far the most interesting faction. I just can't get enough of them.
Dude this is sick, the primarch for one of my top 3 legions is back
Indeed
I hope this is true cause it would validate a dozen arguments ive gotten into over dorn definitely not being the guy to catch alpharius
100% right there with you
this could become nasty if he unites alpha legion again. though i had hoped th ebig reveal wouldve been the return of perturabo uniting entire iron warriors
I am Alpharius.
I like the idea of alpha legion being a double agents
They're definitely double agents
The question is which side they're "doubling" as it were😅
I love using my Alpha Legion Army as ether traitor or loyalist force depending on my mood that day.
I could see building a warband out of Alpharius Models just as a nod to the legions tendency to have all members present answer that their name is Alpharius even when multiple legionnaires were present.
If I did this I would do all the bases with name plates that say Alpharius, except the actual Alpharius, who I'd name something like Tom or Deathrow.
@ yess I think so Alpharius
@@InquisitorRomanov
But if the Real Alpharius has a different name, then wouldn't it be easy to be identified by the other players?
I on the other hand would put an Identification Number under all their bases

And in true Alpharius' Fashion then i would check the Numbers under the Alpharius only after they are eliminated and removed from the game
