Watched part 1 last night and followed along. It was great! So pleased to watch the second part of the process as well! I’m really loving your videos and your quirkiness! ❤😂😊 Thanks Mr Legend! 🙏🏽
Nice, concise, easy to digest video to something that could get very complicated and niche. I used to work with Illustrator a lot back in the day when some of the short cut tools weren't available. The anchor point Nazis are shaking their heads. But us artist/designers just figure out a way to get the job done.
I'm just getting into starting my digital artwork journey and absolutely love using Adobe Fresco! I started making a few vector pieces and wanting to get to the next stage of finalizing my artwork, but was curious, can you do all of the final editing in Illustrator, on your Ipad? I would really like to be able to not have to depend on transferring over to my desktop, and staying on the Ipad, especially when I'm not at home, working on stuff! Is this possible? Sorry for being so clueless lol
@@chris-piascik Love your content! I work in Illustrator but know nothing about Fresco. Thank-you for all your hard work in making these amazing videos.
Hey Chris, love your content and illustration style. Do you ever use the Smooth pencil tool to reduce the number of points? I find it super useful. Hidden behind the pencil tool I believe. You just draw over existing lines and it simplifies and smoothes them out.
Thanks! Is that in illustrator? I haven’t used that feature as the simplify thing has always worked well enough for what I need. Sounds cool though, I’ll have to try it out.
Excellent video! I had no idea they did sticker sheets. After watching this, I went to check it out and eventually found it through the templates link. I wonder if the quality is the same as their regular matte stickers 🤔 I hope so. I’ve been wanting to design a sheet, but now I’m excited to have an option other than sticker app! Thanks Chris 👍
Sure, the process would be a little different but you can definitely make stickers from a photo. You’d just need to convert it to an image in your layer settings.
dude... you're gonna laugh... I forgot how to add my sticker file to the template (so all the layers are on one project like in the video). I've AI twice so I for the life of me can't remember how I did it.

Glad you enjoyed it! 😊😊😊
thanks for showing the whole process.
In Pathfinder, select Divide and then Unite and it'll automatically fill the holes. Then offset path.
Thanks for the tip!

Thanks! I used to be pretty particular with my points in curves in my logo design days-but for things like this-it's total overkill.
Thank you this was so helpful
Glad you thought so!
I just texted you about stickers like an hour ago 🤣 what a co-ink-e-dink
Ha!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you! This was a good tutorial.

I am also curious about this!
Great tips man
Glad you think so!
Put shortcuts on the Select All Same Fill and Select All Same Stroke. Its life changing.
Cool, I’ll try that. I’ve been using the same workflow in AI for so long that I forget to keep up with updates.

Thanks! Mine arrive today, I’ll update back on the quality.
Can you do this from a photo ? To do stickers of a person for example

Is it just me or is there not a stickermule link in the description? I can't find it...
I'm a dummy and forgot to put it there. I just added it. But here it is www.stickermule.com/unlock?ref_id=6825460701&
Did you make these in rgb or cmyk?
This was RGB. This sticker company doesn’t print individual ink colors so rgb was fine.
@@chris-piascik thanks! Dropping about 15 stickers for work, but our printer wants 4-color process. Fun times.
Why send it to illustrator and not stay in fresco? Genuine question
There's not an easy way to do the precise path for the kiss cut guides in Fresco. It's just a matter of a couple clicks in Illustrator.

You're really gonna laugh... I figured it out right after asking.
yo man, I've been trying to figure out a better way to make sticker sheets. SUPER helpful, stay rad my friend
Oh nice! Glad this was useful! Thanks!
