As I want to pursue sticker making, this video was very helpful, Chris. I will very much look forward to part 2. I don't have AI, but Affinity Designer, so I hope I'll be able to watch your AI video and "translate" it to AD. :) In any case, thank you for these videos!
Thanks! That video is up already. Unfortunately I haven’t had any experience with Affinity so I can’t say if it will translate, but I imagine a bunch will.
I did your older pattern stuff in Ps as well. First drew all figures. Today I did this exercise. Learning a lot and thanks a lot! I hope offsetting tool will arrive to Fresco and audio for animation. 🎉
The video was not getting too long 😕 I love the longer videos like 1h or longer. It’s a whole vibe and helps me while drawing too cuz it’s like I’m drawing along with a friend. Please make longer videos 🙏🏻
thanks so much for these videos, they help me keep on task while doing my own art- for idk the reason 🤔lol also, could try making emoji stickers for iOS? big things happening in update 17 this fall! thanks again!
I Came across this video and I love it. I didn't know Adobe came out with Fresco. It's like procreate but vector correct format? Which of your videos show in depth tutorials on learning Fresco? I would love to master it.
Thanks! Fresco is a comprehensive illustration app that combines vector and pixel-based workflows, with crazy “live” watercolor and oil brushes, in addition to some great motion features. It started when Adobe combined there 2 previous mobile drawing apps Draw and Sketch. At the end of your Darkboard Vs Sketchboard Pro video, you mentioned that you gravitated more towards the Darkboard. However, in this video, you’re using the Sketchboard Pro. Have you changed your mind about it? If so, why?
I think if I could only keep one it would be the DarkBoard, but I switch them often. I like the slightly bigger size of the Sketchboard Pro, but I am a larger person. It’s a subtle difference though. I think I like the angle of the Darkboard better.
@@chris-piascik Thank you. Yeah, I'm a bigger guy too and I know I would appreciate the bigger size of the Sketchboard Pro, but based on your video, I think I'm going to go for the Darkboard because of how light it is. Thank you for your help.
I'm not sure. Nothing would have changed in the export process with registration. When you zoom in is it aligned? Sometimes it's just a vector preview thing.
I don't know but the colours were shifted here and there whereas they were placed correctly in original Fresco document. Ultimately I had to use a psd file via export.
I only used 800dpi for the drawing experience. 4" wide at 300dpi is only 1200 pixels, so when I'm zoomed in drawing one of the stickers the art would look very pixelated. If I was doing an 8x11" sticker sheet I'd be at 2400pixels wide which is still a bit small for my preference so I might bump it up to 600 or 800dpi. Again, this is just for the drawing experience. The print file just needs to be a minimum of 300dpi at 100% size (IE 8x11")
Chris. I like your videos so much. Did not mess up the ending. This was great. Can't wait to see part 2.
Haha thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Fun to watch you draw while you discuss your process. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!

OMG The touch vector shortcut is a blessing! I thought I can't erase smoothly lines because I'm a loser.
😂 glad I could help!
@@chris-piascik May I ask if you have Polish roots? You have Polish surname.
love watching your vids man. I can't draw worth a thing, but I want to start.
Thanks so much! You should start drawing! That's the only way to get better.

is it an ipad you use or what do you recommend to start drawing on :) ?
Hi - great video. What program is this that you’re drawing in?
Thanks, it’s Adobe Fresco.

That skeleton glove is so Cobra Kai. 🐍
😎
How can i have the skech?
Why didn't the colours register properly when I brought a pdf made in Fresco to Illustrator, could you please explain?

im subscribing for the sad hotdog in weird skin
He appreciates it.
I wish they would put fresco on Samsung tablets. I'll stick with clip studio
I hear good things about Clip Studio.
Question. For a 4x6 u used 800 dpi. Does that mean for a 8x11 sticker sheet it’ll be 1600dpi?

Okay I get it now, thanks for explaining!
