One of the best things about Rush is that it REALLY pulls you into the character. He sounds absolutely nothing like any other character he's done. I don't want to say his "American accent" is great. Ellis has said many MANY times that you can't just do an American accent. You have a play an American. So I'll say that he plays an American very well.

What's cool about Tom's transformation here is, it was a lost bet. His trainer bet him if the show got picked up, Tom would have to submit to his trainer's whims who wanted to push Tom farther than he'd gone with his training up until that point. With the right diet and program, he gained 20 pounds of muscle in three months between seasons. This is exactly what you want in a trainer, someone who, for one, knows what they're doing, but also knows how to get you motivated to put the work in.

Well obviously, it takes a huge amount of time to make. They started filming season 5 in, oh what could it have been.. September ? But luckily it’s said to be out this year. There was a show that people had to wait *eighteen* years for just another season.

When I saw this video for the 1st time roughly 2-3 years ago (months after this video was posted), I was shocked to find out that he worked out this much for Season 4 of “Lucifer”. I’m impressed that he transformed his body just to prepare for the show, but I’m also jealous because he’s healthy & I’m overweight.
