    Wish i was as chilled as you! You weren't even phased at all, just wearing flip-flops also! I need a neighbour like you to pick their brains and give me confidence to attempt these jobs. 😁

      Haha thanks heaps! 😁
      I worry about my neighbors sometimes when I rev up my other cars though, but I don’t do it very often so it should be ok!

    Just got a hand me down Subaru Liberty RX 2001 model, and I thought this would be a good idea. Then I saw your video. Should be somewhat similar in practice to do. Thanks legend.

      Sounds good and that’s a nice car to get, hopefully it’s a similar job and improves the fuel economy too!

    Great install video & a great mod given the blind spots on the SH forester (experience).

    Nice job, mate. And here I was wondering how to install these so if the rear bumper cover had to come off, it wouldn't yank everything out! I wouldn't worry about the display however, just the sound would be sufficient.

      Ok cheers buddy, yeah the sounds pretty good to know when you’re getting close to something.

    Yes test it out before full install.. The first kit I had some defective sensors. I ordered another kit and so far no issues. I bought another spare kit. Just to have.

      Oh that’s a good idea! I’ve only ever brought 2 of these and luckily they both worked for me! But I like having spare stuff too!

    It is there anyway to lower down the volume? i have it and i think is very loud.

      Oh maybe, but I’d think just putting some layers of tape over the speaker would probably change the sound. I’d start with that!

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  Рік тому

      Ohh it was well before I started my UA-cam channel so I didn’t document it, it was back in 2016, I’m pretty sure I did remove the rear bumper though, but from memory it wasn’t such a difficult job luckily!

    nice video, can i ask what drill did you use to drill and make the hole?

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  Рік тому +1

      Thanks heaps buddy, the little hole saw came in the kit with the sensors if that's what you mean, and the drill I used was just a Ryobi cordless!

    You do not need sensors. When you back up stop when you hit something.

      I know you don’t have to have them but I think they’re kinda cool to have! And it was cheap and easy to put them in anyway! Haha 😁

      @@ScubaMade Do you know what company makes them and also have you had any problems with them?

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  2 роки тому

      I’m not sure what company makes them exactly, there are many different sellers selling them so I just got some that were cheap and they seem to work properly!
