I fitted mine today(same as your setup) I would suggest fitting them lower below the reg plate, due to some small fence/walls. Great video easy to follow.

I just bought today from ebay.
I can see its written on a box. But nothing is mention on sensors.

Important. For H model it is the red wire to connect to the white wire with black stripe for reverse light. The white only wire is for the sidelights.
Hi.
Where does the black 0V wire go from the parking sensor unit? The video shows him connect it to "power" wire but that can't be right, can it? From my understanding the red wire connecting to the reverse white wire is providing the 12V so black wire should be for neutral/ground.
Great video and very well explained well done 👍.... but just be gentle and let the drill do the work and no need to push to hard on the drill (only a suggestion not a criticism) but you did great - nice job my friend.

Black and white wire for astra. Lol I learnt how to do watching your video. And I just did a astra and cut the wire going on your vid. But it was the black and white Wire for reverse.
When having that many wires should keep track of which one goes to which sensor by 1 2 3 4

Hi thanks a lot for the video, it's really helpful. I have an opel astra, and the parking kit comes with 8 sensors (4 front, 4 rear). And how do I know which is the wire for the ACC and GND in my case?
My rear parking sensors suddenly stopped working. The front works just fine. What could be the problem and how do I go about checking this? Can't afford to go to the garage 😢 The car is a Vauxhall 2009

Does the black wire from the power go to a ground? You connected it to 'power' you said, is that 12v? I guess not if the reverse wire where you connected red wire to is the 12v?

Tried this on my 56 plate astra hatchback but doesnt work. Ive tested the reversing sensors and that all work fine though

Will it work without drilling? I just want to place sensors to the rear side of the trunk.
The sensors will work if wires are connected properly however, for this type of installation drilling is required.

I have a astra 07. Black great video. How do you connect the wires. Did you use a wire stripper and wind them together than use electrical tape ?

Yeah wire cutter, also, it does matter about winding the wires on reverse and power. Needs to be the correct ones to operate

How can you check which wire is the power and reverse wire?
You can check by turning the ignition (not fully) and switch to reverse gear and connect (temporarily) on each wire until the monitor switches on and you start hearing beep sounds. Hope this helps
And how do i know which wire is the power wire? I need to connect black with the power wire.
Hard Loper You find that out by connecting it (temporary) to all the wires and once the parking sensors turns on then you know that is the power wire as the parking sensor will not turn on if connected to any other wires

Thank you for the video. Ill be honest I’m having issues. I put the red wire with the white and the black wire with the brown and all that happens is the sensor makes an audible bleep. Do you think I have a faulty device?

Hey bro, to make things much easier, I switched my ignition on and left it in reverse gear and temporarily connected the power wire to each slot on the tail lamp light Wiring Harness until the parking sensors started to beep, that’s how you know which wire the power wire is meant to connect to. Hope this helps :)
