Hey buddy , just wanted you too know I been watching your channel now for a couple of years , and I've seen you go threw a lot of struggles , always facing them with a very optimistic attitude and an uplifting spirit . I just wanted to wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and an absolutely amazing NEW YEAR !!!! Never forget GOD LOVES YOU . Keep on keepin on and putting out those vids . Great things are coming your way !!!
I've always wanted to do this to my truck, for camping and in case I get stuck in stopped traffic on a pass in the winter.. accidents and what not. Can't wait to see it all completed. Very cool!
That is a good idea. Hopefully you keep the seats lol. Don't forget you probably will have to add something to the diesel to keep it from gelling up when it gets really cold.
Hi mate. Just a little concerned with your exhaust pipe. It looks like it goes down and back up slightly. This can get a moisture buildup. Exhaust should be on a slight downhill to stop any moisture buildup. This is just what I have learnt in the past. not criticising what you do. Love the channel keep up the good work. See you in the next one. Stay safe👍🇬🇧
Why not use a "Little Buddy" heater and not cut holes in the truck, mount this Chinese made stinky junk and have diesel fuel sloshing around the bed of the truck? No wiring, no holes just a small portable heater and propane bottles.
@@Beni_777 Many people use them in vans and RV's, crack the windows and he should have a CO detector regardless of what heater he uses. Those diesel heaters are loud and smelly but whatever.
There is a young man in Canada about your age who might have some tips and tricks regarding those heaters. Hope you don't mind me sharing. Bruce channel is Bruce van life jr. He's had a few fail and repairs them. Feel free to delete my message after you read it. Have a merry Christmas. Ricky
Looking forward to some stealth camping in the Rusty.
Yeah, shouldnt be hard to hide that big old truck with the heater going full blast. Not very stealth but looks like its got the room.Should be fun.

Sweet install man.
Merry Christmas and a very happy new year, look forward to seeing more videos, really enjoy Rusty and Patches videos
Cheers, Gavin & Judy
Nice thing about those heaters you won't have the moisture and mold issues. Nice dry heat.
Hope you had a very Merry Christmas. Loving ALL your videos. You have a very calm and soothing voice and way about you.

Nathan! The diesel heater expert! Thank you for your advice getting mine powered up with a permanent power supply. Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas! :)
Merry Christmas Nate - I would look into running the exhaust as far away from the cab as possible. Great work.
Please put a carbon monoxide detector in there.. love your content. Keep on keeping on

6 likes in 8 minutes,pretty good.
A Perforated Soda Can Shield might keep the intake from mud clogging, and salt slag...
Loud smelly and way overkill....but hey it works..
My advice is get the exhaust away from the air intake
That air intake isn't going into the cab. It's just for combustion. The heater inside just circulates and heats the air inside the cab alone.
Did you keep that auxillary fuel tank from jimmy? That could be a slick set up.

I'd think burning propane with an open flame is not only a fire hazard, but it'd fill up the cabin with exhaust gases.
And condensation.
