Works great I love it. Fired up the heater from my bed and had a nice warm cab when I left for work. Inside the truck when driving can’t hear it at all. I love it!!! Video was awesome and fun to watch thanks again brother, we love you!
I got a friend of mine whos heater doesn't work and we live up in Wisconsin where its -20 during the winter, I didn't even think of a diesel heater until seeing this video and honestly might suggested it to my friend. Even if we dont decide to put a disel heater in this was still a fun video.
It's called backstrap brother, or at least that's what I've always referred to it as, but excellent video, it's no wonder you're the new king of youtube!
When I used to run WMO (waste motor oil) throughy my 7.3 superduty, I would first let the WMO sit for a few weeks to allow the water and sediment to sink to the bottom of the container (55 gallon barrel). I then siphoned off the top and ran it through a 20, 10, and then a 5 micron filter. I then mixed the clean filtered WMO with diesel at a rate of 60% WMO to 40% diesel. I put many, many miles on that truck using WMO. You may have to find the correct ratio if you mix. Test different mixes and a viscosity close to diesel. But at any rate, the oil needs to be cleaned.
I don't know about the china heaters, but I know the brand name Webasto heaters will quit working over time even on straight diesel. And all you have to do is take apart the burner and clean the soot out of the combustion chamber and change the center gasket and away they go.
thanks for the update on the waste oil heater video I am looking forward to when you get it fixed your heater videos are nice and detailed and I hope you can get it going again good luck.
Looks, good. A few things I would have done differently is grade 8 hardware for the seat, and I would have flush mounted the tank to the back of the cab in the bed to make it better to fill the tank. That's going to suck in the winter or if you get the truck muddy.
You know what would have been so much easier is to have just mounted a heater core under the seat reroute the coolant lines through the floorboards and install electric fan with a switch
I think I would have spent the time and money putting in a new heater core and hoses, although that's got to me nice for if you want something to preheat the cab in the morning.
Doesn't really help me at all, but its cool and your energy is chaotic and I am in to it. Although, kind of gives me the idea to install one of these in my Tahoe to be able to pre-heat it on cold mornings lol.

Glad to hear! I wanted to call you and ask, but a comment here is better so everyone can know!
This dude just thanked him for arguably the worst install in the history of installs lol” not my truck” 😂😂😂😂😂
Dude it would be so sick to hook this up to the vents in the car lol.
Definition of “I know someone that does it cheaper “😂
I definitely learned what not to do thanks for sharing.

Plumbers tape
Plumber's tape.
30seconds in and already cracking up. I'm here for it.
Installing one in my Express 3500 in the Walmart parking lot tomorrow. Nice overview of the install and what to expect. Cheers!
Good luck!

I will run another test with centrifuged oil
That’s cool you did that for a buddy. Way better than nothing and it looks pretty easy to do

This video helped as I am putting the same bunk heater in my Kenworth.

Plumbing strap. Video was very helpful thank you
Not a bad diy heater core fix on the cheap and easy
Damn….. putting a heater core would of only took 3hrs 4 max 😂
I love rednecking shit but this was way more work than fixing it the right way 😭😭😭
@ You right 🤣😂 for the content as well, enjoyed it

Genuine question, was this easier than fixing the heater core?
Your amzing thabk you , just what i needed
Not my truck good enough is the wrong attitude
Has the truck burned down yet?
Nope but of course now that the heat problem is fixed it blew out a spark plug… you can never win with a Ford.
It blew a spark plug out yesterday. Damn Ford Tritons….
I'm speechless :)

Outrageous
Lot of effort to avoid fixing it correctly,,,,,,
