Poor kid. Instead of protecting a child from her homicidal dad, the cops killed her themselves when she did exactly what they told her.
But muh police safety! A scared unarmed 15 year old girl was walking towards one of the cops so they had to take her out for his safety.
Don't be a know it all, she just as well was one of the shooters against the cops with her father. You must be sexist, if the kid was a guy you'd be more inclined to think he was a threat to the cops, just cuz it is a girl you think "she" is so innocent. No one had a clue if she had something to do with the mother being shot or not. Cops have the right to defend themselves. She was with her father of her own free will, knew he killed her mother, she went with the father and into a store and bought 2 sodas and her father let her go obviously trusting she wouldn't rat him out. If an officer gave an order and the victim got shot by another officer because she obeyed such order, the police is obviously to blame, whether there was intent or mere negligence. The officers up the embankement were there strictly for support against a possible escape attempt, they had absolutely no business interfering with the arrest perimeter. They MURDERED that poor girl instead of Rescuing her! May she rest in peace. 💔🙏🕊️💐🕊️
No difference between Soldier and Police.
Both claim to be trained in Firearms........Both are Government employees
@@christinebuckingham8369 yes they did and why is that deputy not being held accountable?
@@statementleaver8095 Soldiers are better trained, and far less likely to be this incompetent.

How so? I'm not a murderous, armed to the teeth Dad on the run from the law.
@@moreygloss9248your wife might be tho, we don’t know
Ummmm, no it could not. And it is scary that you can write that in a serious manner
Which third world country did this take place in?
California. The worst third world country in the world.
Such a tragic end for young Savanah
I think this was negligent to a criminal level. The police didn't need to keep shooting once the truck was disabled and could have waited a fucking minute for the girl they knew was in there to be clear. Once the helicopter was on the truck they didn't even need to continue the pursuit like they did.
So once the truck was disabled the murderer will decide to stop shooting or do his guns also stop working? Who makes the decision whether or not the truck is disabled? If there is a helicopter in the air the guy who just killed a woman isn't going to harm the child or other members of the public? It appeared that gunfire was coming from the truck even with the helicopter in the air.
We've investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong. The police showed a level of incompetence that is frightening. Like time and time again, we see insufficient training. I understand that being a police officer can be a stressful, dangerous job.
There's nothing incriminating on our body cam footage, so we don't need to make it public.
@@allancouceiro9255 That’s why we never turn our body cameras on.
Modern problems require modern solutions!
Something needs to be changed in training or protocols. I understand that it's a volatile situation but there should never be a situation where one officer's directions are determined as an imminent threat on life by another.
We need to demand longer training for police and maybe don’t teach them to be super paranoid seeing as a paranoid person with a gun and qualified immunity is a deadly combination.
Oh and more training on dealing with disabled people especially deaf/hoh communities.
This is such a terrible tragedy. There is one that is even worse, where this cop with an assault rifle just unloaded on this unarmed innocent guy who was just following his simon-says orders.
Absolutely tragic. What became of Savannah’s brother? He’s the only one left…
One of the channels I support just got hacked by scammers. Just a reminder to Dr Grande not to click on attachments from people who say they want to advertise on your channel. I would hate for you to lose your youtube channel. All the best.

It’s been a bad week for Victorville, about a week ago, Victorville police shot and killed a mentally challenged kid, he had a gardening tool…couple days ago, this story, then either yesterday or today shot and killed another kid during a bathroom scuffle…
I think these officers need to be retrained. 😮
The police are literal serial killers of children at this point...
And they're legally allowed to do it 😢
Obviously there is blood lust among the law enforcement officers in that town.
@@katc2040legal like the Nazis legally gassed the Jews. Same type of legal.
Let me guess, the police will investigate themselves and find no wrong doing.
Im curious whether LE tested Savannahs hands for GSR? Im assuming her father dressed her in the tactical gear and helmet - he knew what was coming and may have actually cared about her (but not enough, clearly).
Precisely what I was thinking 🤔
You must be kidding. If he cared, she wouldn't be in that car at all.
@Inuus crazy people do still care in their own messed way and what seems like obviously disturbing behavior to the rest of us it's totally normal in their brain dude obviously had an arsenal so yeah I think in some crazy way I think he thought he could protect her or he perceived the world was taking his family and he wasn't about to let that happen. Still just imagine being a teenager your dad guns down your mom and takes you makes you wear body armor your in a high speed police chase and hes shooting his gun maybe he started yelling at her saying she needed to help him or these people were going to take him away from her there's so many different possibilities that it just seems heartless to try and justify why she had to die even if she wanted to be there!! You should be able to trust your parents
I'm sure Savanah dressed herself in the tactical gear. She was a thug in the making shooting out the passenger side of the car. Poor child - my ass. Girls do many violent crimes today. Gender means nothing.
@@InuusExactly. I'm wondering IF she were a he, if people would still express sympathy and excuses? A teen boy shot and killed by police following him shooting at them would NOT go go down the same way. Most of these comments would hail police, claiming HE deserved it.
They attended the Uvalde Texas School of Tactical Police Response.
I think it's more likely that the dad was shooting out of both sides of his truck. It's possible that the girl was indeed by the window so "witnesses" might have thought she was firing a weapon, when it was actually her dad.
You neglected to describe the hail of gunfire directed at the vehicle before it came to rest. The appearance of many clouds of dust from the impact of the bullets is shocking.
At the very least, this was a total breakdown in communications between the involved officers-but there seems to have been an attempt at covering up the facts
There always is. "We investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong", it's the statement every police department makes after they gun down an innocent citizen.
Very Disturbing, RIP Savanna 🇮🇪
Well, we, the people need to call San Bernardino County Sheriffs and respectfully air our grievances. This is the first time hearing this, how terrible. The police just keep getting worse and worse, shameful.

Another one protected and served! Of course the dad and the killer cops are the parties who get off unharmed.
Hopefully she is with her mother now. Can't even imagine how the little brother feels, he lost his whole family in one day.

is there anything we can do to get the coos to serve time? this is outrageous. the people who are supposed to help are doing nothing but harming the community. lifelong chicagoan and its just as bad here
They'll get paid leave and shuffled to another department at worst.
I don't understand how they can be protected by Qualified Immunity, when they are clearly less qualified than a janitor. Janitors at least greatly benefit their community.
@@Naptosisright. It’s like the Catholic priest pdfiles that get shuffled to other churches instead of held accountable for their actions
The courts have already written into law that collateral damage lies at the feet of the perpetrator.
There was one case where cops shot at and wounded bystanders who were standing at a food truck. Eventually, it was decided the truck was at fault.
"Anthony was able to convince her to be afraid of the police" I guess he was right about that one
This is absolutely heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time.
He knew what he was doing. His own suicide by cop got his daughter killed, not they he cared, despicable person.
He also made her look guilty by making her shoot out the passenger side window and making her wear tactical gear. He used her as a human shield in many respects.
He knew.
Rip Savanah & her mum 💔💔
He was no saint, but most of what you have noted here is heresay, not facts.
Agreed RIP Savannah & her mother, very tragic situation all around ☹️
Omg this makes me sick to my stomach. Im sorry Savanah! 💔💔💔💔😢
Thank you for tackling a difficult subject in a very compassionate but objective way.
The girl wasn't convinced to go with her father. She was probably operating out of fear. She accurately predicted he would kill her mother. Similarly, she was probably shooting at police under instructions by her father.
This could have been prevented if there had been a safe domestic violence shelter where the wife was safe. If he hadn't killed the wife, the car pursuit wouldn't have happened.
I've been in several DV shelters. Long story. They're not safe. Sometimes the female clients are worse than your abuser. Also, now they're letting trannies in. If you have kids, this is problematic.
PLEASE DO NOT BLAMED THE VICTIM HOW DO YOU KNOW SHE WAS SHOOTING AT POLICE?????????? WAS YOU THERE?
Oh so we're just making things up now? Cool cool cool cool cool
This was a tough one
Officers really need better training
Stories like these remind me of the absurd notion that everyone should carry a firearm on their person. How do the good guys identify the bad guys when everyone is emptying their magazines? Shots are coming from everywhere, and the person exiting the vehicle wearing body armour cannot be distinguishable from anyone else. This resembled a wild west movie scene.
But the guns are for self-protection, get it?
Lack of communication between police does not justify taking a life.
I really like Dr. Grande's videos because he doesn't do the dramatics and sensationalism that so many other outlets and UA-camrs do. I feel like the information is given in a thorough and ethical way and with so much ridiculousness out there, it's hard to find information I feel I can trust.
This is one of the best in terms of not knowing Dr.’s opinion… really didn’t see it coming. The outcome it was just a mess and the dad was IMHO hundred percent responsible. Cops have some liability but the situation was just tough to handle
How long does it take to be investigated and police to be prosecuted?? Why haven't they released who killed her yet?
A HUGE DEPLORABLE COVER UP. LIKE USUAL
Some cities have created statutes that not only give cops anonymity, but also a length of time before footage will be released to the public. It can range anywhere from 1 to 4 years, if released at all.
Always interesting
Thank you❤
There is zero Debate that the Police are 100% at fault. She was doing what the Police told her to do! End of debate.
On her knees, too. How much more vulnerable of a position could you be in, besides on your stomach on the ground. And after seeing your mother shot. Just pure horror.
Zero debate, I disagree.
While I pray for the child. The father is a demon to drag this poor child to her demise.
