IDK though. 4 or 5 beers I'd be cruising right along steady. He sounded like he was closer to 11 or 12. Especially a Mexican dude, those mofos can handle their booze.

One of the first guys I’ve seen who says more than two drinks
I've known since the seventies not to say the standard "couple" or two drinks. I always say three.....and ABSOLUTELY no more. At my body weight (235 lbs) four beers would put me at .08 maybe .09 for twenty minutes or so. Three beers would never have made my BAC illegal. I've been allowed to drive away every time that I've given that response. (at least 4 or 5 times)

@@trevorvick3281 No it's not all that. It's just that i'm 62 years old. I've lived all over the country. I have always not been a stay at home guy. So I've encountered several instances where law enforcement might have "questioned" my sobriety. However it is so atypical a response that I'm sure somewhere in some piece of police training manuals it is even in print that the response of "a couple" generates further "interest".
Once even it occurred that I encountered a cop in Colorado Springs who was angry at something else.....I don't know. So if the truth be told I had only 2 beers. So I figured that I'd see if it were true. So when I said "a couple" he replied "and how many is a couple?" My response was "oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know english wasn't you're first language." Don't get me wrong there guy. I'm not one of those guys that hates cops. I've always tried to see stuff like they might. It's just that this night this guy must have been having one of "those nights". It wasn't even that he said "and how many is a couple". I wanted to see if my response
of "a couple" would draw further interest like I'd been told that it might. It was just the guy's tone that kind of "abraded me".
There was some legend on an old cops episode that said “about 500 beers” once.
So he didn't just have "two beers"? Brutally honest guy. He had time to throw that open beer out before cops showed up. He messed up, but he owned it.

As a former officer, I applaud this deputy and his professional manner. I've observed too many different emotions on losing loved ones, especially children, while on patrol.

That's like the first time I've ever seen someone be honest about drunk driving. Told him 5 or 6 beers (instead of the standard answer of, a couple). Even more surprising was he immediately admitted to drinking that beer while he was driving.

Professional and spot-on work from this LEO from the initial advisory to first contact, to the investigation--beginning to end. Though unrelated to the video: this officer is beautiful. I have no idea what his ethnicity is, but he appears to have some classic ancestral features of people originally from the Americas. The nose with that straight bridge and arrow-shaped tip; the pronounced cheekbones which give an extra level of dimension to his face; that copper skin with an almost burgundy undertone; his gorgeous, wider almond-shaped eyes.
