@Gary Sanchez If it were as simple as voting for the correct person (whoever espouses the ideas you support), we wouldn't have the issues in this country. I think it's deeper than that.
But the sad thing is in America you have to have insurance before anybody will see you. If if taken to the emergency room you’ll only get treated for an emergency but then stuck with an expensive bill. That’s the American way.
This guy is a world class manipulator. Playing the "poor me, I need help" game with a cop who is willing to play along. Well, a few months in prison will give him the detox kick start he needs to start his new, sober life.
That first one was such a good ending, I did not expect that. Hopefully the guy gets the help he needs so he can raise his child in a happy and safe environment. Major props to the officer for helping so much and being so compassionate.
The first clip… I can’t put into words how moved I am as someone who struggled with drug addiction and finally got clean. *9 years sober BTW* that sheriff wasn’t just policing things, he was doing social work. And if we had more like him out there, I guarantee you our country would be a lot better off.
It’s really not even the cops who are the problem with that. It’s the entire justice system that makes it worse. They just throw anyone with a drug problem into jail forever regardless of if they genuinely want help or not. You wouldn’t believe how many cops are willing to help out drug users, and then get laughed at by lawyers and prosecutors

@Call me Carnes Last time I got pulled over I had a tiny amount of dabs and the officer told me if it was heroin I was getting a serious charge. 4 of the local officers I would see often would always rant about how bad marijuana is even if i wasn't even suspected of having it. When I was actually doing heroin, they instantly treated me like I didn't even deserve the respect of small talk on the way to jail. Most cops are definitely not like this.
