Democrats statewide are pretty good at communicating but once they get the presidency theyre not Joe Biden is just banking on campaigning with Obama and Bernie and somehow its gonna help lol
The discourse seems very caught-up on the language of outrage vs atrocity descriptors. If "genocide" needs to be used very specifically, then we need more terms, like "democide", etc. This means that the discourse can freely discuss that "outrage-space" between the acts of Hamas and the IDF.
I wouldn't put it past them to actually want trump in office for the content. They get more money crying about trump. Looks at their views when they talked about trump in his presidency.
@Hank_Khanab_Ame The likely tax cuts would also benefit them, so they can ride their fringe views, whether genuine or grifty, into either what's best for the country or for their finances. It makes sense from their point of view, but it's wildly dangerous given just how existential the Trump threat is to both democracy and to international security. 20:51 I tend to hold institutions much more responsible - having worked for a few both government and corporate and witnessing amazing stupidity, naivety and moral cowardice from leadership at various times. Israel as a government and a nation holds more culpability than Lonerbox describes. To disagree with Lonerbox here: To allow for conditions that might allow rogue actors within the Israeli army to commit war crimes is essentially condoning, enabling and accommodating those transgressions. It is defacto facilitating crimes against humanity, I hold Israel largely more responsible than Lonerbox does. If its something that might happen under your watch you should probably do more. If it has happened before and continues to happen under your watch - you are an accomplice. You are responsible for the actions of your subordinates. If the results of Israels decisions indirectly lead to the deaths of a significant number of Palestinians - it may be a genocide, just obfuscated and with more steps leading to the result. The persecution of the Jews by the German government in the 1940's would not have been described as a genocide at the time. As a genocide unfolds I'd hazard a guess and say it is never described as a genocide. Its after counting the bodies that we tend to apply the label. That's why we continue to allow them to happen and are inexplicably shocked in the aftermath. Anyway, not voting for the Dems is voting for Trump. Ana Kasparian etc are supporting Trump through their projected actions of not voting. They bare responsibility for the results - their principles or moral warmth they might feel in their acts of rebellion are nothing compared to the suffering they contribute to by not voting.

Populists are driven almost entirely by emotion. As long as Biden is on the correct side of whatever issue dominates their Twitter timeline the week of the election, they’ll vote for him.
Briahna apparently started quoting neonazi's regarding Israel. This is just wild.

Go ahead, nobody cares.
That how they get their power, when you give them attention and beg them to vote.
Oh yeah! Good luck with Trump, he really loves Palestine he'll thank you for your stupid inaction.
I’m starting to realize that these folks care more about how their vote makes them personally feel than how it actually affects the situation in Palestine or how it affects politics in America. The narcissism is unbearable. But whatever, I guess just sticking your fingers in your ears and crying Wikipedia anytime someone points out when you’re wrong about something.
There or no bigger words to use anymore. No matter how much bigger it gets, they still call it the same word, they'll say it was inevitable, and feel good about abstaining their vote....

If Trump gets elected these ignorants have no right to complain. I know they will, but they should be told to shut up each and every time they make a complaint about Trump.
The thing is, these people benefitted from Trump being in charge. They never had more viewers or donations. After Trump lost there was a big loss of viewers and money among the chattering class. They need conflict for views. Truth, political strategy, neither of these matter.
All that matters is clicks and donos.
They will blame the democrats for not earning their votes. So if they don't get what they want then everyone must suffer. And these cretins think they are the good guys?!
Why do you not want Biden to change?
They won't complain, they'll just blame Dems for not catering to their feelings
@@HarryDirtay good point, I actually didn't consider this.
why do democrats do such a bad job communicating their victories / good governance? you did such a good job showing how much biden has done to restrain israel here, I think I’m more informed on this than most people yet I didn’t know most of that happened

The far left and self-sabotage, name a more iconic duo 🤦
I doubt they won't vote to make money... but yeah, as Destiny pointed out time and time again: only when you are a wealthy white American you don't have to actually give a fuck who is the president.
They get better taxes with trump as well. These people are not spending their money helping poor people. They are using that money to help themselves. There is nothing wrong with that but maybe if one left winger helped someone with their college debt then others would follow by example. it is really cheap to buy medical debt. Weird that none of them have actually ever helped an American.
I think this is a big factor with Krystal Ball in particular. The Breaking Points show goes out of their way to criticize Biden while also trying to minimize criticisms towards Trump. It works because right wingers, for a variety of reasons (some nefarious) get more clicks with their videos. The integrity doesn't matter much when you are making $$$$.

I tend to hold institutions much more responsible - having worked for a few both government and corporate and witnessing amazing stupidity, naivety and moral cowardice from leadership at various times.
Why I checked out from TYT, Secular Talk, and The Majority Report 7-8 years ago. The majority report being the last to go in 2019, but I was already listening considerably less and was only checking in for the first hour of the show. I checked out of the humanist report and 1 other around then too. They have all only gotten worse over the years. I use to hate watch krystal and saggar on The Hill Rising. Well maybe not hate watch, but I wasnt a huge fan but checked in. I hate watched breaking points tho, and checked out after a few months of just seeing where this was headed, and arguing with what had to have been a legion of bots in the comments. Their whole entire schtick was democrats bad endlessly. From the hill to breaking points. Krystal even recently acknowledged this before October 7th happened (That all she does is democrats bad talking points endlessly, and she was changing that. I assume even her supporters eventually got tired of it).
These people are dangerous to political discourse, and are generally lazy, cowardly people who are nothing more than the equivalent of the worst of fox news, but for "progressives". They have to know this is not sustainable as a business model, and for your own personal health.
Any specific reason you checked out from Humanist Report? I've mainly only seen a handful of their videos covering LGBT+ issues and they seemed pretty alright. Please tell me they're not another braindead anti-electoralist

Like according to them the genocide has been ongoing for 75 years. So how could they have given such full throated support for Biden pre October 7th?
We’ve been supporting them this whole time.
And while Biden’s response after Oct 7th could be better it marks a significant shift from past responses and attitude. And has largely been in line with the will of the American people.
haha exactly!! :)
Kyle going full "What have the Romans ever done for us?" with his rap about Biden's achievements.
It's seems Biden will need to put more pressure to resolve issues and appeal to potential Democratic voters - doesn't look good otherwise another Trump term
Quite a lot of that was just a long way of saying, "I'm not ready to admit that in my mind, Project 2025 would stop money going to israel"

Kyle is never beating the "awful at anything that touches foreign policy" allegations. Saying you won't vote for Biden (Lonerbox says he technically didn't, but "It's a Moral Red Line" and "I'm with you [two never-Bidens]" is basically as good as explicitly saying it), while listing off all the good things Biden did AND saying all the bad things Trump will do AND saying you'll feel awful if Trump wins while you'll feel "eh" otherwise, and the reason for not voting being a foreign policy thing that Trump would actually be much worse on? That's a banger.
lonerbox is one of the only actually informative youtubers when it comes to this issue
This sort of deontological approach to voting drives me mad
If one of two options WILL win and you think that voting for either would bloody your hands, then there is blood on your hands either way. You can't avoid that spot. Not voting is taking half your vote and giving it to the worse option. Inaction only makes your hands bloodier.
It's crazy how there is a serious chance that these people will welcome in trump to have another go at dictatorship because they can't stomach holding their nose and pushing for the CLEARLY better option. Shameful
I pray I'm not "morally superior" enough to let someone just steamroll me and everyone else into a nightmare because I couldn't get my hands dirty with actual work to protect myself and other people.
It's bad to litter.
Super serial
I understand the desire to want to not vote. But the problem is the choice will be made with or without you.
That's the problem with the "genocide" rhetoric (well, aside from it being inflammatory and untrue), it sets the bar at "it can't get any worse." I mean, what's worse than genocide? Extra large genocide? Grande genocide???
The genocide of Native Americans was slow. The genocide of Slavs, Jews, etc by Germany in WWII was worse and faster. Israel's leadership still wants the Palestinians gone while not getting enough hate to be stopped immediately. If they didn't want them dead, why cut off food, water, and fuel? You can't terrorize Israelis with a loaf of bread or a cup of water.
It hasn't even Joegun.
