If there was ever something that I wish could be brought from video games into reality, "reading a sign means you won't suffer any pain from a fall" is pretty high up there.
You're also able to jump through the painting of Humba Wumba in Grunty Industries to the locked room beside it, which has a sign that lists the locations of all the dirty workers as a reward for the player's Mario 64 sense.
Another thing to note is that you can just heal 1 honeycomb if you get stomped by the Stompanodon since it will simply always get your life to 1 honeycomb, no matter how many you have.
3:07 You can achieve the same effect without a sign if you ground pound and steer yourself off a cliff/tall place on the rebound. This is a trick that works in both the original BK and the sequel BT by the way.
I did the fall damage cancel by reading/talking to something by accident a few hours ago! It was so hype to see the trick actually apprearing in your video! Thanks for covering this awesome game man! ❤
Probably not that big of a deal but during the Stomponadon part as Banjo, you actually don't need to fully heal to continue along. To save time you can recover just 1 HP and continue along since the stomp is always meant to drop you to 1 HP no matter what.
I am loving these videos. Banjo Tooie is tied as my favorite video game of all time. I thought I knew everything. Now I have things to try next playthrough ! Make more videos please?
In grunty industries with banjo alone you can bypass switching off the garbage compactor if you used banjos double jump. (backpack smash in between) It takes precise timing, but it works.
1:12 it's worth noting that Humba may not have taken Mumbo Tokens. early press builds of Tooie used placeholder icons in several places and it's possible the Mumbo Token icon was being used to represent Glowbos at that time.
When you bounce back up after a Beak Buster hits the ground, you're immune to fall damage until you land. So if you do a Beak Buster right at the edge of a platform, then steer yourself off the edge during the bounce, you can fall any distance without taking damage.
On 7:41 on the top left, do you know why that spring pad is there? That small area where the jiggy is is only accessible with the washing machine. Even then, if Kazooie gets on that area, she can just down special to get way higher, so why is it there?
You don't need to give Mumbo the Glowbo first to talk to him from below. If you stand on the back part of the raised rim around the green beam you can talk to him. I don't really understand why its more picky like that before handing it over but it is
In your next video, you should mention that you can get into the Oogle Boogle cave from Witchyworld without using the Claw Clamber boots. This can be done by climbing to the top of the nearest light pole to the exit to the cave and jumping right over to it.
It's not as easy as it looks though, if the angle is just slightly off the egg will explode without hatching. I almost blew through an entire magazine of clockwork Kazooie eggs in Smuggler's cave before it worked for me.
Dayum bro. Banjo and Kazooie are the faces of my childhood. I played this game many times on three different mediums and still.. i didnt know 90% of this. Very cool video!
It would be so cool if Dream: Land of Giants got revived somehow. The main villain of Dream, Blackeye still exists canonically, so Edson should still exist somewhere too.
I think Kazooie alone can avoid fall damage by flapping, holding A. Together, they can only flap for a short ways before they freefall, but without the weight of the bear I think Kazooie can just flap for as long as she needs.
Lmao, Idk why, but I started laughing when the theme of the fact switched to the stomping plains again 😂 Idk, it was so funny learning there was a third way to beat that stage
Snooze Pack is only used when Banjo & Kazooie's side special golden feathers are depleted. It cannot be used in the air, or Banjo will attempt to use Wonderwing instead. Depending on the default stamina in Stamina battles, it will limit the maximium number of Golden feathers. Such as if Banjo's default stamina is 80, They'll have a maximium of 3 gold feathers, Snooze Pack will not restore any golden feathers or percentage during sudden death.
Another cool thing you can do: As Banjo alone without Kazooie, if you jump in the air and use the Pack Attack by pressing B, you can jump again afterwards in midair, performing a double jump with Banjo.
These are very neat tips! I will have to try these next time I fire up Banjo-Tooie. There are so many ways to cheese some of the challenges. Clockwork Kazooie Eggs are totally broken!! I wish there was a way to cheese through the last Canary Mary race!
What's the song that starts at 4:00 with the Project Dream section and ends at 4:40?? It's familiar, but feels deep into the recesses of my mind and can't quite grasp what it is... I haven't heard it in an extremely long time, for some reason I'm feeling DK Country but don't feel 100% sold on it?? Help plz

Really?!
Just checked it myself. It's confirmed. Awesome detail, I had never known.
@@jakewellbrock9338 thanks for confirming!
Is there a video of this?@@jakewellbrock9338

i never liked this section.. being forced to take damage always irks me in video games..lol

Ok, I thought I knew all the secrets and easter eggs in this game but now I’ve been humbled!
Humbled Wumbled.
@ I see what you did there… 😏
Did you know if your Banjo-Tooie cartidge doesn't get read on the N64, and you lick it, you just licked a Banjo-Tooie cartidge?
I know right? Looks like we were fake fans all along 😂
not easter eggs, KAZOOIE EGGS!

Probably because he moves from his chair to standing after you give him the thing.

I keep trying this and can’t pull it off.
@@nintendo-relatedchannel5810 I've done it plenty of times. I don't know how you would have any trouble.
OMG, I never thought to use the clockwork eggs in that annoying conveyor belt room! That's going to save me so much frustration in future replays!
It's not as easy as it looks though, if the angle is just slightly off the egg will explode without hatching. I almost blew through an entire magazine of clockwork Kazooie eggs in Smuggler's cave before it worked for me.

Nothing gets past the Looygi Bros.🐻🐦 We appreciate your work and look forward to your super sleuthing vidya! Banzai🌹
Hi! Thanks, you're too kind ^^
Dude... you started showing another feature that I didn't know about the game, that is very nice to know :DDDD
It would be so cool if Dream: Land of Giants got revived somehow. The main villain of Dream, Blackeye still exists canonically, so Edson should still exist somewhere too.
At least this video wasn't ruined by a Raid Shadow Legends ad.
It took me years and dozens of 100% runs to realize that I was using the clockwork eggs to get some collectibles in unintended ways.
I don’t know why, but that soft landing from a high jump made me laugh harder than I should have
For stomping plains, you don't need to recover Banjo's health to full, it only triggers a defeat when you are hit with one hit point.
I think Kazooie alone can avoid fall damage by flapping, holding A. Together, they can only flap for a short ways before they freefall, but without the weight of the bear I think Kazooie can just flap for as long as she needs.

@2:30
That should’ve been an extra move for Banjo-Kazooie in Smash, to replenish your Wonderwing stock, and when full, you heal slowly
Agreed. If Ness and Lucas can pull off PSI Magnet to recover, why not enable the bear and Bird's defensive moves.
@ like when you refill your ink with the Inkling, it would be the same input

@ yeah that’s the idea
Or maybe Banjo only needs 5 wonderwings per stock lol

Anyone know what the music at 4:00 is? It sounds incredible.
it's Forest Interlude from Donkey Kong Country 2 :)

Came in here thinking I'd know all of these, but learned a couple things, I'm impressed!
Humba Wumba in the end 😍😍💗💗
Great video Yo! Part one and two !!

Lova that this game still suprises me after so many years! Thank you for this content
Never knew about the Mumbo's skull bottom floor "bug". That's a big timesaver.
You can even give a glowbo to Mumbo from the beam, you don't even need to have given it to him beforehand. I never knew it was a bug
Okay I was not expecting a second video... Thanks !!!
Good video! Looking forward for more cool things on this game!
So many stuff i dunno about one of my fav game still.
congrats on the sponsor!
This hasn't come up yet in tips but if your playing only as banjo you can double jump with his attack
THE MUMBO THING WAS A GLITCH?! BUT IT WAS SO USEFUL!
ya, and it would make sense actually, like visually as well!
Fantastic, thanks. Seriously an underrated game.
Actually, you can talk to Mumbo from the first floor before you even give him the Glowbo, not just after
Thanks for your amazing videos
In Banjo Tooie (2001)
While tooie is my favorite game of all time, i still wish for dream to be finished
Looygi Bros. The Stomping Plains Special Edition
I've known about the first one for years.
Great video looygi Bros. 😁❤️👍
1. I THOUGHT IT WAS A FEATURE!!!!

I will stop believing in Banjo-Threeie when it will come out !
1:44 shut upppp thats awesome
This video is great if anyone needs help with banjo tooie randomizer
There's not even a banjo tooie randomizer.
@P0chuL1ver there is. It's under development with archipelago.
I really overused clockwork eggs in my plays xD
Isnt the dino in the stomping plains named stomponodon? or am i remembering that wrong?
Never knew about the mumbo one..would've been a time saver..is it on the switch port?...also wow why did I never think of that spring trick
He just played on the NSO...
nice video, thank you
Always found it amusing how Rare got Humba Wumba to look so natural on N64 wereas Lara Croft on PS1 had those triangle looking breasts lolol
What’s the song at 4:00
Forest Interlude from Donkey Kong Country 2
Forest Interlude from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Fores Interlude from Donkey Kong Country 2
Don't try this at home? How else am I supposed to get that cheato page?
It feels like i am cheating so I don't wanna do any of that.
I like cool things
still forgot donkey kong plush
😁
😊
Why the stomp section is so bad programmed why ???
Everything has flaws, you cannot avoid it.
I adore this game. There's just so many cool details and things to do in these worlds.
