Zareen Abbassi I really don’t know of any drug store products that would address sagging truthfully I have never found any.
Paulette Richards Copper peptides address firmness ie sagging but be mindful not to use too much . Less is more with peptides - It’s an amazing ingredient! If you can afford to pick up Niod Cooper amino isolate 1% that’s one I can attest to -only use a pea-size and dot it on your face and let the warmth of your hands spread it out as it turns to a silky oil from a gel texture - or the Ordinary Buffet with copper peptides is also good . I got started on retin-a when I was a teenager for acne- who knew it was blessing back then. I kept asking the doctor for Accutane but he felt my acne wasn't severe enough and said it would age me faster since it shrinks the oil glands and just stuck with Retin-a- I'm glad he had my best interest at heart at the time and thought about my skin in the future :)

What a great doctor he is. I wish all doctors were like that. My doc is rushing me into taking accutane but my heart said no. I even bought the pills but did not take them. She even said retin-a won’t be effective in my breakout/cystic acne but i still did not listen and guess what retin-a worked perfectly. I am blessed to go through this breakout now cause it introduced me to retin-a
@@MsCasati I think if someone has severe cystic acne accutane can have it's place.. back then I was a teenager with a lot of pimples but not that severe, but I got teased and wanted it gone. I wasn't thinking in 20 years about wrinkles, but now of course I can appreciate it more (plus it got me on sunscreen back then which helped now)

I am 29 and starting on tretinoin. It’s been 6 months, and call me crazy but I swear I see my skin kinda “healthier” like I will wash my face in the morning and it looks hydrated and more even toned. I love it.

Emerson San Pedro It depends on which Tretinoin you’re using. Some are less irritating than others due to the carrier vehicle (inactive ingredients) in the formulation. Some are more soothing and gentle. Refissa doesn’t cause most people irritation than generic Tretinoins cause.

You look amazing! Hope to look like you when I’m 50 as I am starting today! I’m 24, but had a lot of sun exposure as a teen and kid. I do regret it, but I couldn’t have cared less about wrinkles when I was 16 :) I do think the damage is starting to show on my skin now plus I have some mild scaring from years and years of acne. I hope tretinoin can help! Since turning 22/23 sunscreen and staying out of the sun have been my favorite beauty steps!!

Hi Katerina, I do have a morning routine. I plan to have that video out within the next month. In a nutshell though, I use a gentle cleanser, then a toner, then I'll often mask (although not every day), then I apply a C-serum, then moisturizer and as my last step I put on sunscreen.

Iam 20 year old I have milia all over my face I have been using treatnoin for 8 month but I am not consistent with my skin care routine the only difference I see in my face is black heads and whiteheads completely vanished but I sweat alot I have oily skin can I use this cream throughout my life on my own risk because I don't consult to any doctor

Hi, do you apply it all over your face or avoid the eye and around the mouth area? Because my dermatologist told me to avoid those areas.
@@tejaswirao5869 I apply it under my eyes because they are usually first to wrinkle. My derm said it's fine to use under your eyes.
@@tejaswirao5869 I apply all over, concentrating more problematic areas (forehead, chin, cheeks). I avoid the eye areas and i guess close to my mouth, but when i apply my eye cream or another layer of moisturizer, i'm sure some of the leftover bits will get distributed :-) i would err on the side of caution and apply to areas that you can tolerate. and you can always build up tolerance ^_^
I'm also planning on getting a tretinoin, however just a curious question though. Do you guys always have to avoid the sun? I mean even with those sunscreens and stuff, there are instances that we have to get some sunlight. But then you are on tretinoin. I hope someone can enlighten me on this one. Thank you
I am using Apostrophe tretinoin too. Glad I found someone else who uses it. They started me on 0.05% strength. (I had been using Retinols). I tolerated it well with some drying though. After I finished it in 4 months, I asked for 0.1% . It’s not that drying for me. Wish I started tretinoin earlier in life. Latisse is great too. Thank you for your video. Hi Nicole, thanks for your video. I wanted to ask you your honest opinion, if one uses Tretinoin for anti-aging (I'm 47yrs), is it necessary to use additional products besides the sunscreen and moisturizer? I really struggle with having to use too many products. I love this combo that you mentioned of Tretinoin and Niacinimide. I am ok with using 3 products but anything more than that, and it's a bit much for me. I'll do it if I have to but prefer to narrow it down as much as possible. Also, to let the products soak in between uses. Thanks :)
Hi Nino, I think the most important thing is to have a regimen and stick to it. If for you that means using fewer products, that would be the way to go. I think you could totally get by using the tretinoin in the evening, a good vitamin C serum in the morning, moisturizer and sunscreen. For me, I like the extra boost that I get using additional products (plus I have very dry skin so I’m always using oil’s too) but if I were going on a trip and had very limited space for skin care products, that is exactly what I would bring. 😊

@@rachelkh20 hi! I'm 22 and I started tretinoin on friday! I use 0.025% strength and I didn't feel any kind of burn or itch. BUT, if you have sensitive skin, you might want to try to apply a fragrance free moisturizer after the tretinoin. And see if you can tolerate tretinoin, since there are people who can't handle vitamin A derivatives! Hope this helps

Hi Sara, I use my tretinoin at night and my C-serum in the morning. You can layer most serums underneath your tretinoin (but not any acids) just make sure that it does not make your skin too sensitive. I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video! Have a great weekend!

I rarely had any more big big acne. I’m so inspired to keep using retin-a when watching any ladies out there showing how beautiful and flawless there skin is by just this simple and affordable cream. Do you have foundation tips/recommendations while using tretinoin? The dry flakes are challenging to overcome!
I don't have the flaking issue during tretinoin but very dry skin and my favorite foundations are the Koh Gen Do Moisture foundation (the new formulation) and their Aqua foundation is wonderful too. The other one that I love is the La Mer foundation. Pressing a drop or two of skin oil onto my face is a great way to prime too. I hope that helps. xoxo

I started apostrophe almost a month ago after being on Curology for a year and I have noticed more results in this one month! I was always so sensitive to pure adapalene gel and it made me breakout worse but apostrophe paired tretinoin with clindamycin and my skin has never been so clear and smooth! I am blown away. U look stunning 😍I m 32 with oily acne prone sensitive skin, started with tretinoin, for 3 months it was kool, but in my fourth I started seeing pimples on my cheeks, probably because I don't use acids. Could you please recommend overnight acid mask and how to go about.thanks🙏
Hi Shipra, Thank you so much for the kind words. I do not have oily skin but from what I understand (probably best if you double check with the dermatologist that you get your tretinoin from) a Salicylic or Glycolic acid should help. I've used the overnight one by Goop, Dr. Dennis Gross, Drunk Elephant's T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial, and Elemis recently and liked them a lot. For a natural option, Dermae's Overnight Peel is really good too. Wishing you all the best. ❤️🙂❤️

Hello, thank you for your video. I have been using differin for my acne and want to switch to Retin A. Is it okay to start from. 05? In my country, .05 is easy to find over the counter but. 025 is not very common.

Hi, when I put my moisturizer over the tretinoin I do bring it down onto my neck pretty much every time. About twice a week I put the actual tretinoin on my neck. Have a super day!

Hello I’m 27 and I just came across your videos and finding them very helpful. I just started tretinoin cream for acne and acne marks and so far I’ve liked the results. I have noticed though that my previous sunspots have gotten a bit darker and wondering if it will subside. I do use my elta md clear sunscreen and It cosmetics matte cc cream and I haven’t even gone out due to quarantine so I’m just wondering if this is something some people might go through? My dermatologist is out of office til further notice so yeah lol
Hi Birdie, I'm so glad that you are enjoying my videos. In my experience, tretinoin fades dark spots so you should certainly check in with your dermatologist when you can. Maybe they are doing Skype visits? It sounds like you are doing the right thing using sunscreen and the IT Cosmetics CC cream is also SPF 40. Wishin you all the best! -Nicole

Have you found that applying makeup is difficult, or that it does not last very long? I just started and I’ve heard that some people have had difficulty getting their makeup to stay on? Not because of the peeling, but because their skin is so smooth? Lol sounds crazy but I’m just curious
