If they really want people to play MyFaction, those locked characters need to be able to be used in exhibition matches once you obtain their card
@@JacksonLane02 I could talk conspiracy theories all day. I believe they have a small team working on MyFaction but I don’t buy that that same small team are scanning/updating these attires. If anything we get away from one of the main things this series needs and that is live updates for these attires. NBA 2K gets live updates for random shoes someone wore during a game the night before.
Only way I'd ever invest time or money in MyFaction would be if unlocked characters could be made available in all modes. Until then, MyFaction will remain unused, for me.
@JacksonLane02 the MyFaction team is smaller than the main team but has a bigger output than the actual main team.
This is a companies excuse to fool players. They can pump all these updates and new attires into one mode by a smaller team but the bigger team working on the main game doing gameplay tweaks can't possibly come up with these updates.
The whole reason they keep these locked to MyFaction is to keep the mode relative and to lure those who think the mode holds value back to it.
There is no smaller team, it's the same developer and even if and it's a big if there was a smaller team. One mode can have all these different attires and wrestlers but for the main game they can't simply be imported over? Nah it's all lies as MyFaction is their FUT or MUT. All it's designed for is to keep luring people back to buy the game 10x over.

I would not pay for additional characters if I'm buying the versions that already have the season pass included. Season passes should encompass any and every content released within a yearly game's timespan. I'd understand if the game only came out every couple of years and they wanted to do additional seasons, but in it's current state asking for additional money for content would just be greed.

For what they charge, they can use the “myfaction locked” characters as a part of the “additional content” for the icon edition vs the deluxe or standard edition. 2K can easily hire the “mods” to push out character model updates. If we can make them on our own, 2k should be able to push an update to make it universal. That’s another 10-15 jobs that you can get ppl on the team for. 2k makes so much money, there’s no reason for the game to still be missing things.

If a new model can be added to MyFaction, it can be unlocked for use in Exhibition and Universe. 2Ks excuse of not enough memory in the base game to include MyFaction superstars in other modes is complete rubbish.
I agree. If you pay for something in a game like a WWE game, you should be able to use it in every mode. It would greatly expand the roster of Superstars one can play with whithot having to use a CAW slot so that we can create maybe 100 of our friends without having to use a slot for an alt attire available in another mode.
Totally agree with assemble ! We should have the option to use those models in whichever mode we want to, hopefully as free update or paid dlc depending on the price.
I always felt they should’ve made the MyFaction unlocks should be available in exhibition as incentive for MyFaction.
Honestly, if the alternate attires/new models could be used in Exhibition I would touch the mode. But since there is no extra benefit to touching it see no reasons to do so.
Id play myfaction all day if we could use them in Universe
You should be able to play my faction to get new models and as a result they become available in all the other modes. That would at least make it fun to go through my faction
If they were unlockable to use in other modes literally everyone would play that mode…
I think they should just make MyFaction it's own game. Especially if it's a separate team. It's not like they'd lose money anyways. They already have the whales hooked to the existing mode as is. So they'd have the yearly releases while also having the ability to make a live service game with a already existing community.

This was bound to happen at some point. And if people buy the cards it will be worse and worse over the years. I have seen this in so many other games.
As an avid nba 2k player, this is what they did with myteam which eventually bled into every portion of the game. How do we get them to pay more. I really hope the fans resist the myfaction mode
PAY TO PLAY
MyTeam used to be my favorite mode in the NBA 2K series but I’ve completely stopped playing the series because to fully enjoy my favorite mode I’d have to spend a ridiculous amount of cash on top of the ridiculous amount I already paid for the icon edition. It’s straight up unhealthy, but enough people buy a little bit that 2K makes billions off it so they’ll never stop.
I’m sure I’ll have to stop playing the WWE 2K series as well at some point.
Unfortunately it works too, there's a dude whose vids keep popping up on my suggestion list on YT and he brags about having ALL the cards unlocked for every new pack they've brought out..now, first of all..that's all fine and good for him if he wants to brag about that like it's some kind of flex. BUT, the sad part is, how much money did that cost him? Like literally how many dollars did it take to buy those packs over and over again to get EVERY possible card? Taking into account the amount of duplicates that you get and what not, folks like him are gonna give 2K even more incentive to do what they've been doing cause suckers like that will buy it.

I definitely believe that they should offer those as purchasable packs (non-DLC) for us to be able to get more characters. Especially for characters that have been in but aren't anymore for whatever reason. Even newer arenas (as they're released as real shows).
I’d even take giving us extra trons, music, attire, paint, etc and at least one alt attire slot per in game model that are separate from the 100 caw slot so that we can create the alternate look we want for each model. They should allow us to edit in game models hair as well in those slots.
I agree, maybe people would play my faction more, unlock new superstars and arenas, it would be alot more exciting
I hate the fact that they say it is a card collecting game it’s not. The game is pretty bland without the FW and PG challenges. That is what my faction is about pre-built challenges that allows the user to play with characters they normally would not even use, maintaining your contracts, and a bonus is the collectors level. But collecting the cards is not what it’s about, it’s about beating the pre-made challenges in FW and PG.
I wouldn't be shocked if they add The Fiend and Uncle Howdy in MyFaction I hope not, it should be a free superstar update just like Candice Lerae and Mia Yim

Me personally I wouldn't pay no matter how much they were mainly because I would view them as outfits and I don't buy outfits besides they should update asuka's model or make her new attire a alternate attire same thing with Finn Balor just set demon Finn as a alternate attire

What if when you unlock someone in My Faction you unlock them in the regular game, That way players might actully play the mode a little more.
I feel like a lot more people will play my faction if it was like do challenges to unlock a character and we get that character in the normal stuff
I really hate the fact that they're making certin superstars myfaction only, If it didn't go over well with fans last year 2k what the hell makes you think that it's going to go over this year? WE SHOULD NOT BE RELYING ON PEOPLE LIKE WHATSTHESTATUS TO FIX YOUR GAME!
Also, if this is the case going foward, Then I will bet money that Fiend Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy will be myfaction exclusives.
MyFaction would be playable if by attaining the card, it unlocks the superstar for use in other modes. For example, once you acquire the updated Asuka in MyFaction, you will then be able to use her in ex, GM, MyUnverse.
At least they should have included Asuka's outfit in the creation suite so we can make a secondary attire for her but not even that the could do

I totally agree, I feel 2k should do better and focus more on other modes than the mode that gives them the most backlash. I think they should honestly get rid of Myfaction or if they are gonna keep it to make it optional for people to buy these exclusive characters for other game modes. Also we have so many more areas in the game that needs to be fixed like universe mode. I dont even play myfaction nor Mygm because I can do the same stuff from those two modes in Universe mode. But honestly I hope they are hearing the community when it comes to this stuff because that's gonna make people not want 2k24 but they'll probably show some new mode that everyone will love to have so honestly we just have to play by 2k rules. But I just hope they can deal with the backlash from fans and hope they're prepared for the wyatt backlash because the fiend was a money grab for 2k20 and I believe they'll get more eyes if they make him avalible for the regular game just like they did in 2k20. But honestly I think we'll have to wait till next year to see any type of difference because I dont think they'll fix it this year, which sucks :(
They did this exact thing with last years game as well. Then in late Summer or Fall they will officially add them to the regular roster. Too bad the teams can’t communicate with each other. They are making excuses to try to pinch a few extra dollars out of us
Business wise, I can understand making new characters unlockable only in MyFaction. I can't understand why after unlocking them, they'd only make them playable in MyFaction mode.
I would be WAY more willing to purchase MyFaction packs if I knew the characters I could unlock could also be used in other modes. I have no idea why this seems so mystifying to the 2K team. It sucks to have to use one of my community creations slots to get these workaround characters that are IN THE GAME just to be able to use them in Exhibition/Universe modes.
I think the biggest problem with My Faction is that the fun is in grinding to get these rewards. Once you’ve played a lot to unlock The Fiend or Stardust you’d look at the fit satisfaction and realise everything else is the same as before
I also seen a recent vlog about them adding extra DLCs in Updates how they did recently, that’s also an upside , hopefully they stick to it
Tell us about that 1.11 patch hot fix! Drop a video people need to know. Apparently they quickly fixed the broken finisher and signature prompts that they broke in patch 1.10 a few days ago.
These 2 separate development teams need to have some kind of liaison to get these models into the main game. I don't care what they say it shouldn't be this difficult.

The Iconic Version was what? Like 150 Dollars? ....And THEN have the company to say "Oh, we have these exclusive characters for the game which can be yours ...for an additional price."
My gag with it is, they made sure to update sami zayns attire and tron but couldn’t put the same energy into asuka who technically debuted her new look before sami turned face and got new gear and trons
There’s only one point that needs to be made…. We as the WWE gaming community never asked for a mode like this.
My faction might be an interesting idea, but keeping certain characters only in My Faction to me is a bad idea. If they are in my faction, then they should be playable characters that can be used in other game modes ( universe mode for example )

I agree we should be able to use them everywhere but I don’t wanna purchase more than I already have. If these extra characters come with the deluxe version of the game, I wouldn’t worry if they were up for sale then. But there’s gotta be a middle ground somewhere
Let me say something if when they bring out a update in pack and add both to my faction and exhibition they can add it to both. I don't believe what they are saying.
Wanna know something insane in terms of sports games? EA Sports’ UFC 4 STILL periodically updates and adds new fighters (and updates records). For free.
That game came out in 2020.

What I don't like about stuff like that is when the shelf life of the game is over, you are not able to access those modes in the game when the shelf life of the game is over.

Its so stupid. If they made the skins unlockable in all modes, I would actually play MyFaction for that purpose.
My faction starts fun and then becomes triple threat after triple threat. These characters need to be playable outside where they can be fully utilized.
2K prices for packs are awful. The Icon pack price was ridiculous! Can't imagine what they'd charge to "update" wrestlers.
Im a big fan of My Faction. But i wish that packing a card in MyF would unlock it un exhibition. Would be a win-win.

why should we have to pay for content that should be available to us from the start,... We pay way too much for games as it is.... Hell back in day i would be buying games for £30 now its over £100.... ridiculous
The only reason why I think some of these models don’t get added to other mode is because in a lot of ways, they’re incomplete, things such as commentary is basically missing

I haven’t played my faction ONCE. I think we should be able to play these characters with any mode even if we have to buy them
I’ll honestly, happily pay whatever money for MyFaction stuff is locked, to have it unlocked in ALL modes. Depending how great these extra attires/characters are (for example, The Fiend), call me crazy but they could get up to $60 from me to make it happen. I’ll go KickStarter crazy to support this. Yes, I’m literally repeating my response to your post on Twitter, because I want the 2K devs to see this and see that they’ll still get their money if they make these things available across the board. I don’t think they’ll lose money if they do this.
When I first got 2k23 I literally just played MyFaction for the Achievements. Honestly having all these characters locked behind the mode makes me want to play the mode even less because there’s no incentive to work to get those cards if all we can do is play with them in the specific mode. I feel players would play the mode more knowing new models/updated models would be available every so often and that if you get the cards for them you’d be able to use them in normal play to make it a win win scenario
Not the best poll choices to be honest considering the only "no" option is to also keep it in MyF. They shouldn't be exclusive to MYF but also shouldn't be paid additions.
The fact that they are doing this is a step in the right direction for future entries. Bc i never played a team based card mode in any 2k game but these exclusive characters convinced me to finally make the attempt & its been real enjoyable. Just awaiting the next tiers of cards to be unlocked to see who they'll surprise us with next.
I pay for the Season Pass, and I really don't want to pay for more. Those alts should just unlock for other modes.

You're absolutely right! I bought the icon edition just to get the exclusive characters and other attires that they put in the MyFanction. It really annoying... and MyFanction mode a needs change cus playing only offline just to collect all the card. It's not attractive enough.
The game keeps crashing when i try to do a rivalry action in universe it also crashes randomly a lot hope they fix it
They messed the signatures and finishers up after the update. When you pick them up, it’s a delay on them
Found a funny new glitch last night. In a 4 way extreme rules match Randy Orton lit a table on fire and than it was broken, after that every table that was pulled out was already on fire. Plus once you break the table the floor is just on fire until the next flaming table was pulled out.
The only time I open MF is when I press the wrong button on the opening screen
I feel like they need to have it set up where. If you earned/ paid for the cards in my faction, you get it for free in normal modes.
My faction will slowly become a gambling casino similar to madden my team. All development will go to that mode and universe myrise and mygm modes will mostly get ignored. They will continue to lock characters from previous games behind my faction.
I worry that by asking for this we are soon to get 60 wrestlers and the rest behind the my faction pay window. So to get the other 140 characters we are ripping packs and having 1 in 1000 to get the ones we really want.
Its a definite yes for me. I am not trying to diss anyone that plays myFaction, but as you stated, we should at least have an option to play as wrestlers that have been in PAST games. Let alone updated models

In Universe mode, it will no longer let me in to edit superstars. Xavier Woods just keeps telling me how to do it over and over and over again. Is anyone else having this issue??

Anyone that believes 2k devs can't have characters move between modes in a product that they themselves have created is being naïve. It's just a business decision to make more money. It's up to you if you want to give it to them
Maaaan if you pre order and have the season pass, you shouldn't need to pay for anything extra. They shouldn't have characters mode based, because now it's forcing people to play a game mode we aren't even interested in. I play 2K, NBA and WWE, and I've never like MyFaction/MyTeam. Then you cant even take them out the mode lmao it's hell!
You guys can make these characters as unlockables like the latest patch and dlc. They just tryna whoop our feet

Having different characters in my faction isn’t an issue, but having updated attires locked is just stupid.
I play my faction everyday, just wish they had it how they have it online then i BET YOU plenty people would play it . The Live Events and 1v1 and 2v2 online matches are good also
I'll add this: if you are someone who buys the deluxe or super deluxe editions (ex. This year's Icon Edition), they should ABSOLUTELY have the option to unlock any character in the game itself (MyFaction, MyRise exclusives). The deluxe editions start at $100 - that's a lot to spend to not have gotten your full moneys' worth.
What should be 5 free extra’s in the game turns into 5 CAW slots.
I feel if you pai 60-150 for this game that the myfaction attires should be available.
Its only a "work around" if you're able to see WhatsTheStatus's content. I recently found out that I'm not the only person who couldn't/can't see his content and as usual is unable to see and get all the cool content that is hidden because of 2K's scam system.
they should just drop the number and the yearly releases. if it became live service and the game was being supported for a few years i would not be opposed to buying attire packs for superstars or something like 'The DX bundle' or 'Entrance Theme Bundle'
I mean I think the amount of ppl who would pay the 1-2$ for the characters will trump the amount of ppl who actually pay for the MF packs etc.

I get what your saying and i agree but at the end of the day they are trying to make this mode profitable like it is in nba 2k and like it is in Madden, especially in Madden where that card mode in those games generate millions of dollars alone. So they are gonna do everything they can to lock people into this mode with versions and attires of wrestlers that people always wanted into it. At least we get the work arounds from the community
Then they should 1st make the gameplay itself a reflection of reality like in nba 2k and madden…not arcady tie ups with street fighter mechanics

Forget buying the characters if they can put them in myfaction then they can make it so they can be unlocked in the main game once you obtain the card that's the only way I'll play myfaction otherwise there's no point.

The fix for this would be the only way to use these characters in other modes is to unlock them in my faction. This way it gives the game a unique spin and a reason to play. I’m a perfect world these would just be given to us but I understand what they are trying to do with my faction.
I like myfaction sometimes but the fact that 2k doesn't seem to care about any community feedback regarding the mode makes it hard to care about. A combination of the mfp earn rate being too small and the packs being too expensive and not duplicate protected means it's hardly worth it to go after new cards. Also the insistence on updating the mode with new cards instead of things to do with the new cards(like new proving grounds chapter, switch up faction wars to be 3v3 or no dq sometimes, online event with rewards) means the mode has a shelf life and for me in 2k22 the shelf life of my faction was a lot shorter than the game as a whole
i think if you unlock the card it should unlock the attire on the regular game. they could make money by ppl buying the packs to get the content.
Bad take those models should be free. Keep my faction the way it is. However, when you unlock its available in all modes, not just my faction.
2k bought out player battlegrounds because it showed packs and pack openings were still fun while getting them as rewards for play only and not pay… was really the first game to build around the purpose of free pack openings and playing for them like what WWE does with unlockables and WWE points the in game currency you get for matches
Locking MyFaction attires to the mode is as obnoxious as charging money for a Cactus Jack dlc last year. Egregious.
I'd say, keep 'em in the Myfaction mode, but once you unlock something in Myfaction, you should also have them unlocked for the rest of the game. Them not doing that was a deal-breaker for me, so I've never even played Myfaction as a result. I think taking a DLC route for costume changes, etc., is a slippery slope that we'd be better off not testing. I don't like the idea of paying extra money for additional wrestlers knowing that the there will simply be a new game in less than a year that likely won't have those wrestlers I'd paid for. If they stopped the annual game system and just focused on a good, functional medium, and they continued to update it until the time came to make a new system. Fix the bugs, make it last, and then I'd be more open to additional DLC with additional wrestlers and moves (as long as they were priced reasonably). I'd think this approach would actually be more profitable for them as they wouldn't have to retouch up the whole game every year, we wouldn't get a mode we really liked only to lose it next year, and they'd have enough time to truly debug the game instead of always being pressured to make the new game (that often times has the same bugs, etc)... I lost interest in the Myfaction mode once I learned it was yet another case of "buy the card, grind for hours, etc) ... If I play a game for hours, it should be because I enjoy it and want to play that long, not because I feel forced to hoping to gamble my way to a new skin. Not only that, but a skin I can only use in that mode... The mode was miss at the onset, yet they keep trying to force it down our throats... Clearly they don't much watch the WWE product as the fans really don't like it when you so overtly try to push them.
My Faction needs many improvements but this is about making more money. I can’t tell you the amount of duplicate wrestler cards I’ve gotten. It would be better if they removed that and have the cards pull from ones you don’t have or for a very small in game currency offer those at a price, depending on the levels of the cards.
