They need to make EVERY MOVE available as signature or finisher. It makes no sense why they limit some moves to grapple only, it never used to be this way before. Nothing more frustrating than someone’s finisher being in the game but unavailable to select as a finisher
That's True Fix everything in this game know exceptions then even needs to add more blood more matches old and new because right now Aew game is coming for them like bray Wyatt says "RUN" 😤🔥

There’s a ripcord lariat from the kneeling position that is easily the best variation in the game. Also, the Cody Cutter 2 from the corner is a travesty for not being able to be a finisher or signature.

I FULLY agree. Just a couple days ago I was finishing up my first female CAW, wanted to give her Tiffany's Prettiest Moonsault Ever but unfortunately it's only available as a normal move. Honestly so weird.
Commmunity Creations constantly crashing the game is driving me insane. I've reinstalled and reset my PS5 from scratch but no fix. Usually just scrolling through community creation pages eventually crashes the game. I can download 1 or 2 things and then it will crash. Its ridiculous.
The thing that bothers me 2k had years to build a completely new game and decided to build off old software this is why the game always seems to have the same bugs

Make it closer to 2K19. Make Universe, and GM the main modes
Both GM and Universe feel like they've started making them and then suddently just stopped when they were 20% done
Bro, this is what I've been saying for yrs. 2k19 was so special that they had a whole competition when the game dropped. The controls were simple and easy. If they could do the next game with these graphics, 19 controls and drop all the side bullshit and focus on a better story, gm, and universe mode, this game would hit a 9-10 score easy. Just my opinion, I hope others feel the same. Oh, add some more weapons like AEW and better blood like 19 but with mat blood physics and leaking blood. I'm just saying.
@@hudhaifahabdussabur3833 Maybe add some more Story designer elements into Univere. It should be about telling the stories we want to tell. That's where the 2K/Yukes games dropped the ball in the creativity department. Bit yeah get some more weapons, more interesting environmental. Like barricade dives. Change the way the announce table area works. Let's start doing moves, AND REVERSALS from one announce table to the other or even the floor if theres only one. Let is be more creative with the way we use weapons such as letting me set up a whole bunch of chairs for a spot or something. I remember seeing UA-camrs go to play the new games, and the dumbasses are praising, and thinking big head modes, and Bump in the Night arenas are what's going to make this more fun, and I'm just thinking. Get these guys out of here. That stuff's dumb as hell. Or they'd be praising a tower mode as the savior of the game, and I'm here like. It's called Universe mode, and adding GM mode, or Create a Finisher, or Create a comeback. What were these people thinking.
Merge them. Why not “universal gm mode” where you start the game off as “god” like in universe where you can setup the stage, the titles, etc and then after GM mode kicks in where the draft comes into play, and everything else for gm mode. Plus we get cut scenes and everything from gm mode. That would be cool af
And also add side quests to continue my rise like my career mode in 2k19
They need to bring back, Universe Mode Show Intros, 2K15s Pin Animation, Chain Wrestling tie ups!
Bring back promos
4 man tag team option in universe would be nice. Also entrance music for DX and evolution. No point of having the motions and not music

One that bugs me mostly is what’s the point of the limb damage if there’s no effect. Like I could work on someone’s legs and it doesn’t matter thats one. I remember in the old games when you used to work on body part they would limp or hold their arm or hold their head. I miss that
They'd also stagger during the match and randomly get dizzy due to head damage.
And when you injure your opponent to the point where he’s “ not medically cleared to compete “ you’ll see him competing against someone else in 2 weeks .
It’s because Visual Concepts doesn’t have the experience to make a good wrestling game. As the old Cody Rhodes song goes “You’re only smoke and mirrors”

Univers mode needs a complete overhaul. They should unite it with gm mode and have the sandbox and the gm mode part instead os superstar mode
Speaking of double title matches 2k need to allow Roman to put both universal and WWE title on the line at the same time in a double title match, doesn’t matter that much now due to the new championship however it would be a nice edition

Something I noticed that I don’t see anyone bring up is that they removed the option of putting music when creating a custom show. In previous years you were able to add music to the show, I don't know why it was missing this year. They need to patch it back in. I felt like having music with the custom show made universe mode more authentic and it gave your show more personality. It feels hollow without it in my opinion.
yeah it sucks but if that was the price for the rivalry actions i'll take it universe is a lot better now imo just bring promos back more cutscenes add at least 3v3 rivalries if shows music is brought back cool just keep the music available for entrances too

We’ll 2k removed show intros, so why would we need to have music on the shows if we don’t have intros?

@jayden80100 yeah i think i know what you mean and there's a way we dont pick the cutscenes just set wrestlers in a rivalry and just play the rivalry match, and yes i think universe is better this year i like to be able to decide what the wrestlers i'm playing as do in rivalries,that's what universe needed imo 2k just needs to add more cutscenes and more rivalry types like 3v3 for example, surprises are only good when they surprise us and universe repeating the same cutscenes over again wasn't fun know not do i get to choose what happens in a rivalry but how often rivals face each other on weekly shows and i can have the undertaker finaly act like the undertaker at any time without having to wait for the wrestlemania rivalry
For never ending rivalries, just select a rivarly action that ends the feud at the PLE. It doesn't have to be a "loser leave town". Most of them are X is going up in his division/power ranking while Y is going down. There is also a X beats down Y who is out of action for some weeks.
Tag Teams in Universe mode are a mess, especially rivalries.
What I dislike, both for single and tag team rivalries, is that when a rivalry action swap out one of the two participant/tag, the opponent is randomized. It may not be a huge issue for single feuds, but the computer always goes for a weird combination for the new team. It generally is two wrestlers who are in a team, but not with each other. ie. Erik & Mansoor, Jey Uso & Xavier Woods and so on...
The replacing team should either be an existing team, or two single wrestlers.
And I'm not even talking about everything being messy in tag rivalries.
yeah that's anoying i'm ok with the random oponent but the tagteams version needs working, the random oponents should be from the same team or two single wrestlers like you said

Hey how about the limited championship entrances available on create an entrance for caws. Always one step forward and two steps back.
Every time I want to get into Community Creations (PS5) i have to be extra careful because if I move too fast between pages or check out a CAW and returning, it soft locks, I have to play a match, return and pray it doesn't happen again

Bring back run in interference, universe mode, pre show fireworks made it feel like an actual event .
Get rid of stun mechanic
Get rid of fighting game health bars (HCTP)
Get Rid of combos
Make it more grapple based, but dont require a lock up before every move
Add move sort options from Day of Reckoning
Hire Justin Leeper for MyRise and more
Bring in Austin for Mocap
Bring in Hogan to sync his air guitar correctly
The Stun mechanics and combo mechanic are extremely useful and doesn’t need to be disregarded.

I should not lose 3 ways and 4 especially not in story because I was stunned on the outside. It's over gamified and if you're gonna do that, AT LEAST in story making it 3 and 4 way dance rules.
A mechanic that can force you to lose match like a ladder match you're forced to win is no good no matter how much it helps your role playing and scripting matches in your head.

@@EasyE3939 If you don’t want to role play you shouldn’t be playing any wrestling game, and the combo mechanism is optional, and all you have to do is reverse the move and wait for your meter to despair. I know there’s no reason to take it out.

Taking the controls out of my hand for a dumb ass stun mechanic out of WWF War Zone which was essentially a 2D fighting game fronting as a wrestling game does not mesh with a fun wrestling game
I get that it mimics dumb wrestling tropes of standing around waiting to catch their opponents or people purposely Rolling out the ring so two ppl can get their shit in but devs should know the difference between putting what's done on TV and designing something TO PLAY

I can’t even hold you. You KNOW how I feel about combos. They’re waaaay too stiff & robotic. Definitely feel way outta place in this game. Unrealistic movements, unrealistic selling. It’s not a “bad” feature in theory. It’s just that 2Ks execution of it isn’t very good. Same goes for the stun feature. It’s just poorly executed. Why in the blue hell are wrestlers getting stunned from an Irish whip into the corner, or simply being repositioned. If the stun occurred by damaging the opponents’ head then that would make far more sense.
They need to fix superstars getting up too quickly after chair shots!!!!!!
Tons of people begged them for an arcade game. This is what most people wanted, unfortunately.
@@JM1993951 No, that's not why, the revamped gameplay started with WWE 2K22 and the chair shot downtime was perfect in that game. The reduction in time a superstar stays down after a chair shot in WWE 2K23 has nothing to do with some call for arcade gameplay because for one this isn't an arcade wrestling game nor does it play like one. To further prove that point 2K added fatigue animations and tired motions in 2K23 because it's a sim wrestling game. So again this issue has nothing to do with some cry for arcade gameplay.
The reason why there is a reduction in time a wrestler stays down from a chair shot is the same as many other questionable issues with the game and more likely than not it's because of an oversight or a bad judgment call by a programmer.
I saw they did the tired finishers but I would like to see tired pins! Like the crawling one or the one where you pin and then lay there after the 3 count!!
I would also like them to bring back the run in animations, pre and post match cuts scenes too!!
I personally love wrestling games and mainly the WWE games. This game is so frustrating to me with the bugs that I don't even play it as much as I used to. I have purchased every WWE wrestling game as far back as I can remember, but I won't buy next year's if it's as buggy as 2k23. As a community, we need to stop spending our money on these games until they work as they should. Just really frustrated with the product and previous ones.
The problem is the fan base is so obsessed over graphics and how the models look that's why the devs don't focus on the core of the game which is the gameplay.
2k knows all you have to do is sale them something that is candy coated and they will buy it.

Please give us the ability to perform signatures and finishers off the top of cages,ladders, Elimination chamber and wargames. Why they removed this ability a few years ago is mind boggling. This should be an easy patch fix.
There's a lot of stupid issues with this game in regards to entrances. Especially in Create a Entrance. One of the most annoying things for me is the rainbow attire glitch when you select leather and it makes the edges of things have the rainbow effect. Still can't believe we don't have a Judgement Day entrance yet.........I've given up on getting a Rated RKO entrance. Also miss the random attire option for Universe mode. For every step 2K takes forward..........they take about 3 steps back.
They need to make it so that we can do five man and four-man entrances without turning people into managers for example the OC and judgement day
I wish they added the new themes for some of the superstars like they did with Dana. It would be amazing if they added asukas or charlottes new theme
There's a limit to how new stuff they are realistically going to add. It they kept the game up to date, nobody would buy next years installment.
Especially Asuka's. Even Cora Jade needs her new heel theme. Ironically, the game began with her heel trons, but they later patched it to her face trons.

They really need to sort out the Universe mode, options and logistics if the game.
Universe mode could be so much better…it needs more options and more customisation.
More Legends would be nice and more space for attires and custom wrestlers too.
Remove my faction and combine gm mode and universe mode. They legit can add both elements and have the option to use certain features or not.
Tag team finisher interface needs an upgrade. You should be able to select a different tag finisher for each tag member so instances like Triple H hitting the sweet chin music and Shawn hitting the pedigree instead of vice versa don't occur. My favorite example is Enzo military pressing Big Cass for the rocket launcher. Ridiculous.
There's a lot of fixes that are needed, custom side plates not working for most of the modern titles, double title defense in universe for examples
they need to fix that it kinda ruins the game for me its been an issue since 2k20
Up the image count for caws. None of my guys have entrance attires because of this. Being able to move towards the ropes when you are in a submission down on the mat. Being able to use the ring bell as a weapon. Make tired regular moves that kick in when a match goes long so you dont see the same animations. Don't make ANYTHING disappear after breaking because it takes from the feel and realism.
Being able to perform a finisher from a grapple. More dynamic camera angles when performing moves.
Remember when you could give commands to your tag partner by using the dpad?
It’ll never happen, but I’ve always wanted announce tables to stay broken throughout the rest of the show.
They need to bring back the light heavyweight option for belts. Like in 2k19 only light heavyweight and cruiser weights can wrestle for the light heavyweight title.
Perhaps a silly thing, but I wish they would fix the stats on some of the titles in Universe mode, some titles have no historical data, and some don't have accurate lengths for certain title lengths (Gunther IC title in days on date of release of the game).

Tag team matches need an overhaul. Matches go on sometimes way too long because of all the pin break ups. Each team should only get 3 pin break ups. Also, if you throw a wrestler out of the ring near your partner, and your partner starts to attack that wrestler, the other parter should go and help their partner and not just stand on the apron and watch what’s going on.
Yeah the tag matches are awful
Man I just love your presentation skills. The groups in WWE have always been overlooked.
Like APA was one the upcoming tag team with one of the best enterance music old times. Also I wanted to know if groups like Rated Rko, Evolution is already present in the game. Furthermore, Nexus, old Wyatt family and old Shield would have been A+ if included.

The ground grapple/strike/limb target system is absolutely abysmal and it's a huge chore when creating a moveset.
Design patterns and shapes that I use for outfits and logos are no longer smooth it's back to being transparent they did fix in a past patch but one of the newest patch ruined it now all the attires I made are messed up again and don't get me started with create a entrance when certain lights aren't working and your stuck with the animations lights instead they need to fix the lights and give us more pyros for goodness sakes 2k20 had more entrance effects bring all those back we need more effects added.
Also we need more body types and Hair styles or just update the old hair styles the makes them look more up to date and not so stiff looking or better yet give us hair styles of the npcs from MyRise mode and give us more entrance music if you have some one on roster who had a theme from last year's game include that one as well.

I know it won't happen this year. But I'd love to see more arena templates like venues so if you wanted you could have either screens behind the crowds or a small Indy arena. So it had that small Indy venue feel. Without having to go to cc and get people's modded arenas. And more stage options like in your house full set up or the iyh buried alive setup even if we'll never get a buried alive match again. Maybe it's just me lol
They should make community creations available even for people who forgot about their PlayStation password

I agree with not being able to insert your referee for a show in Universe Mode. Its frustrating! I like to create my own Universe show with ref of my choice not a generic one. Hope they fix this soon.
Missed that on the community tab but talking about themes, the Ministry Undertaker's theme is incorrect. Either they put the wrong model on Undertaker '98 in the game and the theme is for Undertaker '98, however they have the Undertaker '99 model in the game on Undertaker '98. He even has the incorrect theme for the attire. This is what annoys me a lot. Putting the incorrect theme with a model that they had in previous games before. They can simply either add one of the 3 Ministry themes, or fix the model and give us a correct Undertaker '98 model that they also have had in previous games before.
Just set him right through the custom entrances

@Assemble I can confirm that the gun club and the acclaimed music themes are in fight for ever but their in game models are nowhere to be found in AEW fight for ever.
MYGM - Tag Teams having rivalries resolved via some type of match like singless matchs with submission match - Also Tag team promos to progress the rivalries again like singles matches have. There are a lot more things in MYGM but not being able to watch a backstage brawl makes no sense to me and not being able to see and also not being able to watch a match if there are interference run ins from a selected wrestler. Many more things but top 3 at the moment for myself.

there's loads of issues... one thing that's not a priority but would be cool is setting alt attires as default in Universe. get suck of seeing Angle with the headthing on (there's not even a wig there..) so I set an alt, but in rivalries and cut scenes it always presets to default.
Please fix the online servers issues, when we irishwhip the opponent server crashes everytime and it replaces the players with AI

@@Heel_Nation yep they said the same 2 me too, but I asked them to play the game for once to find the issues and they said they have assigned a team to work on it.
I would love to see rivalries be dependent on the upcoming ppv show. For example if you have elimination chamber coming up, it would be cool to have an option to create a 6 man rivalry w the champ until the ppv match. Same with money in the bank - they should have qualifier matches be part of the story being told about money in the bank. Survivor series would be fun to see a brand vs brand style story line where you can pick 4 from one show and 4 from another. Of course have the regular rivalries play out behind these main story lines but just something to keep the universe fresh and different from week to week.
Idk if anyone else has seen this, but for me in MyGM, when playing a match using caws, they we all have default signatures & finishers. They’re moves we be okay & their paybacks sometimes, but they would ALL have the generic default special moves like the DDT for example. I had a similar problem with this in last year’s game also.
i had a similar issue but in universe,what i did was i went to create a wrestler chose edit the caw and selected his hometown again i then accepted all changes and then i saved in every mode, that made the moveset entrance etc available in universe, maybe that will work for mygm if mygm takes the caw from play mode and that's one of the modes we can save
So glad you talked about the online. The game is fun until you get to the online games. 9 out of the 10 matches I do it crashes and everyone is replaced by an bot. It’s so frustrating

When they show the title belt when you’re about to get ready to fight your opponent it doesn’t do that thing anymore like electric design comes out when your title belt is be announced and somethings wrong with the tag team when you get ready to fight your opponent you’re a superstar is taking your tag team partner
They really need a way to blow off tag team feuds in my gm and tag promos... I do like they kinda helped tag rivalries if they have chemistry vs each other gaining 2 vs 1 but it doesn't always happen that way..
A recent patch messed up the movie graphics for created championships. Previously there were 5 different championship animations to chose from, Attitude Era, ECW, WCW.....etc. Now all five movies look the same as all graphics are gone.
They need to add more wwe superstars that made the cut in 2k22 for example Candice LeRae and Mia Yim we need Branson reed,Tegan Nox,Emma and more wwe superstars that needs to be in the game
Sometimes deleting caw/ superstar attires. When you delete “USED IN” content. Will go ahead and delete renders for other superstars. Especially when deleting not used images, will delete renders that are being used.

They need to make a different animation for Tag Team kick outs like as in the saves when you save your partner. I think this will also make it more easier and challenging to win tag matches and 2nd they need to bring back when you start off the match to put each other in different grapples
I just wish there was more granular control in Universe mdoe. Like if I have a 3rd party entrance ambush, I'd like to be able to pick who the superstar being attacked was scheduled to fight, rather than get someone random. Same with tag team stories where I always seem to get two random people rather than one of the existing teams
One of the issues I’m still having is not being able to edit championships with custom logos. I’ll go in to edit or create a new championship and when I try to scroll through my logos it freezes, causing me to have to restart my game.

I’ve had a issue with universe mode where I had a wrestler cash in money in the bank for every show that week. Basically had 4 matches with the same person.
fixing cody's music and ronda's too while they're at it would be nice yeaaah and sami's music add the current but keep the one he has in the game not everyone wants things replaced
Hate how entrances are messed up because you update an attire ie: hair gets tucked into jacket. Also need the preview button back for create an entrance instead of clicking each one and having to go back every time
I wonder if there was some sort of behind the scenes deal with Tony Khan and wwe? With Cody being on both games at the same time, and aew only having his music and the band literally said they have no issue with wwe or anyone using that song, they actually encourage it. So maybe a sure u can use cody but we get the music kinda thing, I dunno just a thought, the wrestling world is crazy
I know it's not a big deal or whatever but The Miz's Titantron is not updated, despite all of his other Trons being updated.
On the bit about Rivalries, mine just end in one playthrough of the selected time length (if I set it to High, it's already finished after that rival's first PLE result), and I end up just using the option of Extend to keep it going.
As usual, though, they still won't address Universe mode Royal Rumble. On top of that, miniscule note, but Superstar Info card when checking on Universe mode progress, doesn't sync up properly. The Wrestlemania portion displays double or more of the actual alloted time. So you can't get a Wrestlemania streak going, because it doesn't properly count the Appearances/Wins/Main Event status after the first calendar year playthrough, and for CAW's Info card, the years count is not accurate as well.
Another note, for general gameplay, Rope Rebound moves, to some extent, don't respond on command. I understand some moves actually are based on timing, which isn't an issue for me, but again, some simply did not execute, like a Spinebuster or a variant of Powerslam.
One of the main issues for me is when I'm creating an entrance and remove the nameplate for my character and go to play a match with them, their nameplate still shows up no matter what.
Here's something 2K REALLY NEEDS TO FIX:
(WWE 2K23)
1. In the Hooded Clothing Section: When you put on Alexa Bliss's HOODED sweaters for created characters, some of the textures for your character's BACK is MISSING. And it looks like a fucking $2 game after I paid for the ICON EDITION. (I would appreciate it if the models didn't look like broken toys.)
2. Another problem is the jacket section: the Doph Zilgler jacket suffers from the same problem as the HOODED Alexa Bliss sweater. When the back of the sweater flies up, it shows MISSING PIECES of the character's BACK, (whether you have clothing on or off.)
3. Another Problem is in the REFEREE department: When I select a FEMALE referee for my Created Arenas, it only chooses the FIRST MALE REFEREE every single time. That needs to be FIXED too.
(WWE 2K22)
1. Here's one for WWE 2K22: The long hair with bangs in the front - The hair is glitched on each side of the character's head and gets tangled with itself. (And there are a ton of characters I have with that hair piece)
I play these games EVERY DAY, so I know what I'm talking about.
And I certainly paid money in hopes WWE 2K23 & WWE 2K22 would function properly - NOT for a limited time where 2K stops caring about their older titles too.
i see alot of tag teams on the other team as they face each other like damage control in a 6 man match bayley is team with bellas vs both members of damage control and lacey evans and yet all 3 members of damage control are loyal to each other or viking raiders, syxx vs hogan and owen and sami
I’m late to the party, but Universe Mode drives me nuts! I constantly have to edit tag team matches for actual teams to be in a match together.
Also, why do the rivals have a match every week!?
I want promos in universe mode to help break up the monotony!

In universe mode I never had problem with my tags being tampered with..when I cut off the rivalrys..that shit is pointless,if you had them in the same division they'll beef regardless

I don't think anyone has mentioned it. But I noticed even if you put Rounda Rousey in a tag team. You can't pick her music as entrance music for team.
Wondering if this has happened to anyone else: In universe mode if you have 2 shows assigned to the Royal Rumble event does anyone else's Men's Rumble match only feature guys from one show only? As in, not 15 stars from each show only one?
Community creations is broken as well I can't even create a superstar and when I do it doesn't show up that I have Superstar that I created or download it from community creations same with arenas I've created arenas and they've glitched out or went to go edit arenas and disappear same with the creations for WWE Superstars
In universe mode when rivalry action is set on for the person who I select to win the match should win the match and not the person who I didn't select to win.

This is why I was okay with 2k19 and the previous game where 2K just copy and paste the engine and update attires etc. We have to wait till they fix universe mode because they are using a different engine smh...come on!

Need to fix Community Creations downloads from WhatTheStatus Shawn Michaels and Triple H for DeGeneration X. Also have a DX Chyna animation of crossing thru the legs. Thank you @Assemble (Matt) for these videos. I still need help with the sliders for realism. (The Sliders that effect every match up for 1v1 2v2 3way etc)
I thought I was the only one having problems with my team getting deleted every other week … I kept deleting other teams because I thought they delete your team because there’s no more space for new teams but it’s still happening .

I wish they’d ask the community on who we want in the DLC too. A lot of the packs this year were weak asf imo and interest in this game has died far quicker than last year. I’m sure it’ll pick up again next month with the Wyatt pack and SummerSlam around the corner but we should get a say we guys like Carlito, Khali, Finley and Hornswoggle etc constantly missing out
What I’m experiencing RIGHT NOW is Custom Wrestlers Movie Entrances are not being played in my Custom Arenas
Main thing since the beginning of the game they were like Guess what new feature use Custom Arenas online and hasn't worked since the beginning at all
For the rivalries to end, what I do personally is play the normal ppv match , then reload the save and this time simulate them , this way they end and you can see them in pas rivalries

Also need to fix it back that when you have multiple attires you could select random and now you have to select one and keep changing it if you want them to wear something different
They should update it to where even if you slam an opponent on a weapon it hurts them even if you do like in real life

When it comes to the judgment day entrance music, for me it doesn't appear anymore, luckily I had the music on Domonik so I alwaysbhave to copy and paste
The bloodline entrance has no lights anymore. That’s fun lol it’s dark as minus the tron
Also when you do a champion match like the tag team and a team win they don't get announced as the new tag team
They need to fix the color of the rings posts for the RAW 2002 arena to make it black!
Maybe i'm the only one who noticed this, but the stadiums for Summerslam/SrummerSlam 2021, Royal Rumble are half empty of people. Same for the stadium in CAA used for Wrestlemania 19.
Community Creations loads indefinitely after browsing a few pages... it's like that since game's launch.
I often feel like i'm playing a game based on a PS3 engine.... and i'm on PS5.
- After each game updates I have to confirm I want to update my save... Why isn't that done automatically? Can't play if I don't do it.
- I call My Rise the infinite loading mode; it's always loading loading loading and loading for matches, cutscenes, etc. Why so many loadings on current gen consoles? It's breaking all the fun to play that mode.
- Backstage and crowd fighting should be improved and accessible in every arenas, it's the same thing since PS3.
I still could go on and on and on.
