They are getting lazy
The meter needs a cool down. After a certain amount of time after a superstar touches the briefcase the green bars should start to revert back.
That or each super star needs their own independent meter for pulling it down.

I’m beyond fed up with this game I paid FULL PRICE for, not working. Constantly removing features or not fixing bugs that limit gameplay. I’m just tired of it.

I guess VC can try to paint their pig of a mode/game every year a different color untile they rode the rainbow forwards and backwords but at the end of te day the pig is still a pig.
Just a few bugs occuring on a daily basis when you spend some more time with the game:
- matchcards constantly getting f*cked
- on occasion you see weird bugs where you can pin in a ladder match...and the next match ur card is broken
- manager accompanied entrances don't work at all with factions
- tag team entrances not working properly
- basically crashes every session in Universe Mode
and more and more and even more, and that is just structurally...the AI is also broken more often than not...especially in matches with specific win condition (aka climb a ladder, exit the cage...)
I have always hated the ladder match in these games. Every character should have their own mini game, not a shared one. It’s not fair I work all match unlocking it, and then someone runs up and grabs it.

It's crazy you brought up MITB cash-ins in Exhibition mode, because I literally just switched the women's MITB over to the World title and the CPU actually did it the next match I successfully defended the title in! It's so rare I literally reacted like I would at a real life cash-in lol

The fact that the cash ins happen randomly in exhibition mode is not as fun as 2K think it is. I like to run my own booking stuff outside of universe mode and the MITB stuff is infuriating
Mitb holders in my universe won’t even enter the ring with the briefcase, it’s just a normal entrance but they still get the right announcement
And they cash in as soon as they win it , which is stupid to me
@@jayygaines1917 i have my ai cash in set to 0 but it does bother me when i go to set up the weekly shows it always has them announcing it and i’m like okay buddy we’re not John Cena why are we doing this

Have you noticed that '02 Hogan's shirt pokes out in the back before he rips the shirt off during his entrance? It didn't look like that in 2K23. 😂😂😂
Yeah Matt I agree they should allow us to cash in the MITB briefcase whenever the champion is in the ring. Also it’s so dumb that they removed the feature to cash it in exhibition mode, like WHY??!

The AI is SO broken when it comes to MITB ladder matches in WWE 2K24 and I’m so glad that you’re covering this topic, Matt!
Another huge problem is the ladder will fall over if someone even blows on it the AI will slide into the ring barley touch the ladder on the animation and it just falls over similar to tables making the match almost unplayable with 6 people
It gets more broken each time. Also Post match run ins has been in the game for like... 7-8 years? In exhibition. And it hasnt worked the entire time.
I noticed mine does a run in to start every match

We need a update on WWE2k24 that fix’s the problem that we are all having in this game

It would be nice to download from community creations....apparently I have over 1000 images even though I've only download 8 wrestlers and 3 arenas. I deleted CAWs and still can't download any new CAWs.
Another thing,the cutscenes In universe like 70% of the time ome of the superstars are invisible lol
is the invisible wrestler an edited alt attire?
and do you have 2 attires of that wrestler's edited alt in the same saved slot?
if thats the delete the 2nd slot and that wrestler shouldn't be invisible anymore

The rivalry actions really sucks because you have to play matches to keep the rivalries going. It would be great if you could do promos between the participants to drag out the rivalry, so that they wouldn't even have a match until you actually decided to. I guess promos returning will be a selling point in 2k25 🙄

It was decent before last patch. These matches along with tag team matches are just not fun to play since the patch. I’m glad ncaa 2025 is coming out soon. I think this one is going in the shelf for me.
@@AssembleShow pretty much all multi man matches are broken. The AI 🤖 is terrible. In the next WWE 2K game they have to put a limit on how many times you can roll out of the ring (like it used to).
Lol, Assemble. I hear you boss. I had a 6 Superstar Tornado Tag match set up. The game launched it and I was watching. About 20 min one of the superstars was tapping out, in which Corey Graves says: He can tap out, but it won't work in this match. This made me raise an eyebrow. I paused the game and looked at the match rules......... everything was turned off. DQ off. Ring Exit off. Pin and submission off. Falls count anywhere off. KO off. Like....... this match was set to never end. I didn't build the match that way for sure.. this was AI generated.
I was into the idea of 2K spacing out the DLC from the usual release schedule at first, because I thought it would give them more time for quality control/bug fixes. It's really hard to give them any leeway at this point though, because it just feels like all they are doing in between DLC releases is pushing that MyFaction BS. To hell with the rest of the game I guess. It's all designed to funnel you into spending real money in MyFaction anyway.
In a post match cash-in when they attack with the briefcase there should be stored finishers to just squash the champion like realistic wwe.
At this point I'd just settle for the cutscenes working as intended. But yeah I agree. Kind of ruins immersion doing a post match cash in attack only to have a 10 min match cause the champ won't stay down

My faction cards ridiculous odds. Last year I'm buying this game. These people don't care about customers in other stuff. Take 6 or 12 more months get it right first time, instead of trying to get it out as soon as possible.

That's just bad maybe if they stopped making a new game every year instead just release a game every 2 years apart they will actually have legendary games that match bioshock
Thankyou! I was hoping somebody would notice the exhibition of Money in the bank cash in, it wouldn't work for me and was spending hours trying to figure out how to do it, I hope 2k fix this problem.
Honestly, I think I’m just done with the game. 1 step forward, 2 steps back it always seems. Until they get rid of the spaghetti code, we will forever deal with these things.
I put the MITB holder as a rival for the title holder in exhibition to increase the possibility of a cash in post match. Helps more after having a tough 5 star match with the champion but still not as frequent as it should be
It's feeling more and more like the games before 2k20 were better than what we have now.
I'm personally not a fan of the new rivalry system.

I tried defending this game forever seemingly lol and I just can't anymore. This entire game is now a hot mess ai doesn't work properly, not that it ever did anyways, Universe mode s completely shattered just fix the game 2K! Enjoyed the video Assemble...and to think i was gonna try and watch an ai MITB match thank you for saving me the headache lol
You might as well add this to the list because the runin paybacks and the paparazzi pay back has not been working in universe mode ever since 2K22 it only works and play now only which is so frustrating.
I remember having to play it in 2K22’s MyRISE, and I almost rage quit.
for me it's exactly the other way around For me, the AI climbs the ladder very quickly and the match is over within 5 minutes because they solve the mini-game completely quickly
Yeah preach it brother !!! The patch also took away custom titon tons from victory settings options. It was there because I was doing it months earlier.
Same thing on the ladder setup with me they don't climb the ladder I watched one for 20 mins one day and it just never happened..I still say DLC I'd the problem because generally all this stuff works until the DLC starts to drop then we start to lose stuff..we gotta get this video to 2K..
I noticed that too. Unrelated, I hate that you can't do tournaments with women's superstars. I was trying to do it for thr NXT Women's Championship, but they're not an option between that or any women's title.
I regret updating the game to patch 1.11, the game that was once fun is now completely broken..
It’s crazy , even catching finishers off of top rope dives war removed … like why tf even have catching finishers if I can only do them off a stupid Irish whip ?
WWE 2k24 MITB is like the worse version of SvR 07 MITB.

2k24 is the wwe 2k20 sequel. Every mode and match is scuffed in some way. Broken AI, universe, online, myfaction, caws and the list goes on. Currently as it stands, it's just not worth playing right now.
Yes. I’m just playing 2k19 again and 2k14. It bums me out. This game could be great but there’s something very fundamentally wrong at its core, code wise. The dna of this game is simply effed.
Backstage brawl, where you have to win by KO took forever but it wasn’t terrible..
2k needs to be careful. After seeing what's happening to their NBA franchise, they need to stop being complacent. Eventually all empires fall. There are other wrestling games coming out.
Related tangentially: I just had the PLE pass in my universe and the 2 ladder matches... were pinfall only. It was with a mostly default match table too, so I doubt that would effect it. But yeah, 2 ladder matches that could only be won by pinfall. Fascinating.
Ngl i really gave 2k a chance this year and while its great… you can really tell there is no soul to this anymore just a yearly cashgrab
You forgot abt the tag team matches that match type is broke this is why I stay on WWE2K23
I ended up getting rid of the Money in the Bank PLE and the briefcases in my universe lol
You should also be able to do a fake out cash in, or the holder just lurks ringside. Since that happens often on TV, which is interesting, it could be random. Maybe the ai just teases an opponent, or they're actually cashing in.
The Bugs And Glitches Are Messing Up This Game
I experienced that problem in exhibition mode, where no one would attempt to get up the ladder. I did a 5 person ladder match, and they never went up. I just had to quit.
I want them to bring back the run-in system from 2K19. It had 4 options, Pre-Match, Mid-Match, Post-Match, & MITB. With MITB I’m pretty sure it asked if you wanted a Mid-Match cash-in or post-match
seems odd but matt i love the that idea you press a button or certian button that would be alot of sense why did 2k take it away seems very odd to me
I’ve felt like the MITB option has been underutilized for YEARS now. So glad it’s being talked about. Even if it worked as 2k intended, they could add a variety of cutscenes/entrances rather than the same 2 we’ve had for years & maybe even some special commentary that actually sounds shocked and excited.
Commentary especially. No disrespect to the commetary team if they actually recorded their lines, but they could at least try to sound like they aren't reading off a script at times
2K has a quota that if they make a game too good we won't buy the sequel. So they break their games little by little until we have to buy the ultimate patch: the next game.

I actually dunno how long I think since before wm 40? Cause I remember him addressing the lack of the arena ,his stuff sorta just became mandatory viewing when I see him having uploaded.
In universe mode i noticed if you have a singles match ai vs ai non title with world champion in match you can trigger the cash in on the pause menu. But you can’t do it when the title is on the line which is dumb!
One fix that could help in Cashing in options, is maybe mapping the options on the big touchpad...at least for PS5. Swipe left for a tease, swipe right for an actual Cash-in, etc... This could work at anytime in any mode, given they fixed everything else you mentioned. lol
I like playing the showcase and myRise to an extent but you only play it one time through. We already know they got the taste of greed, so if they focus on making myFaction worth playing (they're getting there), cause you know there not giving that up, and combining and fixing myGM and myUniverse modes together, we'll be good. Seriously, if they spent more time and focus on making Universe mode the best thing they got with different playing options (Setting Toggles), there would be less complaining...hopefully! lol
i agree with you they need to make it where either supertar from what ever brand wins it and cash it in in the champion of that brand

Crazy, I was just thinking about this all this week. I won it with LA Knight in exhibition mode which is rare cuz I’m not good in ladder matches. What a waste cuz he never cashes in as AI. Lfg 2K wtf

Honestly I still think the dumbest thing about cashing in is not having a finisher when you cash in. Like what’s even the point then if you can’t win instantly
What I can't stand is the mitb briefcase is tied to one championship. You should be able to challenge for any title. Additionally, if you have custom universe mode, you should be able to switch the briefcase or championships in cutscenes. I make my own titles and briefcase and the fact that I can't showcase that through highlight reels is annoying.

I don't even do automatic rivalries anymore. Make a google doc, book PLEs and push the stars I wanna push. That's my method.
I think a single button prompt for MITB cash-ins would be cool for simulation but wouldn’t work for me in gameplay
12:12 That’s just the limit of how many could appear on the show. Rivalries get priority and override the match table. Delete the rivalries.
Also when you have been able to cash in, it is kinda lame can only do so in 1 on 1 matches.
Another issue honestly is just the AI in general, i did a 6 man tag elim, it got down to a 3v1, i walked away for 15 mins, the 3 were still outside beating up the 1, i had to just end and simulate it.
I know this is not MITB related but they need to bring back the promo mode in universe it felt like I actually was watching wrestling

Small correction, Assemble. You don't need to be in a rivalry to cash in. Just have to face each other then use the rivalry actions. There, it doesn't limit you.
Yes im so struggling to run my production from this game because its just bugs everywhere and on top of it the game is constantly crashing especially when going into creating a show it sends me right to my xbox home screen... Plus don't get me started on the online the servers always crashing and having to go back to the whole title screen like WTF 2K its 2024 why is these games running like this
I also hate MITB in my universe mode , I be trying ti have long term cash ins and as soon as they win they cash in the next week and it urks me because what if I want to cash in at a PPV 😮💨
Tbh, I haven't even used the mitb in universe since like 2k22, just seems to mess up for me all the time
For me it worked I played John Cena vs Roman reigns Damian cashed in but it happened without me making it happen in any way but that makes it a fun suprise
This is absolutely crazy and good to know. I made some custom briefcases yesterday, so this was definitely helpful.
I don’t like that if a new champion is crowned in the match you cannot cash in post match or at least I can not trigger it even when I set it up
WWE 2k24 is one of most polished games gameplay wise, but it’s so broken everywhere else. So many game breaking glitches. I hate this game. I hope WWE 2k25 gives TONS of love to the game modes that matter like Universe mode.
It won't. But everyone keeps hoping (myself included) and keeps buying the game so it doesn't matter. Once people stop buying because universe is neglected, they'll weigh the numbers and determine if it is more profitable to redesign universe or scrap the mode all together. Will probably be the latter
I lost all the wrestlers that I unlocked and then I got them back, but the other modes I lost except for my faction
The ai throws you to apron out of the ring and then just stands there. Same problem in tag matches. The Ai just doesn't interact when you are standing on the apron out of the ring. Also, it would be great if Ai was smart enough to dodge/block running attacks and heavy attacks.
Gotta go to gameplay, run ins....put it all the way up yo...but I feel u on alot of that stuff
Ok this is nothing is nothing about mitb but i just wanted to point out (and because this is a big deal to me) whenever charlotte flair goes for the figure 8, she always cancels the hold... I honestly just dont get it and hopefully 2k fixes it soon.

AI Escobar CAW cashed in during my universe even though Damian Priest had the case.
I'm waiting for the bug to be resolved. I paid the full price, the game until patch 1.10 had interesting gameplay, but now its horrible to play

It’s not only MITB that’s weird and downgraded the manager role just sucks now before I could break up a pin distract the ref or the opponent now when I’ve tried to play as the manager I can barely do anything the only thing I can do is just remove the turnbuckle
Another thing I don’t like is that you can’t cash-in during ppv 🙁
All of this stuff is a bummer but nothing will top having 40 years of Wrestlemania and giving us a handful of Wrestlemania arenas. That is the true downer for me.
IDK if is not applicable anymore as of 1.11 since I stopped playing the game due to my personal schedule, but the patches before allowed me to AI cash-in during exhibition mode. It's just that you'll need to crank up all the run-in sliders before the start of your match. The way it's programmed is quite nonsensical and broken, though. For days, I have been trying to simulate Damian's cash-in on Drew at WrestleMania and even as I play as Drew, who should be the new champion following the outcome of the real match, despite Drew winning, the cash-in run-in has Seth defending his championship to Damian instead, even if he's already lost it to his challenger.
Fix the images bug. Fix the MITB cash in. Add create a finisher among other things.

Oh the mitb match sucks, I was watching one and it took literally 2hrs to finish. I only let it go that long because I was editing. Now this isn’t a problem if it wasn’t got the fact that it only took this long because they kept wanting to fight each other even though they had 1000s of opportunities to climb a ladder
2k24 will tell a story of ive people not gonna loose interest in 2k25 they can at least get weapons sorted to do more with 😢
I’m not sure why MITB didn’t work for you but the computer cashed in the money in the bank on me during exhibition match it happened about a month ago so maybe that patch really messed things up
In my universe, Finn Balor just won the MitB Ladder match… by pinfall while someone else was climbing the ladder 🙃

Yes When I’m trying to do a cashing, it was Shinsky versus Seth with Seth Rollins wins match keeps going and keeps going forever and it’s not an Iron Man match. It’s like a loop like you said.
